Display cases and shelves full of pre-built sets, minifigs and specialty pieces. There are plenty of retired sets. too. Our favorite at all BAM stores is their multiple bulk tables. It is a fantastic resource for finding miscellaneous Lego pieces that you need for whatever you are building. I know many people who have gotten the instructions for a set and built the entire thing from bulk. The workers are very knowledgeable and willing to help if you have questions or just let you browse their terrific selection. Many customers bring in sets from home and the staff will value them and make an offer in trade or cash. It's a cyclical way to always have a nice inventory. There are also pre-built minifigs or build-your-own, too. Kind of nice to build a minifig that looks like you or means something personal to you. If you're in the area, definitely check this store out.

I saw a post on Facebook about their grand opening and I'm always a sucker for new small businesses openings in Gilbert. Literally makes me so excited... so I was looking forward to grand opening weekend! Location: it's tucked inside the outdoor shops on Gilbert Road and Juniper just north of downtown Gilbert. The parking can kinda be a pain so just be prepared in case they're busy to park in the parking under the building. THE TOY Selection: So many toys to choose from! These are not name brand that I can see but I didn't mind. Reminded me of shopping at Five Below but more variety and assortment. Lots and lots of stocking stuffers just in time for Christmas. He is pretty savvy with trendy toys so if you've seen something trending on TikTok he might have it. And if not ask him if they will ever be on order. My 9 year old son was ecstatic with all of the toys, fidgets, and even the remote cars. I love that they have opened toys out for kids (or adults) to test out. Customer Service: The customer service was great! My son can be a little obnoxious and he was so patient with him. I even asked if they had a particular trending toy and he stated they were going to get it in order. So looking forward to coming back for that! He was helpful with all of my questions and gave any insight he could on any of the toys. Value: I could order most of all of this stuff on Amazon BUT purchasing it in person sometimes even CHEAPER than Amazon while supporting a local business wins me every time. They get excited when I say I want to open my blind box toys in the store to see what I got, and get excited when I get cool stuff, and that's cool to me). Lulubell Toy Bodega is a bewitching, quaint shop seated on a tiny main road running parallel to downtown. It's closer to a more industrial area so unless you know it's there or you're observant while driving, you can easily pass it without knowing it exists. I'm not a collectible toy connoisseur but I don't think it's entirely unreasonable pricing considering the people who collect these toys are probably willing to drop that kind of cash. Personally, I'm a fan of their Blind Box toys, the Munny dolls and of course, the plush Domo dolls. Oh, but that's not all.... Lulubell Toy Bodega is a mecca for local artists. They frequently host shows where artists can display their art on their beautiful white walls. This not only enables artists to show their work to a public audience in a more professional manner but it also brings the community together. In other words, it gets those downtown kids out of the bars and into something more meaningful. The owners are so immersed in their customers that I don't actually know who they are; they blend in with everyone else at the shop! (I'll meet you someday Amy & Luke!) Lulubell Toy Bodega is, without a doubt, one of the best businesses in all of Tucson. So much so that I returned the very next day to pick up additional miniatures and supplies.
