I've Been coming to Dr Levine for nearly 2 years as my primary doctor to take care of my blood pressure and monitor my health and well-being. Great doctor, good staff, always friendly and good bedside manner if you will! After transferring my records and getting set up in Winder , ongoing business and appointments are easy to maintain and check on my chart, which is my preferred method of working with doctors in the northeast Georgia area. Detected high cholesterol and my last visit recently then exerted myself working in the yard just two weeks ago and had a mild heart attack, but all the doctors involved including Dr Levine have been on point, got me back in action, hardly missed a beat after having emergency surgery at Braselton are now doing rehab at the hospital as well to ensure I recovered properly. I travel a good bit and maintaining my prescriptions is quite easy here as a team knows of my conditions and ensures that I'm always kept up on my meds, healthy, outgoing. I'm pretty active so we're on a slight relaxation and they helped me realign my dietary and nutritional goals so I can live another 25 years worry free. Highly recommend.!!! read more

She exhibited reactionary, intellectually-challenged behaviors with a lack of self-awareness to understand that potential patients are given next to nothing concerning the rules for new patients. Nothing in the so-called rules are stated that an automated cancellation has to be followed up with an actual phone call, probably because one has to assume that the system actually works. Since the system is overseen by individuals like his receptionist things do not work correctly. Not only did this person begin to berate me immediately when I inquired about a new appointment but she accused me of "yelling" at her just because I do not put up with that sort of thing, especially from subhumans like her. I am apparently not the only person who has experienced the rudeness of Dr. O'Neal's staff.

Also I didn't wait long to see a doctor. After running a few tests, they said they'd let me know the results via mail. Yes. That's right. Mail. No phone call saying what's wrong. Just snail mail. I brushed that off, thinking alright. It's your method. Just let me know. The letter came back saying that I looked perfectly healthy. Um...clearly I'm not if i went to see you. It's not like I went for a regular check up. If I had, then I could understand the letter as well as the message attached. However they didn't request any follow up to run different types of tests, to talk to me about my results, or anything. If you're looking for a regular check up, this would be a fine place to go. But if you're sick, I'd probably look elsewhere.

I started coming to this place September 2017 and realized early that they aren't any help. I had several problems that would cause a lot of pain with confirmed diagnosis. Each time I went there to get help they would test me for something unrelated to my pain. They weren't interested in helping me. Not only that they told me I'll be on medical leave and then after a surgery refused to signed the forms causing me to lose out on my leave pay. I'm lucky to have another doctor to fill out the leave forms or I wouldn't have a job right now. At my last appointment they were worried about bi-poplar which isn't my diagnosis at all but it's on my record for them and they never treated me for bi-polar but yet they were discussing something I don't have when I was there for my pain from surgery. I never did find out what's causing my pain. If you need a doctor that will help and listen you in your time of need don't go here! Worse experience ever.

And even though he is new to Athens I would highly recommend him. If you are suffering in pain, and you have dealt with other doctors that are not taking the time to diagnose the root problem then I suggest that you make an appointment and get in as quickly to his new state of the art facility. I have severe back problems with my cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar and I can say that I have got alot of relief. He has done Epidurals, Facet Ingections, RFA radio frequency Ablations to burn out the nervs causing pain. Whats impressive about his team, they have got approvals from my insurance company in 10 days. My other pain mgmt doctor took 2 yrs of absolutely not taking the time to fight for you.
