Reservations -easy, communication - great, value - outstanding. If you read my reviews you know I don't give five stars, that must be earned. We met at their shop and discovered we will be riding RAD Powerbikes. They were in great shape and we just did a couple adjustments. We ride bikes almost everyday day so we just took a couple laps of the parking lot to get comfortable and then we were off. On our 27 mile journey we went all over town, parks, golf courses, art installations and more. Bill was very good to explain what to expect and how to navigate each segment. We stopped a number of times for photos and Bill shared interesting tidbits about things we were seeing. Just the right balance of riding, talking, photos, etc. We even got a short hike in when we stopped at hole in the rock. On our ride, Bill led the way and we safely navigated trails and bike paths all over town, perhaps multiple towns. So glad we took a tour with a guide, lots of trails and lots to see and we never got lost. The sights are the sights and the trails are the trails. What made this a five star experience was the service and especially our guide. If you are looking for a great ride, give them a call and even ask for Bill...you won't be disappointed...

The QCOM is a really cool local landmark. I've been coming out for years to buy their special olive…read moreoil. Apart from the EVOO, we enjoy the garlic and vanilla bean flavors a lot, but they offer so many other varieties. One thing I love is they provide recipe cards with suggestions on how to use their olive oils, vinegars etc. to make awesome dishes. That's how we first discovered the incredible vanilla bean olive oil waffle recipe. Another great service they provide is the ability to sample most everything. The store features other local products like jams, honey, granola etc. They have the OliveSpa line of body care products also. So many great items to shop for! Many years ago we took the tour and learned all about how the olive oil is made. And you cannot forget the Del Piero Kitchen where you can come dine for breakfast, lunch, dinner or brunch. Oftentimes on weekends they have festivals or live music on the patio. It's just a happening place - definitely worth checking out.

They also have a wonderful Italian market with aisles full of specialty foods, plus the cutest kitchen knick-knacks and gifts -- perfect for the foodies in your life. The food is fresh and delicious, whether you enjoy it there or pick something up from the fridge to take home. When the weather is nice, it's lovely to sit outside under the olive trees, and during the summer there are plenty of comfortable indoor tables. It's the perfect little getaway for a couple of hours if you're in the area. The 40-minute olive oil education experience was so enriching and absolutely worth it. Just a quick note - summer is much quieter, but be prepared-- it gets really busy in the winter!
