I am new to the world of facial aesthetic enhancements. I went to AFP to see what, if anything, could be done about my facial asymmetry. Aging sucks and the loss of collagen in the face makes any issue look worse. I've always said I would NEVER get fillers or Botox etc. just because of how unnatural it makes people look. And then there's Dr. Magee. She listened to my concerns, looked at my face and explained what she believed was the best approach. She explained the why and how of her recommendations and I decided to take a chance and go with it. Oh my goodness! I still look like me but dialed back about 10 years. It's amazing. I had no idea these enhancements could look so natural! She also sculpted my lips back to where they were before perimenopause! So natural looking and I feel amazing approaching my 50th birthday. As for the rest of the staff, everyone is really kind, informative and thorough. The office is nice and organized, rooms are clean and overall the experience has been really good. What a pleasant experience! I'd like to point out that this is my first time getting any sort to professional, facial treatment. I have been interested in facial/skin care for a while now, and it was about time I started looking into ways to improve my routine. The moment I walked in, I was greeted almost immediately. I noticed that the front waiting room, despite being more of doctor's office, felt more like a spa than anything else. My appointment was started promptly, where they explained fully the facial I was about to receive, and what would be following it. Sheena, my aesthetician for the day, and she was fantastic. She was quite exuberant, and was so pleasant to interact with. She also explained each step of my facial, which product she was using, and how each one works. I will say the there is a portion of extraction, while a bit uncomfortable, was definitely necessary. After the treatment was done, my face felt so fresh, light, & light, and also had such a glow to it. Following the treatment, I spoke with Shea who also explained a little further in detail about different methods/treatments for continued care. I was then taken to a room to get a Visia Skin Analysis, which shows variations in the skin, any particular areas of opportunity, and ways to prevent certain forms of damage. Overall, my experience was great. There was so much ease in talking with the staff, especially if there was anything I was interested in, they listened and then elaborated in detail. If you want a face lift go somewhere else. This place is for skin enhancements, they spend a lot of time and your money on additives and procedures (light and laser therapy etc.) which I paid for when actually I wanted an improvement to winkles along with rhinoplasty. After this 'facelift' I had a long recovery and when my significant others viewed my face 1. they saw no improvement 2. they were very concerned because my face had a lip drooping (I lost sensitivity and control) making my face look like I had a partial stroke. At first this place was alright . They took a bunch of pics and suggested a lot of different things I regret.. very expensive, not to mention super painful . I got the CO2 laser renewal . Although I had what they said was gas for the pain I did not feel any gas and only pain.. They burned my face neck and eye lids without pain killers . It was awful . Then dr Magee , aka dr. Kevorkian... was super rough with lip filler . I paid over 600 for lip filler alone .. The first 2 times I got the filler it was 250 , the last time 600 . TOTAL INFLATION... Painful and expensive. Slick sales and lack of Protocols! I purchased products and services on June 13, 2023. I received a burn to my neck on June 28, 2023 visit from the BTL skin tightening by the operator. I have disputed their services through numerous visits and text messages with Ms. Brown. The skin care products I was induced to purchasing were not appropriate for my sensitive skin. They stated they would not refund the amount of $399 for the skin care products and would not take back the products. Furthermore, their own protocols were not adhered to. On July 7, 2023, after the services were rendered I was informed that I needed to create a portal. I never received my 2-week check-up to discuss the results. The results were minimal at best, not the results I purchased and was informed I would receive. The July 11, 2023 visit with Ms. Brown, was supposed to be with Dr. McGee, but was changed to a consult with Brown. I never was seen by Dr. Taghizadeah to discuss. It was then I was informed that at least one vial was not used but I paid for. They offered to return 1/2 of what I paid for to settle. The documents depicting my facial injection sight are inaccurate and lack the appropriate information as to which products were used, and the amount used at which injection site. The label for the product I purchased is not adhered to the page with the other two labels. They still would not tell me exactly what the products were used, just a "Luxury package". They refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and try to say I rescheduled appointments. I did not. I am new to the facial injections and did not know any better, even with the research I did, I was misguided, upsold, and did not receive what I paid for. They refuse to make the corrections, but after this, how can I trust them to do the right thing? read more

