Absolute Trash!! This event was an expensive ($50.00 per car) waste of money and time. Lights were out throughout the event, displays were toppled over (there was no wind mind you), the displays were old and worn out. There are so many other wonderful light displays around the valley that are free of charge and so so much better! Please save your money and do not pay for this garbage. Grinch Alert. I grew up in Ohio and while we had drive through christmas lights displays they were through parks. Here in Arizona it seems like the thing to do is to put a bunch of lights in a parking lot (or in this case a dirt field) that vaguely dance to the music. I... just cant get into it. We went to this last year and I wasnt impressed. And unfortunately the wife bought tickets for this year before I could call her off. So we went. This is literally a bunch of cars zig-zagging through a dirt field. There are no partitions between the lanes so once you're in you can see the entire display... plus the headlights from the other lanes because some cars cannot (or are unwilling) to turn off their lights. This year was painful because there were multiple times the line just straight up sat there with no movement. I guess people were stopping to look at displays? I have no idea. While I dont want to haul ass through the exhibit I also dont want to sit there looking at someone's bumper for 2-3 minutes multiple times during the event. Honestly... the free stuff is way better. Go to Orchid Drive and drive around. Better displays and it is free. Or go to Highland St and walk around. It actually feels like Christmas there. Or if you want dancing lights then go to Upland Drive - again it is free and you can drive at your own pace. If you insit on paying go to ZooLights or Heck there are numerous houses that do a better job at creating shows than this - Mesa Christmas on Hermosa Vista, Birkett Family on East Valley Drive, Keelys on South Brighton, Milky Way Drive, Christmas on Comstock, Ibis St in Gilbert, and more! As for quality the selection sucks. They just slap 30 Olafs in a row. Then next aisle it is 20 snowflakes. Then a tunnel. Then 15 presents. Oh and then a few teddy bears. Then back to snowflakes. Repeat. Boring. And to add insult to injury there are many of these "characters" that arent working. So instead of 30 Olafs... you get 28. Perfect. The only positive was that the kids enjoyed it. But they also enjoy just driving down your average street and seeing what the average Joe tossed on their house or in their front yard. So this aint saying much. Oh wait there is another positive - the turns have plenty of room. So if you're that guy that insists on bringing your lifted long bed crew cab truck to event you should be able to successfully make the turns so you can ensure that you keep your headlights on and continue to illuminate the interior of the 3 vehicles in front of you. So for the love of Christmas... spend your money on gas and drive to any of these other displays. Many of these houses take donations that go to charity. They are much, much more worth it than this. read more

It was a nice event for charity. I think everyone needs to keep in mind this event is to support children's charities. The displays were colorful and fun. They needed to have a bit better directions for the exit but all in all it was a nice event. Everyone in the car loved it. read more

It's something different to do. Yes some lights burned out but it's huge and someone put some effort into putting in a show. Kids loved it so it was worth it. So many fun lights. Confusing to come out. Again it's a light show. read more

I'm still laughing over how awful this light show was. Half of the lights/decor are knocked over or don't work at all. The music is awful and doesn't sync with the lights. Maybe five of the lights are animated - the rest are just regular lights...and it's the same lights repeated every row. And you are done in 15 mins. It's so boring, nothing special - and the grinch at the end is absolute nightmare fuel for kids. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this. It's a huge scam. read more

Very disappointing. A lot of lights were not working. If you purchase stuff ahead of time they were giving it to you when they scanned ticket so took up lot of time ...we had 6pm reservation and maybe 9 cars ahead of us. We didn't get to gate to have ticket scanned until 6:15ish. Took all of. 10 min to drive through. The traffic control to get people in line was horrible. No lighting or traffic control to get you out. We tried calling in for more info and recorded message was still for Halloween events. And oh did I mention there was a giant pumpkin mixed with Christmas lights. Supposedly there was supposed to be interactive kids display. Never saw anything like this. What a waste and certainly not worth $35. Going home we drove by Mesa Mormons temple which had the most amazing Christmas display of lights and it was free. Free parking and so we walked around to get full view. read more

light show is extremely short for the price. its $40 per car and the drive is maybe 10 minutes probably even less

Very disappointing we were in line for very long time. When we went through the lights they were not dancing to the music and a lot of the lights were not working. It had rained most of the day but it said to come rain or shine. Total waste of money don't waste your money or time read more

I'm sorry AZ lights, but Not worth it. 40 dollars not well spent. I'm sure it's a lot of work to put up the lights though. Plus Lots of big holes on the path (recently rained). read more

This business seems to have prioritized profit over product, ostensibly selling tickets to more customers than they have capacity to provide a good experience for. We sat 45 minutes on their property, in gridlock traffic, just to show our prepurchased ticket at the ticket gate - at that point we were 30 minutes past our "appointment time". Now we're approaching an hour since we arrived and we continue to be in gridlock traffic on the approach to the event, but still have yet to arrive at the beginning of the *actual* light display. Keep in mind, when you buy a ticket here you choose an *appointment time* - the implication, at least in my mind, being that rather than sell X number of tickets for a certain date and then have everyone show up at the same time and overwhelm the system, they sell a certain number of tickets per 15 minute block so that things flow smoothly. Things are not, however, flowing smoothly. Basically, I spent $50 to hang out in my car in bumper to bumper traffic with my family for an hour, then drive through the light show (which was, itself, probably 3.5 stars) for 20 minutes. The wait to reward ratio doesn't work, here. And while I'm most upset about the wait, prospective customers should also know that many of the lights which are set up along the route are not functioning, and that the "road" that winds through the lights is pretty atrocious. I have a 4wd SUV and wasn't too bothered, but I'd have been a bit nervous in a sedan, I think, and in a sports car or other low clearance vehicle I don't think damage-free passage would be in any way a certainty. Anyway, we plan to do a drive through light show again next year, but it won't be this one. read more

They still have a giant pumpkin up and a scary Grinch at the end that looks like it is from Halloween. The VIP tickets are not worth the money as we had to wait in the normal line anyways. Save your money and find a neighborhood light show. This one is not worth it! They also non responsive to emails or text messages. Really disappointing. read more

Horrible! We drove 4 hours to see this and wasted $50 on admission to get into this absolutely horrendous light show. We almost couldn't find the place to get in because the signs and entrance aren't lit at all, and it looks like you are going into a sketchy dark alley. Half of the lights didn't even work when we got there, and they had a ladder just sitting out under one of the archways like they were trying to fix some lights, but there was no one around. This made it hazardous to get through that particular archway because there was barely enough room for a vehicle to go through. The road through the lights was absolutely terrible, full of potholes and bumps. I have literally never been so disappointed in a light show in my life. I am used to light shows that actually put effort in to make sure it's nice, not ones that don't seem to care whether their show looks good or not. My boyfriend and I just wanted to keep up a family tradition that my family has been doing for as long as I can remember by going to a drive thru light show, and it was absolutely not worth it. He literally took off work to take me to this, plus we drove 8 hours round trip and spent money on gas and other expenses, all for a light show that was not worth it! My advice to anyone thinking about going to this is to pick somewhere else. It will absolutely be a giant waste of money, if you go. read more
