What you'll see CONSISTENTLY is that their commissioned sales people LIE LIE LIE LIE and there is NOTHING that your "warranty" will cover. NOTHING! Within the first two months, only one speaker worked. Within 4 more months, only one red strand of lights that remains on 24/7. Then the rust. Every single piece of their "marine grade" tin. You've got cabinet doors that go to nowhere. They're simply cutouts in the cheap resin body of the bar and that's it. They are incomplete. The grill lid fell off. And then bit by bit the bar started to crumble and continued to do so. Oh, and lest you think for a second that all this wasn't brought to their attention, think again. Doesn't matter. They won't do anything. This product is GARBAGE and honestly it really is a shame that they can't be stopped somehow. Class action law suit anyone? I'm 100% open.

If you have looked at my profile, you'll notice I love cooking on my Big Green Egg. I actually discovered Fogo Charcoal via Instagram (way back when I had an actual account). Anyhow, I have used a wide range of lump charcoals from various sources. Fogo Charcoal is the best brand I have found to date. It seems to burn longer and hotter. It also seems to last much longer than other brands which enables me to use it multiple times. Anyone who uses a Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe, or another similar smoker/cooker knows that sometimes you just want to fire up the grill for a quick steak or burgers. However, with cheaper brands of lump charcoal, you will use more coal than it is worth. With Fogo, I have started the grill three times or more for short cooks without adding charcoal. The initial cost of each bag may seem more expensive than another brand you can buy at other places but trust me, the quality is not the same. Even though Fogo is initially more expensive than some, it will last longer. The net cost per cook is actually less. I recently gave a bag to a friend as a birthday gift. I have kept track of shipping and it arrived in the Houston area within four days of ordering online with free shipping. I trust he will like his Fogo as much as I have enjoyed mine. Bottom Line: I have only ordered online and have always received my orders quickly. I am well pleased with the quality of the lump charcoal from Fogo and I think you will be too. They made a big hole in my kitchen cabinet to get gas through and left the hole open and mouses started getting into the house, not to say Palmetto bugs. I had to pay for the above repairs, since I have called several times and they have ignored my calls, or told me that they sent someone to my house and they could not see anything, I was not there when they came, what were they supposed to see. Earl, the owner, is a really nice guy and for years they did very good work. After a hurricane, they did the work to repair my pool and my deck. They installed pavers and an entirely new pump/filter system. This is when things began getting rough... The pavers look great, but there are places where they are uneven and wobbly after settling- not their fault. I get it. What IS an issue is that my pump was installed backwards so the drain on it is about 3 inches away from the motor. The DiamondBrite they installed never turned the correct color, and despite being only 6 years old it has already begun yellowing in spots. When I informed them about this issue, they said the pump didn't have to be up to code because it wasn't a "new" job, just a repair. As far as the DiamondBrite issue- they insist that despite me paying Twin Lakes for the work, that they have no responsibility because they used a subcontractor and I need to deal directly with the subcontractor for repairs or issues. Also, my filter Chamber was never bolted down to the ground as it should have been, and again I was told that it doesn't have to be up to a code because it's a repair. I don't care about Codes. I just wanted the job done properly. The prices have increased over the years from $113 monthly to $145 plus $45 2/3 times per year for stabilizer. No notification was sent regarding the price hikes that total almost a 50% increase since I began their service. Their Billing Department makes constant errors that resulted in me having to go in and pay in cash and wait for a signed receipt for the last 12-18 months of service. I requested a phone call from Earl, and never received a response from him despite months passing since the request. The most knowledgeable pool Tech person they had on staff was Ricky. He was injured and out of work for several months, and instead of standing by their employee who has been there well over a decade, his position was terminated and now he is gone. Despite the great start years ago, it seems that with Earl largely being absent from the business and in some form of semi-retirement, their service and their staff have devolved. At present, they are overpriced and not knowledgeable enough. I've begun taking care of my own pool and it is less than 30 minutes of work per week. It also costs less than 1/3 of what I was paying them. I truly hope that award reads this and fixes the issues because I really enjoy supporting Mom and Pop businesses-especially those that are Veteran owned and operated. I just couldn't justify continuing service with them after all these issues.
