The front lobby is a "no-frills" Asian spa (Chinese-operated, not Korean), but don't let the modest exterior fool you--it is surprisingly huge inside and can accommodate up to 20 people at once. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me immediately. Here are a few tips for your visit: The Setup: The rooms are separated by doors for privacy, but the individual sections are divided by curtains, so you can sometimes hear neighbors talking. The Pressure: This is the place for people who actually want a hard massage. Even their "regular" pressure is much firmer than a "deep tissue" at a place like Burke Williams. I especially loved the technique where they step on your back--it's incredibly effective! Just make sure to be vocal about your preferences if you want them to adjust. Pricing & Upselling: They are very clear and upfront with their signs, but like any spa, they may offer add-ons. Just ask if something is included or an extra charge; they aren't trying to scam you, they're just running a business. Location: It's in a perfect spot right next to all the amazing restaurants off Spring Mountain, making it a great stop before or after dinner. If you don't need a giant hot tub or a steam room and just want a focused, high-quality massage that actually works out the knots, this is the spot. I left feeling super relaxed!

I chose the 60-minute deep tissue full body massage, which cost $68 for one hour. That price is actually on the lower side for the Las Vegas area. However, I felt that the therapist's pressure was not strong enough and didn't quite achieve the results I was expecting. That being said, the overall environment and pricing were still very good. It's definitely a place worth coming back to in the future.

LV Thai Massage & Spa sounds like it could be any generic massage spot off Spring Mountain, but the reviews suggested this could be a wonderful experience. And thankfully, they were right. Located in a low key plaza just outside of the University area, the signs for the place aren't obvious. It turns out it's located in a building that looks like it was once a former local bank or old school office in a brick laden exterior with plentiful parking. The space is calm and tidy and the atmosphere they've setup means is meant to set a tranquil mood, which I appreciate. The rooms are private and some of them have the ceiling cross bars, which is a must for yours truly. Backwalking is something I've preferred in Chinese reflexology for the deep tissue massage, but the Thai version might take it to a new level. There is a consultation with the reception and masseuse prior to every reception to identify areas to focus on, pressure level, and lingering injuries. My massages here have been excellent and all masseuses have been good about keeping the pain to a minimum. The signature Thai massage ($100) is the one I appreciate the most, since it focuses on tension and flexibility. Choose a combo ($90-130) massage and they'll throw in some Swedish techniques that definitely give another edge to the experience. Generally the massages start anywhere from $80-150 an hour. Add-ons in the form of aromatherapy can be tacked on, as well as other services such as hot stones, cupping, and acupuncture. Appointments and masseuses can be chosen online and the staff is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and excellent at what they do. ____________ My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lv-thai-massage-and-spa-las-vegas?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ

There is parking right in front of the entrance, and the restrooms are located on the right and the front desk on the left. They had me fill out an intake form in a waiting room, where they had complimentary water and tea. The place smelled very fragrant, like frankincense. I had Dede at my last session and she was great! For a Swedish Massage, she didn't go too light but also didn't leave me in pain like deep tissue. She was also very nice. I will definitely be back! Booking is easy through Vagaro, and you can even text them to reschedule your appt.

90 minute massage + cupping. $130…read more You really can't complain at that price. The massage was firm and painful at times. However, it's that good pain you know will feel much better later. And boy, did it. My upper back and shoulders haven't felt this loose in years. The cupping is what really loosened me up. My back looks like it was attacked by the desert octopus. Some circles weren't too dark.. some.. omg. Dark af. I would def go back.

Overall, it's been a mixed bag of experiences, because ultimately it depends on the masseuse, fluctuating prices, and their schedule. Overall, it's a solid facility and large enough to wear. It can accommodate all sorts of groups for a variety of different massages. There are plenty of chairs for foot massages, private rooms galore, custom shoulder massage chairs, and a serene ambiance with Chinese style furniture that helps with its overall vibe. There have been times where other patrons are talking and there have been times where the mass masseuses are the ones chatting (audibly). The back walking, deep tissue massages are the ones to get, but not every masseuse is able to do this. Some folks may complain about the lack of English, but that has never posed an issue for anyone I brought here, including myself. There are benefits to being members here, in which prices are always going to average out on the cheaper side and is an option, I would recommend for any local. If the massage was good, remember the name of the masseuse. Cash is king, even though they also accept credit cards. Tips can vary, of course, but don't let anyone bully for more than what is reasonable. (#1) __________ (#1) Typically $10-15 for an hour's worth is my rule of thumb.
