I came here to have all of my wedding weekend dresses tailored (a BIG blue ball gown, a fitted silk mermaid, and a midi tulle a-line) and the finished products were perfection. Not only did she work for weeks straight to make sure my ballgown was the perfect length (with dozens of layers of tulle and underskirt), but she expertly took in the bodice that was covered in lace appliqué. The pictures speak for themselves- the next time I have a big event, I will RUN not walk to Ari Tailoring

My daughter ordered not one but two $600 dresses from out of the country! They were way to small due to sizing difference. In a panic one week before prom I called Ari Tailoring. She immediately calmed me down and said to come in. They saved us! They worked some Cinderella magic and did a beautiful job. They basically had to redo the back of the entire dress. We are forever grateful to these women.

Hole they put in my shirt without telling me

They put a HOLE in my shirt. Just tried on my clothes and my shirt has a big HOLE in it now. There's no way they hung my shirt back up on the hanger and didn't notice they put a hole in my shirt and yet they chose to not tell me they made a mistake. I know for a fact they did it since I took pictures of all my clothes before dropping it off. Next, I asked for a skirt to show less thigh.... they didn't work on this piece AT ALL yet still charged me for it. If they couldn't do it they could have at least refunded me for that piece. I asked for a dress to be above the knee and it's still below my knee. Lastly, I asked them to take off a bit of material on a shirt since it was baggy and they did not do that but instead made it to where now I have a lot of side cleavage showing. 4 out of 4 items were a fail and now I have a hole in one of my tops. Just as someone stated below, honesty and integrity go along way, if they told me about the hole or how they didn't alter my skirt I would have respected their honesty. Not to mention this was the most expensive place Ive ever been too for tailoring, I was shocked when they told me the price. Do NOT come here.

Ms. Shahnaz is so friendly! I brought in my bridesmaid's dress and 2 pairs of yoga pants to get hemmed. Shahnaz pointed out how the dress was not one length all around. I forgot about pulling up the top of the dress at my shoulders until she mentioned it. Picked up my items a week later. She made the process easy and quick! I'll be coming back for any tailoring needs for sure. I'm amazed at how much of a difference a good tailor makes for clothes to look so much better on!

Shahnaz is the best! I took my wedding dress to her shop since she was close by, and she turned out to be a hidden GEM, I mean she worked some serious magic! I called her and she was so kind and informative. She was also extremely responsive via text. Her shop is located in a corner suite which was easy to find, and it is decorated beautifully with a floral wall with a mirror. I came in for a fitting, and she had it done in one try! Her prices are reasonable, and she was kind and honest about what she recommends. While I know everyone's experiences will ultimately be different, I personally think her quality is top tier. I trust her judgements & will happily come back to her for all my future tailoring needs. Thank you, Shahnaz!

Shahnaz replaced the lining making sure it was done according to my mother's vision of the dress.

After multiple attempts at communicating with those preferred vendors, there was 1 viable choice, but it was overpriced for what I needed and she ended up leaving me hanging on appointment availability anyway. Once that happened I took it upon myself to go on Yelp and find alternative solutions. Out of the next 2-3 choices I ventured out to, Nadia was the one I opted for because she was straight forward and was the only one who offered me 2 different bustle options - American (over) bustle or ballroom (under bustle). As a bonus, she was also 1/3 of the price of the wedding dress boutique's preferred vendor! Communications were all through Yelp messaging - clear cut for scheduling. Make sure for your fittings you always bring the shoes you'll be wearing for an accurate hem, etc. I opted for the ballroom bustle and Nadia numbered the attachments. During a subsequent fitting I had the MOB and MOH accompany me so they knew what to expect for doing the bustle on the day of the wedding. Forms of payment accepted are cash, card, and money sharing apps - I opted for Zelle.

My husband brought in his uniform, patches, and printed out the specific instructions for them to use. I go to pick his uniforms up a few days later and my husband tells me that it's been done wrong. They sewed his name patch ON the pocket flap when the instructions specified that it belongs ABOVE the pocket flap. No branch of the military has the name patch sewn on the actual flap which led me to believe that they in fact did not have experience with military uniforms. They also cut the name patch incorrectly so it's no longer usable. We had to order new ones which cost $20, and they were back ordered. Great. We ended up getting a partial refund from the business, but were not reimbursed for the name patches. I'm sure this business does well with dresses and suits, but I'd probably go somewhere else for military uniforms, especially when you brought in a physical copy of instructions on where the patches go, that they didn't even look at.
