Loved the character of the different styles of shoes. You really need attitude and flair in pulling off a pair of John Fluevogs. If you decide on purchasing a pair, you'll be in the same ranks as Madonna, Beyonce, Alice Cooper, and Lady Gaga. Yes, the shoes are pricey, but you gotta remember: you're purchasing works of art. Staff were cool as cucumbers and didn't give us any attitude or side eye, considering we were there more as tourists than shoppers. In their lounge area a video plays that shows one of their workers hand crafting a pair of shoes. After watching the video, we went back to examine the shoes with new eyes. It's easier to appreciate the shoes when we saw all the hard work that went into making them. What we came out with was an education on the creation of footwear, and an appreciation of the artistry and creativity of John Fluevog. Upon arrival, you indicate so on your confirmation email - this will redirect you to a form that you must fill out so that the UO workers can identify you. There isss curbside pickup, but the pickup location is actually in the mall @ the 2nd floor entrance. I was greeted by a friendly worker who was wearing a mask and handed off my order to me. She did however ask for my full name associated with the purchase, again, thorough but no complaints here. Quick and easy experience overall!

Shame on them…read more Recap on what happened: My brother and I were exploring the Distillery District on a very hot day with a heat advisory in effect. After walking for a while, we were both exhausted and my brother had developed a blister, and I was feeling the effects of the heat. We stepped into John Fluevog Shoes not to shop, but simply to cool down and take care of the blister. Upon entering, we were greeted by a staff member at the front. We clearly informed her that we weren't browsing and we just needed a moment to cool off and tend to my brother's foot. She told us it was no problem, so we found a couple of chairs toward the back and quietly sat down to apply a bandage. Within just a few minutes, another staff member approached us and, without asking any questions, immediately told us to leave. I politely explained that we had already spoken to the woman at the front and had been given permission to sit for a moment. Her response: "I'm not going to ask you again." No discussion, just a demand to leave. It would've taken only a moment of basic communication to avoid this but clearly wasn't in her vocabulary.

I asked to try on a pair of boots and then waited patiently for him to get them, but instead he sat at the cash and spoke on his phone. Then he actually served two incoming customers while I continued to wait. At one point he even seemed to laugh at me and called over to say that it's a busy time and I should be patient. After about 20 minutes of patiently waiting, we left. I'm very disappointed as I have been a very devoted Fluevog customer over the years.

One particular dress caught our eye; it was intricately detailed and in perfect condition. Though it seemed overly ornate on the rack, it surprisingly looked better when tried on. However, it was designed for someone extremely small, like a true size 0 or double 0 in regular wear. My friend, being petite, couldn't even zip it up. Some other dresses were backless and may need a lot of alterations and fixes to make it fit perfectly. The staff there was pleasant and when I ask when they officially will close, they aren't sure... but told me until the last dress is sold. Ultimately, we didn't make a purchase. However, there were some deals on jewellery, veils, and other accessories if you want to check it out.

Not knowing what to expect, I booked an appointment online and showed up with my family the day of the initial consultation. Once you sign in at the front, you are ushered to wait for your consultant. Once your consultant comes to get you, you discuss styles that perhaps you are looking for, price point, etc. The consultant will bring you to the grand room filled with many many wedding dresses where you can take a look and show her which ones you'd like to try. Based on the dress styles you choose, the consultant may suggest other dresses for you. I was able to try on about 6-7 dresses. The dress I said yes to was the very first dress I had tried on which was recommended by the consultant. However, I had wanted to try on the other ones as well. The changing rooms at Kleinfelds are large, with plenty of seating space for your party to chill in. The consultants will be with you in the change room helping you into the dress and making sure to are fitted into the dresses with clips. When you decide to show your party with whom you came with, you stand up on a platform while facing many mirrors. And when you do say yes to that dress, there's celebrations! What a magical experience - even if you don't find your dress at Kleinfelds, definitely an experience to try.

Long story short, the customer service (I was helped by Evan) was second to none. I felt like a king here. Not pushy at all, great advice in terms of fit, and I felt very comfortable. After experiencing the worst experience of my life at Tom's Place (used car sales men who sells suits), I was so happy to be here. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size, otherwise, I would have gladly paid an extra $400 just to buy a brand name suit with Evan. And surprisingly, the selection of suits (and other clothes and accessories) were very good! Although, they do carry "out of season" clothes, they're just as good as in season, especially with the prices. Definitely recommend checking out!

The outlet is no exception to that rule, just that there appear to be a lot more gaudy units in stock. I happen to like gaudy dress furnishings so we paired well in that regard. Heartland is a crap mall to begin with and I don't think Harry's Outlet brings much of anything to draw me back here.

And since I was on a break at work the other day, I decided to go ahead and give it a go to see if there was anything cute. OH MY GOSH. There are animal shirts! Shirts with cats on them, sweaters with french bulldogs, tees with birds, silk dresses with cute cats...zomg!!! It was awesome. Their stuff is really cute! And at an insanely reasonable price. I bought 2 sweaters for $29 each. In terms of quality, they weren't bad at all. I'm sure that this stuff is not meant to last more than a season but it will be a fun season while it lasts! :) Will definitely come back to find some cute finds!

Now this Canadian brand has really exploded, with many styles going viral on the web. The quality of the clothes has noticeably depreciated while the prices steadily increase. But it remains one of the few shops that carries pieces that are small enough to fit me, and embodies the simultaneous sexy and sophisticated look I aspire to. I popped into this Queens st location with a group of ladies, and we rationalized our purchases by telling ourselves it costs less to shop at this brand in Canada than in the US. While I am slowly working my way away from fast fashion, I definitely pick up pieces here and there that I wear for years.

Ordered a coat, recieved a pair of jeans instead. No shipping label included. Spent 3 days trying to get a person on the line within customer service. The wait times on the phone are ludicrous. Well over 30 minutes. When i did the call back option on day 1, they called at 11:45pm EST. On day 3 of trying to reach someone, i finally do, am told what to do to initate the return process. I do what is required by Aritzia only to be told it is being sent to their "special investigations" department for review, which will take 3-7 business days before a decision will be made. A decision on what?? I timely provided all pictures and info necessary. This is a simple return and a request to be sent the product i ordered. I follow up 5 business days later to only recieve a email stating that the case # is being sent to this "special investigations" department again, which will take another 3 to 7 business days for a decision. I don't understand this company. Their fulfillment team clearly made an error...we all make mistakes. Its the lack of wanting to make the order correct is astounding and beyond time consuming for the customer. Would never recommend and will never order from Aritzia again.