What a great experience, I had a cryo treatment. I was welcomed with a smile by friendly staff, all willing to help with a hamstring injury. Complete bait and switch. The prices are extremely high as they have a plastic surgeon. I never saw him once in the several visits to the office. I went in for blephorplasty consultation for my under eye bags. I met with the coordinator who listened to my concerns and created a treatment plan. Red flag #1. Never go to a place where the person touching your face is not apart of the treatment plan. I was naive to think they knew what they were doing. The coordinator is a great sales person. He makes you feel like he knows what you are talking about and makes you feel like they will help. I went there July- Sept, plenty of time to "let the filler set" and for them to correct the problem. The coordinator says I don't need the surgery but filler will work instead. My secondary condition was my skin, I wanted a more even tone. He comes up with a filler and 5 facial plan. He also told me to stop using my dermatologist prescribed topical creams and had me buy 3 of their products. Immediately I break out due to the products and the discontinuation of my prescribed creams. Red flag #2, these coordinators are not nurses or doctors. Why are they doing treatment plans? They are great sales people. They sell you on what the treatments can do and the results you will have. Come to find out, the actual treatments do not work and it is a complete bait and switch. Now the filler, first the injector is a nurse so you can literally get the same treatments elsewhere for way less money. Then she injects me with Bellafill, a long lasting, heavy filler. This was way too harsh for my situation, I did not know that at the time. This was my first injectable. (None of this was explained to me, another red flag, and there were no other filler options). The results were my bags were even worse and she did not inject deep enough so the veins came to the surface creating dark circles under my eyes in addition to the protruding bags. I voiced my concerns to the coordinator who had me come in early before my next facial appointment. I did not speak with him but a different lady that I had never seen or spoken with before. I re explained everything and that the results are not there and I looked worse then before. She listened actively, apologized and said they would get the results I wanted before sending me off to my facial. Long story short, I have been to another nurse to fix the damage this place did to my under eyes. I spent over $2000 and they never fixed the problem. The filler created more under eye bags because of poor placement, dark circles and a concave next to my nose. They have no idea what they are doing and it will cost you three times the normal filler amount. Beware, Arizona Facial Plastics is over promising and under delivering. It'll cost you your face, time and a ton of money. I have sown another $1000 dollars to get what they did corrected. Please stay away from this place. They will not tell you that they are not qualified to do tear trough and you will waste money and time like I did. read more

This was my first time getting anything done. I wanted a small amount of filler in my cheeks, their salesperson would not listen and insisted on upselling me. I foolishly agreed. Then the unfriendly injector botched and disfigured my under eye with filler and dissolver. Went back several times and all they would do is take pics and tell me they do not see what I see. I had two services at this facility, both with Dr. Magee. I have never seen a Dr T which is the only doctor listed on the website. During my consultation for Blepharoplasty, I decided to get some Botox to start, just forehead eye area. I had good results, price was in line at $150. At my second appointment about 3 months later, I wanted a touch up of Botox and to discuss other areas that I might benefit. Dr. M discussed the good results you can get around the mouth, and suggested we expand out in the forehead to get more eye lid lift. She quoted me $380, which was more than double and not many more units than before. I typically don't need much because my forehead is small and takes easily. I was a bit surprised by the cost, but decided to proceed anyways to take a chance at more results. After two weeks, I didn't see any additional results in my eye area, and my mouth area gained the odd uneven dimple-like dents as seen in my photo. I did not like it at all and decided to discuss with Dr Magee at my follow up appointment today. I was very disappointed that she seemed to pretty much tell me oh sorry that's just the results you get. After telling her I'm not happy with the results and paying more than double was unexplainable (inflation?) she still didn't offer anything other than doing more evasive procedures. I've been a little suspect of their approach from the beginning (sales persons does the consult, then doc swoops in). I am disappointed the relationship went this way, especially over something