Then 3 hours later, I get an email stating my appointment has been rescheduled for same day at 11 am. I tried to call the salon to figure out why the change occurred, and there was no answer. The voicemail said a text was better and you'd receive a quicker response, so I did that. But, no response. A little while later, I tried calling again and there was still no answer, so I left a voicemail this time and followed up on my text message. Still no response. I even called a third time, but to no avail. I figured I would still show up to my appointment at the originally scheduled 1:30 time, since they're open 9-5. When I arrived, the door was locked and no one was inside. I called again but obviously no one answered the phone. I even checked all social media platforms to see if possibly they closed for personal reasons or anything stating why no one was answering my call and no one was in the salon. Needless to say, there was no information provided on what was going on. I just wanted a simple, quick trim and was excited to try this place out since I just moved to the area and needed a new salon, and the reviews were great. But after this experience, I can't understand why or what happened. I will not be coming back here, I'm so disappointed.

More often than not, his schedule is already full, and I end up calling around to a handful of places I've used over the years. This time, nobody had any openings and I was definitely overdue for a haircut. I remembered taking my sons to the Supercuts in Haverhill years ago, so I gave them a call. To my surprise, they were able to get me in that same day, which was exactly what I needed. My stylist was friendly, easy to talk to, and gave me a great haircut. The price was very reasonable, but what stood out even more was the overall experience. The salon was spotless, everyone working there was welcoming and professional, and they went out of their way to be accommodating. I'll still do my best to plan ahead and get on my longtime barber's schedule, but when I need a haircut and can't wait, I won't hesitate to come back to Supercuts. Her saloon is unique in that it's on the 3rd floor of the building rather than being at street level. She does this as she doesn't rely on walk-ins and prefers the privacy the upper floor offers. (This is the same building with the Peddler's Daughter pub.)
