Finally, I stepped out to inquire about the wait and when was I going to be seen, come to find out, the doctor wan't there. They asked if I wanted to continue to wait and I said no as well as to rescheduling. I was so disgusted that I declined to reschedule. I really was very happy to get some help but this visit discouraged me. it was not a case for good customer service at all.

Oxycodone 9.5 years and I would take them for 3 weeks then off a week and going back on them after the week off I realized I was in more pain after taking it dumb and I finally told him I wanted off of them we set a date and I have been off them over 3 years and in those over 3 years I started to hate and despise opioids. I am in less pain off of them and we started doing epidural injections with my trigger points and I am also on soboxone for pain not addiction to opioids and if I didn't like the soboxone and I wanted to back to Oxycodone then we would of went back to Oxycodone but since I went off it I have told him how much I hate it and it caused over 10,000 in dental because the sweet tooth it caused and dry mouth. No dental issues with Suboxone but I do a lot to keep it that way. When I was taking Oxycodone he would switch me to Vicodin to help with becoming immune to it but it didn't do anything and reason why is because it didn't make me feel like my aoxy did and absolutely I told him that so a pain doc you can say that to is wicked good. Only thing I will leave out is my doctor ors name because he's in high demand because he's good at what he does and his memory is insane which shows he pays attention and listens. Technology has come a long way and so many incredible treatment options that work other than opioids and mentally being off of them I am less fussy because my body craved it caused more pain. It's like feeding the beast. A lot of incredible providers and if you are lucky to get my doctor first visit you will know who he is. I could write a 10 chapter novel about how incredible of a doctor he is

Never in my life did I ever expect to ever write a sonewhat negative review but I also never…read morethought I'd get the treatment I did today. In tears and pushed out the door. I did epidural injections 2 weeks ago and today was my follow up and in a shit ton of pain because due for trigger point injections I was told weren't happening because my doctor said he did them when he did the epidural injections. He didn't or I wouldn't have expected them today. I said it was to do them at my FU appointment and even asked if I had schedule it prior and he said no. If he did them when he did the epidural I wouldn't be in the pain I was in today and expecting them. I need them I mean I have a hump because muscles are so tight and he calls them crunchy they get so tight. I got pushed out and told to wait 3 weeks to pay another 100 dollar co pay. He didn't do them check the video and audio. I never thought I'd be left in pain like this and full of knots. I would have felt them in my muscles if he did them that day. I'm at a loss for words. I paid 100 co pay for what today to be left in pain and get what's needed to help with the pain. Very very sad no discussion regarding the epidural injection Kaitlyn said send meds in that won't work without trigger point injections and was ready to push me out the door or left in the room to cry. That's what I paid a 100 copay for to be left in tears and pain. I never cry and also know better I wouldn't have expected the injections if I already got them. If my doctor came in he would k ow he didn't do them because of huge knots everywhere. In 2 weeks spent 2 in copays to be left in pain and my doctor came knows how it effects my jobs bc of migraines the right muscles cause I work 3 15 hour days chained to a desk total 65 hours 2 jobs and I can't work with this pain. Never in over 12 years have I missed my appt for them. My back would not be lumpy and full of knots if he did triggers 2 weeks ago. I don't cry and I'm not dramatic and would never try to get trigger points if I just had them. It sucks to be left in so much and pushes out like I was

I thank heaven for this office almost every day. Since another reviewer mentioned they're an RN,…read morelet mr say: I am also an RN and "qualified" to judge care - though I don't think my professional experience is sufficient to speak from a patient's point of view. This review is based on my perspective & my mother's perspective as patients. I am shocked by the negative reviews because my mother's experience with SanTan, Dr. Yilma, Britney Kormos, Elena Varretta, Jose, Vera, and other staff over the last three years has been absolutely fantastic. Sure, we have encountered an occasional bone head, but they don't last long. First, the front office: When we first found SanTan, my mother needed EECP and her insurance was being awful. I worked closely with Vera in the front office. It was a hands on deck because my mother was in such bad shape. Vera called me multiple times a day to update me each step of the way, to help relieve my anxiety over the situation. We worked together, as a team, each doing everything we could, to get my mom access ro the care she needed. About Dr. Yilma: My mom went to the ER for a heart attack around 10pm a few years ago. I called SanTan eight when they opened to let them know. They were empathetic, and ensured me they'd let Dr. Yilma know right away. I got to the hospital that morning around 9am to find out Dr. Yilma had already rounded on my mom in the hospital, about 7am! She came back several times throughout the day. Before and after the heart cath, she updated my sister and I, and took plenty of time doing so. The nurses said Dr. Yilma is great about talking to her patients and we were in good hands... but I already knew that. :) Elena Carretta and Britney Kormos practice to the top of their license, are quick ro respond to any and all of my questions. We get appointments quickly. Because I'm an RN, I'm a huge pain as a patient (or in this case, my mom's advocate). There were a few times I challenged things, and Britney just called Dr. Yilma on the spot to answer my questions. Problem solved! There's n9 ego here. Everyone works together to care foe the patients. Did I mention they do EECP? Almost nowhere in the valley does. Also, my mom's experiences getting cath'd have been great. She's been cath'd more times than we can count and has had some bad experiences... but she's always been kept very comfortable with Dr. Yilma, and also with Cindy. Maybe the bad reviews were true at the time they were written... but they certainly don't apply now. For anyone with heart disease who wants an integrated practice, where your primary care providers brush shoulders with cardiology, SanTan is your gem

This office is possibly the worst medical office I've had the displeasure of going to. Dr. Yilma…read moreis wonderful, as is Dr. Rogers, but the front office people are nothing short of stupidity and unprofessionality. When they do answer their phones, it's like your bothering them when it's their job! They constantly lose or misplace psperwork and don't seem to care about what they do. Two months ago, I gave dr. Rogers paperwork online for a mobility exam. We did the appt., while I was sitting in the room with him. Two weeks later, and it still wasn't sent in to the company. This CB office was provided with their fax number as well as telephone and e-mail info. Turns out, the psperwork is just missing. The girl at the front desk told me, "Dr. Rogers lost the paperwork." More likely, the ladies at the front lost the paperwork. Fast forward 7 weeks later, abd after I went into the office and told them what I needed, they still faxed back the wrong information. Two weeks after correcting this error, my insurance kicked it back yet again for being incomplete. I expressed it the women at this office that this was unacceptable. I was told by Vera, who should never be working in a medical office that, "I don't appreciate you saying that we are disorganized." Well. Vera, if the shoe fits. Last week, she sent back the info to the company, yoday, when u called the mobility company to check if they received the paperwork, big surprise, they hadn't. The woman called Santan cardiovascular and spoke to vets, who was verbally fumbling around with why the company didn't receive the papers. Well, she transposed the fax number so now my papers were sent to a completely different fax number! Direct violation of hippa privacy laws. Good job Vera! And these people wonder why I say things like their office is completely disorganized. A doctor's office staff is the very first contact a patient has before even seeing the doctor. Dr. Yilma, if you want to keep your practice going, you're going to need to clean your house up of these front office employees!