that could have been fixed by simply offering some kind of option. Insane. Absolutely insane. Went here for a consultation for a rhinoplasty and met with a non medically trained assistant Shay. Shay came in and played around with the computer making changes. I told him I wanted something very natural that straightened my nose and defined the tip and absolutely didn't have a slope. Although I knew it didn't matter too much because this is a conversation I should have with the doctor. Shea did a simulation of an upturned nose abs I said I absolutely didn't like that at all abs he took offense to this and said because I'm very specific I should just speak with the doctor, which is fine, I would prefer to speak with the doctor and I was under the impression I was going to speak with the doctor anyways. I did tell him that I did not appreciate his saying I'm very specific, of course anyone having surgery to their face will have preferences. I'm not just going in to say please do whatever your preference is. Of course there are limitations but people have an idea of what they generally want and don't. Like, I don't want a bunny slope nose or an upturned tip. After telling him this he got loud and sarcastic saying "I don't think you heard me correctly" abs I said no I did you said I'm very specific. I just said I want to have my nose straight and am not looking to have additional things like a slope or an upturned típ. I don't think that makes me specific or difficult. And he said in his 12 years experience and I said yes but the doctor would know what is possible to be done because it's his hand doing the surgery and you don't have that medication experience. In no way was this presented in a way that wasn't objective and was not delivered as an insult or a dig. In fact, I tried to present my feelings in a way that would be least offensive and considerate of Shea's feelings. Only the doctor really knows what they can do. He began saying I had to leave and sarcastically that I'm a wonderful person. I told him to please calm down and act professionally and he shouted in the lobby that I attacked him in the room. WHAT IN THE NAME OF JESUS? I was like no, I just told you I didn't appreciate you saying I was overly specific for saying I did not like the upturned nose. He then got in my face and told me to leave the office, that I was not welcome and that he would call the police. Literally insane. It's a huge pity because this doctor was my first choice for the surgery and I sincerely hope that Shay the assistant (with absolutely no medical training) is not indicative of the doctors work and professionalism because it seems the doctor has impeccable training. I take my health seriously and when I go in for a medical consultation. Dr Borsand should quit and find something better to do. Because plastic surgery is not his skill. He completely butchered my nutsack. He told me it was one of the easiest surgeries to do and I would be back on my feet in a few days and completely healed after a few weeks. I had a scrotum reduction because my skin sagged pretty bad. I told him how I wanted it to look in the end and I got nothing of the such. I paid in full before the surgery and signed a million papers. He said the scar would be minimal. He completely did the surgery in another direction than what he explained to me. He cut all the way from below my penis and went all the way to my butthole. I was in pain for 6 months and still after one year I feel a little off. For example the scar line will hurt when stretched. He said I had a lot more skin than expected and he had to do what he had to do. More like he Messed up and had to correct it the best way possible. At this point my only option to fix it is NOTHING! You can't add skin to make it look better. The damage is done. Maybe when I'm 80 the skin will sag down and be a little better. I'm 35 now. What a jerk for taking on this surgery with no skills or true training in this department. I later researched and found out he's not certified in this type of surgery. read more

Shea at Arizona Facial Plastics, is who I initially was scheduled with. He sells the products hard like a used cars salesman. Then he leaves and never comes back to answer questions and then moves on to another to sell. A couple weeks later I am scheduled for an appt., he shuns away quickly after I say hello and ignores my presence. Weird to say the least. Fake guy in my opinion. He is there salesman pretty much in my opinion. They scheduled my treatment with Anais and this lady was snippy every time I asked questions on the treatment, on "every" question, she was just Mean and Rude. Terrible time I had here. I could write a book about this devastating and expensive experience I had but will try to hit the main points here. If my review helps one person in making the decision not to get any work done here, I will have accomplished my goal. I don't want anyone to go through what I have been through and spend the amount of money and time I spent for minimal results at best. I had the Juvilee facelift, Botox and eyebrow threads. It was an upsell from the minute I walked in and unfortunately I fell for it ended up spending Around $11,000 for the work I had done. Live