When my boyfriend was in town, I took him here to stock a few things in the pantry and grab some items for snacks/dinner. Loved how they've expanded the selection over the years, and I'm always impressed with their products. They offer sampling products, which is helpful and I've purchased items I never thought to try thanks to that. A few items I've enjoyed thus far (others to be enjoyed as I run through items on hand): - skewers from case: a bit pricy for the size, but still really good! I added balsamic glaze to the caprese ones to make next level. - Salt, Pepper & Rosemary Focaccia: very delicious and perfect for dipping There are still plenty of items that I have to try once I finish the products I have on hand. I'll definitely visit both to stock the pantry, and maybe try the cafe another time. Beautiful outdoor area if you don't want to sit inside, and I imagine is great 8-9 months out of the year once we survive another hot Arizona summer. Check this out if in the area and you love olive products!

The Queen Creek Olive Mill is "Arizona's only working olive mill" and where their olives are milled into extra virgin olive oil used in foodstuffs and beauty products. A fun spot to visit! They offer a tour and a fun store that you can get olive oil, spreads, chocolate bars and tangential products. You can sample the olive oil but there's nothing to dip it in so you'd just be ingesting pure oil; it would have been nice to have a pretzel or bread to dip! I would have wanted everything to be made there but for example the pastas and pasta sauces weren't. And they sell other products from elsewhere. If I'm making a trip here, I'd want to buy things that are primarily made here. They also have several dining options (not sure how they're all related). I was pleased with the food we ordered: huge artichoke calzone (soft dough and good filling) for $22 and fish and chips (excellent fries), as well as a bakery that sells cupcakes, scones, cakes, cookies, brownies as well as gelato. We liked the cookies and scone though the latter didn't have the usual consistency of a scone). It was interesting that their Italian cookies were actually slightly cheaper purchased at the counter vs the already packaged box. They also sell cerreta individually wrapped candies. They have indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat there. Employees were very friendly. I'm sure it is a more pleasurable experience going when there aren't a lot of crowds, as it is a tourist spot and has overflow parking.

I originally went for a tour of the olive mill and that was amazing. Our tour guide Wolfgang was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. When we were done and looking through the store he would help talk through the different flavors and types of oils they carry/make. The food is delicious I had a canoli and a bite of pizza and I'd absolutely go back to try other things. They have a full bar. They were very busy as it was the last day for the sangria social and the day before Mother's Day but the outdoor seating is pretty vast and the musician was wonderul to listen to. I would highly recommend for a day date, time with friends or just a fun activity!

I am really not sure what happened to the Queen Creek Olive Mill. I feel devastated by the demise. What used to be a lively family run business has turned into a chaotic, overcrowded mess. The menu at Del Piero has expanded and the quality has gone down. The coffee shop inside left when their lease ended which is incredibly disappointing because their menu items were amazing! (Wonder why they left??) It was one of the highlights for me whenever I would go to the Olive Mill. The service is probably the most disappointing part. Our pizza came out incredibly undercooked - the cheese was barely melted and the pizza was didn't appear to even be warm. Before we touched it on the counter, we asked the staff if they could please bake it a few minutes longer to warm and crisp it up and brown the cheese little. We were met with resistance and told they cannot put a pizza back in the oven even if it has not been touched on the counter. They proceeded to argue with us that because the pizza wasn't "raw", they wouldn't be able to remake it either. We eventually found a manager who was willing to remake the pizza for us, which we didn't love because we didn't want to waste the first one accepted this as a resolution to the issue. But to have to argue with staff - that's not right. We signed up for an olive oil 101 class and were told to meet outside at the meeting spot a few minutes before the start time of the class. There was a large group wearing badges who yelled at us and told us they were on a private tour and we could not join them. When I asked for a manager inside, the manager told me they were not sure why extra tickets for that tour were sold because it was sold out. The Olive Mill has become Very disorderly and chaotic. Seems their growth is happening very quickly and their training and customer service cannot keep up. I used to recommend the Olive Mill whenever a friend would come into town to visit or people would ask for ideas of local activities. I will not be recommending the Olive Mill anymore :(

The Olive mill itself is super fun and full of shopping, activities, and food. The food my party ordered was sub par. I had the pulled pork sandwich.

This place needs its own zip code; it's huge!! As you enter the large dirt parking lot, there's an abundance of places to park. We came in on a Friday night so it was a little crowded however, the place itself didn't feel crowded. Walked inside, grabbed a menu, placed an order with a friendly staff member at the counter. We were given a buzzer and looked for a table to sit inside. Tables are spaced nicely and it was very clean and well maintained inside. There's a place to order alcoholic beverages. There's a nice selection of wine, beer, cider and cocktails as well as nonalcoholic beverages. Our buzzer went off and got our food which was so fresh and delicious!! After we were done, we decided to get some gelato and an additional order of the stuffed dates-yum!! We decided to sit outside. The area is decorated with twinkle lights and there was live music playing. There are so many nooks and areas to sit and enjoy outside....overall, it was a delightful experience from the moment we entered to the time we left. It was is so nice to see that there is a place that can accommodate young families, couples, include a wedding towards the back area and we even got to see a few prom girls all dressed up. This place is just beautiful!!

