The Chef swore by his grill and after speaking with the owners (Antonio and Alex) we decided this was the grill we needed. (One cannot get a better recommendation than from a Chef). Antonio helped us through the selection process and the grill was shipped Texas. Although this is a very robust grill, the installation process was easy thanks to their detailed instructions. After the installation there were some issues with some bricks that cracked in transit, and we had some delays getting the replacement bricks. However, Alex called us, took ownership of the problem and solved the issue. The most important thing is that Alex acknowledged the problem and fixed it. Very impressed.

You've got cabinet doors that go to nowhere. They're simply cutouts in the cheap resin body of the bar and that's it. They are incomplete. The grill lid fell off. And then bit by bit the bar started to crumble and continued to do so. Oh, and lest you think for a second that all this wasn't brought to their attention, think again. Doesn't matter. They won't do anything. This product is GARBAGE and honestly it really is a shame that they can't be stopped somehow. Class action law suit anyone? I'm 100% open.

If you have looked at my profile, you'll notice I love cooking on my Big Green Egg. I actually discovered Fogo Charcoal via Instagram (way back when I had an actual account). Anyhow, I have used a wide range of lump charcoals from various sources. Fogo Charcoal is the best brand I have found to date. It seems to burn longer and hotter. It also seems to last much longer than other brands which enables me to use it multiple times. Anyone who uses a Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe, or another similar smoker/cooker knows that sometimes you just want to fire up the grill for a quick steak or burgers. However, with cheaper brands of lump charcoal, you will use more coal than it is worth. With Fogo, I have started the grill three times or more for short cooks without adding charcoal. The initial cost of each bag may seem more expensive than another brand you can buy at other places but trust me, the quality is not the same. Even though Fogo is initially more expensive than some, it will last longer. The net cost per cook is actually less. I recently gave a bag to a friend as a birthday gift. I have kept track of shipping and it arrived in the Houston area within four days of ordering online with free shipping. I trust he will like his Fogo as much as I have enjoyed mine. Bottom Line: I have only ordered online and have always received my orders quickly. I am well pleased with the quality of the lump charcoal from Fogo and I think you will be too. In return, the Association I am a Board member on agreed to pay an invoice immediately and get the check to them, in full, soonest possible. We delivered the check and I received a text informing me they were just placing the order (June 29th, 5 days before July 4th). When I told them what Steve told me, they apologized for his miscommunication and said they cannot do that... but they were happy to get full payment. The worst part about their policies, and banks will confirm, a Homeowner's Association has basic, guaranteed funds as the Florida statute requires owners to pay their assessments... we receive some of the best bank loans, if ever needed...
