He changed offices by this time, and the professionalism at that office, was not brought over to the new one. There is an almost flippant attitude in the new office that is kinda scary considering ppl are having surgery. But, since I liked him and my experience removing them was good, I used him again. Removing implants is much simpler than putting back. I also got some lipo on my tummy. Another surgeon discouraged me from doing that, he said the skin won't shrink back. Dr Craft didn't think it would be an issue, but it was. That is still an issue ,I need repaired, my stomach looked better before the surgery. After he put the implants back, the breast that had the ruptured implant, didn't heal correctly, as not all the scar tissue was removed. So I had to wait another 6 months for a surgery to correct this......................................................................... Unfortunately that surgery was a disaster! I was bruised from my breast to my hips, with a bruise that lasted 6 months! I also now have a small puckered scar above the incision. More concerning is that, the newly redone implant did not stay in the pocket, and slid out in the corner. 2 dif Radiologists in a breast clinic examined me, and both were concerned about my safety bc of this. I told Dr Craft what they said, his response was, "It's still in the pocket, I used an under/over method that they probably weren't familiar with". It was a clinic in Newport Beach that did nothing but breast exams, so I'm quite sure, there was no method they hadn't seen......................................................................................... I wanted to believe him over them bc, I didn't want ANOTHER surgery, but I KNEW by how awful it felt, it wasn't in the pocket. I started wearing very tight (too small) compression bras 24/7, and the implant seemed to go back in the pocket temporarily. I told him the really tight compression bra moved the implant back in the pocket. His response was, "Well if it comes out again, you can use the compression bra again"! I was dumbfounded. I thought he was just wrong about the implant not being in the pocket. Then I knew, he did know it wasn't, and was lying................................................................................................... I lost ALL respect for him after that. I haven't been able to have surgery AGAIN yet to fix it bc of health issues with loved ones. Now I need to fix it ASAP, bc it's very, very painful. I'm so sick of wearing compression bras 24/7! I've had to do this for the last 3 yrs. I wouldn't go to Dr Craft for any surgical procedure. Being able to admit you made a mistake, that you don't have the ability to fix it, is necessary in cosmetic work or any surgery.

Over the past year, I've had four surgeries -- three of them revisions to fix problems from the original procedure. I was promised a small, six-inch scar and a flat stomach, but instead, I'm left with a scar that runs from hip to hip, noticeable asymmetry, and ongoing issues like failed internal sutures, a lumpy scar, and a persistent bulge. What's been hardest is the lack of clear communication. I often felt in the dark about what was happening, and there seemed to be a disconnect between the doctor and his staff. I was told certain things would be done, only to find they weren't -- leaving me confused and discouraged after each surgery. After filling out 10 min of paperwork I he literally looks at it for a minute and tells me that scar revision would not help the scar that I have. Mind you another doctor emailed me saying he could get it close to invisible for $2k. Dr. Chasby told me that it was permanent but refused to make a record of his medical opinion which I needed for my law suit, saying it wasn't as bad as other scars he's seen. Just because it isn't as bad, doesn't mean it still isn't a permanent ugly bite mark on my body that I do not deserve and will have for life. It's my body, and I WILL BE THE ONE who decides what looks 'fine' on MY BODY. He then stated that he "could not give me extra padding if I planned to file a law suite." No sir, I am not requesting that. But I am requesting you make record of the professional opinion you gave me that I am indeed permanently scarred. He then had the nerve to tell me that my legs looked great regarding their muscle tone attempting to distract me from my frustrated tears. I quit calling him Dr. because to me he hasn't earned that title, only man that didn't handle his mistakes probably. Even at our last appointment before he moved to Arizona, giving me packets of gauze telling me to change the dressing myself as I was in pain and oozing.. but he was moving to Arizona and I wasn't his concern anymore, or so he thought. I went to the emergency room myself that night had two different infections they admitted me immediately. I was lucky to live through the Serratia from unsterile medical equipment and other infections. My whole life was changed forever. I couldn't return to my normal job ever or ever have normal boobs again.. I am still not normal and think of him every time I have to look at my boobs just praying they will be normal to some degree again. My recovery after he moved lasted over 2 years. First there was a series of open wound treatments, 3 weeks as an inpatient in hospital and numerous other medical procedures. Oh yeah let's not forget having to insert interventions antibiotics 4 x's a day myself through a pic line because without it I would have died. After all these years, I am still finding forgiveness hard, but moving forward with my life by helping others make informed decisions. If you call the medical assistants and leave a message they'll call you back in little time at all - you will probably never have to follow up with another phone call. My mom, being my caretaker during my downtime- assisting me with breast cancer my diagnosis /surgery / aftercare feels the same way. She's had to call for me too while I was recovering, and they treat her with the utmost importance, compassion and care. We're both super impressed.