We were here on a Sunday right before they were about to close. We just wanted to check it out before dinner. The outdoor picnic area is chill and perfect for sitting down and taking a break. Inside the store, there are lots of olive oil flavors, along with a big selection of balsamic vinegars. They also sell beauty products made with olive oil, which are fun to browse. On top of that, they have different flavors of sangria and a sweet section with cookies and brownies. We ended up getting the basil olive oil and also a soap made with olive oil. There are two restaurants on-site, Del Piero Kitchen and Di Oliva. They also offer an Olive Oil Tour 101 if you're interested in learning more about how olive oil is made. It's a really easy, relaxing place to hang out, snack, sip some wine, and enjoy the moment.

I just went here during the olive festival they were having, which I was unaware about while planning my visit. That is definitely altering my perception of what a usual visit here would be, but I mention that aspect because I feel like it made my experience that much better. There's a lot to learn here--I did the olive oil 101 tour. It was about an hour. It can be tightened up a little, because there were a lot of non-sequiturs our tour guide went on that made it feel like it dragged. I think the best part of the tour was the time outside, the video, and the tasting. Apparently, there is also a train tour, but high winds closed that one down for the day. For me, the food and shopping options were the highlight. I ordered the Caprese del Piero sandwich, the spiked prickly pear lemonade, and pistachio and vanilla chip cannolis. There isn't anything to say here except about how good all the food was. Before you leave, make sure to grab some olive oil for your own kitchen to attempt to replicate some of the great food.

Every time we stop in at QCOM, it's always a pleasure! Their olive oils are some of the best I've ever tasted. I literally drive over an hour each way just so I can stock up on their Meyer Lemon Olive Oil. I know I can get it shipped, but then I can't try all the different olive oils, spreads, and balsamics. Definitely a bonus when shopping in person!

Tapas's plate $10.58. Good for tasting not for a meal.

(No Internet available anymore for customers so I couldn't check in which used to get you a free tour). Definitely a must do for people wanting to experience an outdoor local farm.\Orchard. Beautiful grounds, peaceful, and wonderful market. In my opinion, though prices for the food are a little high. But the quality here is definitely top notch. You can go through the store and taste all the balsamic vinegar's and oils. The tour is informative and teaches you how to pick quality products. This is about my sixth time here and I brought friends and they just loved it. Even though it's hot out it's so shady and they use misters so it's really doable. Come and enjoy. Update: the business manager asked me what she could do to make it a five star review? Give us the Internet! Then we can check in on yelp and get our free tour.

I love all the new additions! Additional food trucks, more covered seating, etc.. The menu has really improved although I would love if there were more vegan options. There's plenty of vegetarian, but not much without dairy. The live music is great especially the Bruised Reeds. They played on Valentine's Day and we were super impressed with their talent. Also, I was impressed with how quickly our food came out. They were crazy busy, but the service was very efficient.

Great night out Saturday night - pizza and live music great atmosphere and after pizza dessert and coffee outside under the lights Service is always amazing and staff is friendly and easy to talk to always have a good time - we ended up getting cookies cupcakes and coffee after pizza and left full and relaxed a great Saturday night out

    Farmer's wife omelette and Giovanni

A Sunday at 1000 My experience was okay. I would still come back to give them another shot. It's easy to find Plenty of parking but mostly in dirt so very dusty. They having charging station for teslas. A great amount of outside seating and limited inside seating. They had limited warmers and fire pits in January. Bench like tables. We found seating easily. Definitely started to get crowded by noon Service was friendly enough. The farmer's wife omelette was okay I wish they had an option to add meat because the other omelette they have, has a ton of meat, but no veggies and this one has a ton of veggies and no meat. I would love a combination of the two. By the time I was eating my food outside, the food started to get cold. They only offered jam with the other omelette and you have to remember to grab your butter. So toast was a little tough and dry. The coffee did not have enough body and was too watery, I couldn't finish it. I also wasn't given direction where to fill up my cup. The orange juice was very delicious, not too tart, not too sweet, tasted extremely fresh The Giovanni sandwich was a sandwich, nothing special, the coleslaw was good. The bread was very soft and yummy but I would get that with a different food option. My friend got the pulled pork and green chile and she seemed underwhelmed. It was extremely small for an adult meal and wasn't visually appealing. The inside feels very busy and crowded with their set up of aisle of things. Different options of olive oil that is cool but they don't put any bread out for you to try it with.

We hit five different places in Old Town Scottsdale and definitely came away with our heads full of additional knowledge and our stomachs full of delicious food. It should come as no surprise that Lindsey is a teacher given the attention to detail and history in the information that she shared, and didn't mind one bit when I took some of the wind out of her sails with the Milwaukee connection that one of our steps--AZ88--had with a popular eatery back home. The amount of walking wasn't too much for my mom (recovering from knee surgery), and I cannot appreciate enough that the company didn't cancel the tour despite it just being the two of us on the tour with Lindsey. I also enjoyed that she was a true local, being on a first name-basis with much of the staff at the stops we made, driving home the comments she shared about being a local resident. The stops were varied from chips and salsa to bacon-wrapped water chestnuts, from elote to wine and cheese. And any tour that ends with gelato has to be good!
