I have been interested in facial/skin care for a while now, and it was about time I started looking into ways to improve my routine. The moment I walked in, I was greeted almost immediately. I noticed that the front waiting room, despite being more of doctor's office, felt more like a spa than anything else. My appointment was started promptly, where they explained fully the facial I was about to receive, and what would be following it. Sheena, my aesthetician for the day, and she was fantastic. She was quite exuberant, and was so pleasant to interact with. She also explained each step of my facial, which product she was using, and how each one works. I will say the there is a portion of extraction, while a bit uncomfortable, was definitely necessary. After the treatment was done, my face felt so fresh, light, & light, and also had such a glow to it. Following the treatment, I spoke with Shea who also explained a little further in detail about different methods/treatments for continued care. I was then taken to a room to get a Visia Skin Analysis, which shows variations in the skin, any particular areas of opportunity, and ways to prevent certain forms of damage. Overall, my experience was great. There was so much ease in talking with the staff, especially if there was anything I was interested in, they listened and then elaborated in detail. I appreciate them so much for their time, their work, and showing me a great experience for my first time. I intend to look further into future treatments and how they can help me looking younger, longer!

I Nearly Lost My Life -- Please Think Twice Before Choosing This Surgeon…read more I'm writing this review not out of anger, but out of a sincere warning to anyone considering a fat grafting procedure or any other procedure with Dr. Oren Tessler at Defyne by Tessler Plastic Surgery. on March 19, 2025 I underwent fat grafting and developed a life-threatening blood clot as a direct result. This wasn't just a bad cosmetic outcome -- this was a medical emergency that almost cost me my life. What's even more upsetting is the lack of clear communication and aftercare. I was not adequately warned about serious risks like blood clot or any other side effects When symptoms appeared, I was dismissed and left to seek emergency care on my own. The physical trauma, emotional toll, and financial burden this has caused are things I wouldn't wish on anyone. The results were disappointing as well -- uneven, unnatural, does look like i got anything done and absolutely not worth the risk I ended up taking with this clueless surgeon. In addition to the blood clot, I experienced vision problems -- dry, watery eyes, and difficulty reading -- symptoms I never expected from a cosmetic procedure. These were frightening and unexpected side effects that I was not warned about. He ordered multiple cc sizes for my surgery to determine what would actually look right for my body. Ended up a 330 cc and they look so natural but it's still obvious I had the enhancement. Which was important that I saw a difference without being over the top. However when you spend $10,000 to get a hair transplant and get swindled then they've got it coming. Dr. Wolin had all the charm in the world and assured me I was getting my hair back. I flew to AZ to get a cheaper rate than the transplant surgeons here in California and if I could do it all over I would have saved the $10k and still had decent hair. For reference I had a pretty thick front of hair but my crown was thinning. Nothing terrible but I wanted it all back. Instead, when I arrived for the treatment, it was a different team of "Specialists" who carried out the procedure. "Dr." Wolin came in and gave me the saline solution injection to my scalp to "plump up the area" for the transplant. Little did I know that this would contribute greatly to shock loss. I don't even think they did the full 1500 grafts they were supposed to do. I waited 2 years and it is AWFUL. I'm nearly completely bald on the crown and the hair loss from shock made my hair look awful...I am now consigned to being bald. WORST TRANSPLANT EVER. Ruined my confidence and drained my bank. Negative 10 stars.
