Dr Wong has been a part of my care for the last 25 years. His dedication to us patients is absolutely phenomenal. He tests for things you'd never think you had, example with me it was for a latex allergy back before the diagnosis was more common then thought. This location, one of many that's spread out across the valley, is a great location. It's kept clean and organized and the front desk staff is professional. They know me by first name so when they see me enter I don't have to sign in, convenient to say the least. Parking is absolutely horrible since there a very limited amount of parking spots available so be prepared to have a lil hard time with parking. Theres only 2 spots for handicap. Disabled parking spots aren't really set up for van lifts. The spots are very tight and narrow There approximately 12 in total and no other businesses to provide parking. Seating within this location is plentiful and kept cool/warm depending on the season. Allergy testing isn't so bad here or else I've toughened up. Haha Bathroom is unisex and will fit my wheelchair but it too is awfully tight. Move ability is a bit of a challenge but doable or at least in my case. A lot of wiggling. Lol Appts go pretty fast compared to other doctors office so being on time is pretty important. I believe there is a fee for no shows which is common anymore, especially since this a specialty. The practices are all training of new allergist but they will ask you first if it's ok to allow the students in the exam room or not. Oddly the practice has a brother team within it so be ready to get a bit confused at first on who's who but either Dr Wongs are great and very friendly. I believe they both have been on a few magazines for their stellar care and paying attention to us patients. They do cater to our young ones in hopes they can help curve the fear of injections aka needle phobia's. There is a growing anti injections or allergy shots be it a phenomenon so I'll let you make ur own decisions on your care. Perhaps of your looking at this review your not. 4 star because I very rarely give 5's. Since there's no 4 1-2. Reasons being parking issue and bathroom size. Please note that this review is for only the downtown/phoenix location and not the others. Finding this office can be a bit confusing if it's your first few times coming here. I found a Doctor Who genuinely cares. Who listens. Who makes me feel like they're invested in my care. Everyone from reception, to doctors assistant, to Dr Rishi are amazing humans. Kind, compassionate, warm, welcoming. After horrible service from other clinics around the Valley, I was in tears at how kind and intentional the service was here. This place is the worst. I had an appointment scheduled on a Friday. A couple weeks before the appointment, Cambry called to say the doctor would be out of the office so a new appointment would be necessary. We finally were able to reschedule an alternative a couple weeks later. Just now, Cambry called again to say the provider would not be in the office so the appointment needs to be rescheduled. I have two kids to take in so I have to arrange my work schedule to be available to take them to the appointment so having them call to keep rescheduling is ridiculous. They have no concern about the schedule of their patients. That is incredibly rude! read more

Often times they close their office impromptu and don't update their shot hours online. You can't call anyone ahead either because there's only one number for all offices. You are likely to be on the phone 30-90 minutes before you even get through to anyone, including to make appointments. Otherwise, the doctor at the San Tan location was excellent and the people at the clinic in Phoenix are nice. read more

I don't always give 5 star reviews however I just have to rave about this office. Dr Rishi couldn't have been nicer. I've had terrible coughing fits for years and issues with my throat. All along I thought it was allergies until I came to Dr Rishi and all tests were negative. He referred me to an incredible ENT in Scottsdale who diagnosed me with issues in my esophagus and stomach. I now have to see a gastroenterologist. Dr Rishi had a letter typed up for me because I now have to see a gastroenterologist for this problem. He carefully explained what the ENT had recommended. It saved me from having to explain the situation. The staff is very nice and you will feel right at home here. Dr Rishi has the best bedside manner. read more

I've been taking one of my nanny kids here for a year, and we have figured out the quirks. We always call ahead to make sure they are open (days closed can seem random FYI) and we don't wait Til the end of the day to go. Usually there is not a long wait, just the standard shot given typically within 5 min of arrival and the 30 min wait post shot to be sure there's no reaction. The receptionist has been here every time and she's very friendly. They got new wifi and it works better than the last time. The waiting room has a nice sized tv for waiting children and there are plenty of magazines. The bathroom is nice and clean. For an allergy place, I can't think of what else you could ask for. read more

Dr. Reeder (who I believe is new to this office) was wonderful. He was thorough and took time to listen to all of my symptoms as well as answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed. He understood my concerns and went over different approaches to treatment. He was quite personable and easy to talk to. I left feeling quite confident entrusting him with my care. read more

I've been going here for two years, but only started seeing them more than once a year to start allergy shots this past April. The actual doctors are good, not great but good enough for me not to search elsewhere. The staff however is abysmal. They regularly cancel appointments or allergy injection hours without notice, lose paperwork and in one case demanded payment and attempted to deny treatment for billing they never actually sent me. A great example, I decided to start allergy shots in April. They were supposed to start the proces immediately, but only started the process when I follow-up with them in May wondering why I hadn't been charged for it yet. Once they ordered my serum for my allergy shots in May I was told to wait a month. In late June, 6 weeks later, I called and they said they weren't sure, they had no record of my serum yet. Then they confirmed and made my appointment to start. Which they lost when I went in. In the less then 3 months I've been getting shots the "open hours" for shots have been altered without notice 3 times. Once I finish my allergy shots I'm leaving and never looking back. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Duane Wong for 26 years. It started off being my son that was treated. He was a year old and had some major problems with his immune system. Under the advisement of the doctor we followed his advice. It was a long two years but his expertise was point on. Through all the infections and weird anomalies that come with an immune deficiency we trusted dr. Wong to guide us through. My son now has no problems and is a US Marine. You would never know that now! When he started off so sick and struggling to live. After this I had some medical complications myself. Trusting in the doctor so much I returned to him asking for his expertise once again. With very little testing he was able to quickly diagnose the immune deficiency I have and put me on the course of my new normal. Although there's not a cure, the treatment they provided allowed me to live the most normal life possible. I will be forever grateful for this doctor. I trusted him with my life and the life of my son. read more

