I had already met my deductible for the year, yet when I arrived for my appointment, I was charged a $150 copay. First, I've never had a copay that high. Second, I showed the front desk my insurance app, which clearly indicated that my deductible had been met. Despite that, I was directed to billing and reluctantly paid so I could keep my appt. Several days later, I'm still trying to get my refund. The billing department says they're waiting to verify everything w/the insurance company - that doesn't make sense because the claim has already been paid. (Again clearly shown on my app) Which also shows I owed $0.00. I need to schedule injections, but I won't do so until this billing issue is resolved. If they can't , I'll be looking for another doctor.

I did epidural injections 2 weeks ago and today was my follow up and in a shit ton of pain because due for trigger point injections I was told weren't happening because my doctor said he did them when he did the epidural injections. He didn't or I wouldn't have expected them today. I said it was to do them at my FU appointment and even asked if I had schedule it prior and he said no. If he did them when he did the epidural I wouldn't be in the pain I was in today and expecting them. I need them I mean I have a hump because muscles are so tight and he calls them crunchy they get so tight. I got pushed out and told to wait 3 weeks to pay another 100 dollar co pay. He didn't do them check the video and audio. I never thought I'd be left in pain like this and full of knots. I would have felt them in my muscles if he did them that day. I'm at a loss for words. I paid 100 co pay for what today to be left in pain and get what's needed to help with the pain. Very very sad no discussion regarding the epidural injection Kaitlyn said send meds in that won't work without trigger point injections and was ready to push me out the door or left in the room to cry. That's what I paid a 100 copay for to be left in tears and pain. I never cry and also know better I wouldn't have expected the injections if I already got them. I've recently been addressing a neck issue that's causing tea ion headaches. Dr. Davis himself is fine, albeit a bit quick in his speaking and approach to adjustments. He is a bit more forceful than many chiropractors I've been to and doesn't really check in to see how you feel or what you might need. I would recommend the massage therapists wholeheartedly but would err on the side of caution if you are sensitive with your back, neck, and/or other joints before getting an adjustment.
