When I was outside in the parking lot I had talked to some people to find out if they were always such assholes.... And as I went back in to get my stuff I was bombarded by verbals trying to instigate some sort of caddy-like conversations with the manager. I engage once and asked her to stop aggressing me and I left later I was arrested for disorderly conduct. I'd already served a damn prison and I have no record. He not only corrected the entire case but did not appear to my court date where I was found guilty by default and charged maximum sentence. No I would not recommend this man in any way shape or form and I believe that he was highly racist because one of the laundromat attendants thought that if she said that someone said I said the word Mexican that it would make her case stronger and apparently he agreed this attorney Melina by completely neglecting my case and my defense. he did not make me aware of my court date did not remind me did not appear in my stud showing that I was unable to be reached for reasons beyond my control or any other defense whatsoever and he allowed for a conviction to go through without a trial or argument. And after that he just let it sit for sentencing and never contacted me until I contacted the court and requested a file who said that I could not get any access to my case information because I had an attorney which is also insane. The best way to be a winner in this crazy justice system is to let Edwin handle it. I had a dui case with multiple charges. My initial lawyer wanted me to take a plea bargain and insisted on it. He knew from the start I was in it to win it but after he had my money he was lazy and looking for the easy way out. I fired him and hired Edwin and I wish I did from the start.