Dr.s Wong & Wong are excellent medical providers. They are committed to solving problems, not just 'practice to the standard'. For four decades I suffered intermittent sinus issues and more or less constant sinusitis. Within six months of having Dr. D. Wong work on the problem, viola'....no more congestion, no more sinusitis. To see all the comments here about office hours, wait times, parking...and so forth, makes me wonder what some of these people are here for. The office and practice is fine. But even if it were not, if it were a sty that I had to wait hours for in the rain....the medical results would be worth it. Highly recommended! read more

Doctor Risi is one of the best doctors I've ever seen Her willingness and ability to listen to her patient sets her apart. I always feel that I have been heard and that she addresses my concerns. After a second time of having an issue where my child is having a reaction and I can't get a hold of anyone. I have left messages and they don't call back. They weren't curious if my child lived through the ordeal or not. I would definitely stay away if you have allergies. I didn't know that my daughter's were that serious until she couldn't breath and ended up in the hospital. I need an allergist that cares about my kids health. read more

I'm concerned. I honestly feel that the Nurse Practitioner saw me as another complaining patient. Her bedside manner wasn't one of someone who loved her job or people. I specifically asked for allergy testing, because I've had allergies all my life and they change. I've had hives for weeks... It was suggested I test for auto immune diseases instead. I haven't done the tests because I feel I may have an answer and I called a week ago for help. I've not yet gotten a return call. I've been a patient for 7+ years and if this was my first experience, I wouldn't go back. read more

When I first came to them it was because I was having an allergic reaction to a sunscreen, make-up, and walnut depending on brand. I told them upfront that this was the reason I was coming to them. They said they could determine what I was allergic to, at no time did they say they may not be able to determine the cause of my allergy. After the patch test I had a great deal of itching for the first day and then no itching, at the reveal 2 days later I had no signs of allergy, so I asked about the intense itching, they said they don't test for immediate reaction only for delayed reaction :O Then I had the scratch test which determined the degree of allergy to certain items, but afterwards asked when they would be able to determine what is causing my hives when I put on sunscreen and make-up, the response was that they don't do that kind of testing, they just do generic testing. For my allergy I would have to go someplace like the mayo clinic :O So imagine my surprise when I got a bill for $914!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O $1k for NOTHING! And never was I told up front that this was going to cost me a fortune, much less that they would not help me find the reason for the allergy. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR read more

My 2 year old son started going there about 9 months ago. At first everything was fine. The Dr's were nice and seemed knowledgeable. We did the skin test for allergies and my first red flag should have been when the actual DR did not read the test! It was the assistant and she had to call someone else in to determine the test. They both seemed unsure but I went with it. I was told to use a nose spray and zyrtec as a back up. My sons nose wouls get so clogged with the spray and I kept telling them this. They just kept saying to keep using it. Then I was told he would feel great around Christmas when the pollen count was low and he was miserable! I told them this and it was just "oh ok". Nothing of "hmm strange.. lets be proactive and maybe run another test to see if he may be allergic to something else". I kept bringing up doing more tests and was always told "hmm maybe later." Always so unsure! Now still using the nose spray and my son has had 2 sinus infections. I am so tired of being told to use the nose spray! I have called and called to talk to the Dr and I keep getting the run around from the assistant. I was even told today that the Dr said that nothing further could be done and to keep using the spray. I AM FED UP! I feel like we are just a number and the Dr really doesn't care to be proactive and try to get to the bottom of my sons problem. Being the Dr, he should be running the show.. I keep on having to bring up something to try. And everytime I call I have to wait on hold for at least 10 minutes. Everyone is much too busy to help. And I was supposed to get a call back today to get my son in ASAP and no one ever called! My sees is starting to see Valley ENT for some ear infections and I learned today that they assess allergies as well. We love going to this Dr and will be transferring everything to that office. THEY CARE AND WANT TO GET TO THE ROOT OF THINGS!!!!! read more

My daughters physician recommend we go here for some testing to see why she was having trouble breathing. Went over here on 04/07, the doctor advised me my daughter DID NOT have asthma but, she is allergic to every tree, plant and type of grass in the state of AZ. Due to the flare ups and unexpected episodes the school nurse has called me and requested I come and get her because the hand inhaler was not helping and the nebulizer machine can not be brought to school. My job asked for me to have them fill out some paper stating that she has this issue and its unknown when a flare up may occur in case I have to leave unexpectedly. Today I have spoken with a nurse the nurses manager and the director to be provided different information each time. Non whom are a doctor but, all stated to me that my daughter has asthma. If that's not the word part. I was then told well she shouldn't be having these issues and if so it should not be more than once or twice a month. So we will only be able to advise your employer that it may occur once or twice a month. To place me in a position to have to make a choice between my child and my job is just as bad as all of the different information. I am a very disappointed with the service being provided by the staff here. I have contacted my child's primary physician to see if he can refer us elsewhere. This has been the worse experience with medical personal that I have ever had. I refuse to pay for this type of service read more
