There are individual rooms so you won't have to worry about others. Calming music plays in the background, and the place smells like a typical spa with aroma therapy - fresh and soothing! I requested Tiffany since she was listed in the reviews often for a deep tissue massage. It was my first Thai massage, and when you say hard, she really goes at it. She also confirms if you're okay with her walking on you. In any case, it was good. I did choke a bit lol - but she quickly adjusted and brought out a towel for a higher resting point for my head. I'm writing this review the next day, and I'd say my neck feels a bit better, but I'm also sore in other places now lol.. but I think that means the Thai massage worked since it hits deeper pressure points! I've been coming to Sawadee Thai Spa for years now and at this point, I'm definitely a regular. There are even times when I come two weeks in a row because of how much pain I'm in. This was the best Thai massage I have ever gotten! Wendy was insanely good. I usually just wait for the standing on my back portion of the massage to be over, but I was shocked at how amazing it felt! Wendy was so skilled I couldn't even tell it was her feet sometimes! My wife and I had 90 minute messages. She had Swedish and I had the combination (highly recommended). They let us use the couples room which we couldn't book for 90 min on the website. (my only criticism) Our masseuses were amazing! After asking about anything they should avoid or concentrate on they began. So good, so thorough, my wife melted under her masseuses touch. We truly felt every area was attended to with care and professionalism. We will definitely be returning at least monthly. They're very very firm on your body if you can handle them walking and stretching you all over. My wife had a couples massage scheduled for my birthday (08/28) for 2:15PM They called us today asking if we can come earlier, we said we cannot and that it'll actually be better if we can push to 2:30PM, the lady started saying that they are full and that we can come tomorrow, my wife told her that we planned this for my boat and that we wish to keep our appointment and she just said "we will have to cancel" and hanged up the phone. Shockingly, I called again and gave her my opinion on her hanging up the phone on my wife, then she did the same thing again and hanged up on me and didn't answer my call after. I have been a waiter and bartender for 26 years and I have rarely allowed myself a massage, but I have been in so much pain lately, especially with my back that I just gave in and did the damn thing. Decided I might as well do 2 hours. I walked in feeling so depressed because of the constant pain but 2 hours later, I feel like a new man! I'm not being hyperbolic or exaggerating either. Wassana put me through HELL but I know I needed it and holy moly it made the biggest difference that quack chiropractic BS can't touch. When I say "HELL" I don't mean anything negative about her at all! Not even close. My body has been abused and neglected for so long that any kind of deep massage or stretch would be painful. I went for the full on Thai massage and I'm glad I did. The lady attacked every knot in my body and twisted me like a pretzel. Did it hurt? Yes, but in a good way. I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. I'm not sure about the other types of massages that are offered there, but the traditional Thai is more like a sports medicine session. Upon entering this location the facility looks really clean and someone came to the counter as soon as I walked in. I was taken to my room and was told it be about an 5-8 min wait which is understandable because I arrived at 2:52 and my appointment was for 3:00. (I typically arrive a couple mins before because some locations have you do paper work before hand) My massage therapist didn't end up arriving until 3:17 which is the reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars. Luckily I still received the full hour massage it was really good and relaxing. So relaxing that I actually fell asleep a couple times lol. To start, my massage therapist Willa asked how much pressure, to which I always rely "a lot" and rarely get. She did an exceptional job not only working out the tough knots with enough force to really make a difference, but also made sure to mix in more relaxing and soothing work.