and learn. Dr. T did not do the eyebrow threads himself and my results were very poor despite several tries to get it right by another provider there. She clearly did not have experience with threads. I ended up going somewhere else and it worked perfectly. The Botox did very little. With regard to the facelift my results are minimal at best and that's only because it included lipo of the chin which lifted the chin some. I had to return for the trauma of a second procedure in an attempt to fix my issues to no avail. I went back several times to follow up and also got a heat treatment that they said would help...it didn't not even a little. You might see Dr. T (the actual surgeon) for two minutes on your first follow up , he walks in, runs his fingers along your chin, looks at your photos and tells you everything looks great and doesn't listen to any concerns you have. The rest of the follow ups are handled by non medical staff and they always "have to ask DrT" about your concerns or questions. You waste time and effort with zero answers. In fact my last visit was with what I believe was their office manager or bookkeeper!! I have a big lump under the left side of my chin bone. I have a dent along my chin line on the left side and on the right there is a big bubble that almost looks like a fat bubble. You literally can barely tell the difference from before and after and now I actually have additional issues that were not there before. It became apparent they had no interest in doing the right thing when they ultimately resorted to blaming my anatomy and my misunderstanding and expectations. What a joke! Guess if it was my anatomy then they should have recommended I not have work done in the first place!! Dr. T and his staff are friendly until you have an issue then they become cold, rude and attempt to place blame away from them and onto you. I went to a legit plastic surgeon and having a correction procedure performed soon. VERY expensive lesson. Don't get anything done here! Avoid, don't let them near your face! Firstly I'll mention that I've had this procedure done at a different practice that didn't leave me with very much bruising or swelling at all, so I was already familiar with what to expect. I went to Arizona Facial Plastics (4602 North 16th Street, Phoenix, AZ) about a year ago for some basic under eye filler, and their aesthetician left me with a lump under each eye that made me look like an old woman with sagging eye bags. She was so rough with my face she left additional bruising and swelling that could've been prevented had she been gentler. It was when I got home and got a good look at it did I realize how the filler had been badly placed/injected in. I contacted them to know that was dissatisfied, in which I was met with a robotic demeanor to my situation, no empathy. I asked that they remove my information from their data base since I would not returning again, in which they said the would comply. And now here I am getting an email from their office about their COVID practices? (Their email also lists their name as "Arizona Facial Plastics P.C", but their name is sometimes listed as "North Valley Plastic Surgery" online) This email gave me the option to make a change to "my profile", indicating that my information was still very much in their system! I called them about the email, Felicia asked me if I'd clicked "unsuscribed". So I let her know that it gave me the option to "update my profile", an option that shouldn't even be here since they said they were going to to delete my information. So again, I ask that they remove it, they stated they couldn't take it out due to "State regulations", "in case I needed to get my medical record from them", which they absolutely DIDN'T mention the first time! I said that I was never going to ask them for that record, so they had my permission to delete my info. Their response? Well in their robot demeanor, they again said they couldn't delete it due to State regulations, but rather than advise me who contact about it, they HUNG UP on me instead. Wow, very professional right? These people could care less about the results they give you, and they certainly don't care about you as a person. I had to spend a good month massaging out these lumps under my eyes, so no, it wasn't just swelling. Not to mention another weird mini lump under my inner left eye from where their aesthetician did her damnest to squeeze out the rest of the syringe into. I could feel her hand shake from the strain in her wrist when she did that too. Not to mention, that this lady looked they she didn't sleep very well the previous night, and she plopped a silicone breast in my hand for squeeze during the procedure, because they didn't have anything else available. Yeah, imagine getting your face poked with a needle while holding a fake tit. The skin under my eyes looks more aged now with the way it hangs, vs the basic under eye hollow I had before. I'm going to need a premature blepharoplasty (eye bag surgery) now, which is something that I would've maybe considered in my late 50's, but not my late 30's. I naturally look younger than my age, and now I'm going to have to get their mistake fixed. Again, stay away from this place! read more
