Went in March for a hysterectomy. Outpatient doors were closed said to go through the ER. Go to…read morethe ER they make you walk all the way to regular administration who's doors are open with a closer parking lot then the ER. I have a port because I have Multiple Sclerosis and receive my medication monthly by infusion, they refused to use it without an Xray. They also made me pee in a cup to prove I wasn't pregnant...it takes 3 appointments, waiting 30 days and a biopsy that is the most painful thing I've ever experienced in order to get a hysterectomy, who would get pregnant in that small window of time where I took 2 other pregnancy tests AND had an ultrasound. Plus since it was surgery I hadn't drank anything. Super annoying. When I came to the nurse who took care of me was great, very easy going, was prememptive with care like had a heater thing ready for me and water, explained everything, his energy was very good and calming, perfect for what was happening. I chose to stay the night in order to have pain management because left to my own devices I let the pain go too long and it causes problems. My first nurse was Coraline. I had to pee as soon as I got there, I asked her and she asked me to wait 5 minutes. Luckily for me the nurse who does the blood pressure, I think her name was Cheyenne helped me and was super sweet the entire time. Caroline did eventually come back but not in the 5 minutes and didn't remember, she did not seem very experienced. Then later in the evening when she came in I asked to have my water filled and she again said later and that I had gatorade, my mom had gone and bought snacks because Caroline couldn't find a phone for me to order food and she did place the order herself but obviously I'm not going to page the nurse everytime I need something. A very nice man, the one who transported me, saw my mom with the bag found us a phone and apologized that we bought everything he seemed pretty irritated that this wasn't taken care of by the nurse. I didn't get my water refilled until the night shift when the blood pressure guy Chris came in, he was also great. I don't remember my nurses name that night but I really liked her, she was very friendly and competent perfect care after a very long tiring day. Checkout was easy. I just really wish they had used my port because I would've been far more comfortable and that's why it's there. Coraline could also use a little help in making sure patients are comfortable, she's the only one who didn't seem to recognize what was going on.

I went in, by ambulance, in severe pain, in my right upper quad/abdomen. It was so bad, I couldn't…read morebreathe. I had to wait in the lobby more than two hours. Shortly after being left there, I got a real bad wave of pain, along with getting really hot and sweaty. My partner told one of the ladies at the desk, and she just said we have to wait. Then, they called back a man who didn't appear to be in any pain, and was able to walk normally, without help, while myself and another woman were both miserable with pain. When I finally got called back, they slowly started doing tests, first, checking for issues with my heart. But, going from an experience my girlfriend had December of 2024, we were both thinking it was my gallbladder. Then, they took blood, and gave me fentanyl for the pain. An hour later, it didn't do a thing for it. So, they gave me a different one, which also didn't help. I was finally taken for an ultrasound of my gallbladder, pancreas and liver. The tech had a hard time finding my gallbladder, when I laid on my left side. So, accurate views may not have been possible. I waited nearly four hours for those results. After nearly 7 hours there, a PA comes in and tells me there's sludge in my gallbladder, but it's not necessary to have emergency surgery. But, she wants me to follow up with a surgeon. She told me to follow a low fat diet, which I have been doing for 11 months now, to lose weight. I was discharged after that 7 hours, and the pain persisted until I went to bed, five hours later. Even now, I'm having mild pain, off and on, and I'm also starting to feel it when bending over. I saw the ultrasound report, in which they say it's sludge, but they were unable to see everything, due to bowel gas, obstructing the view. If this was the case, why didn't they do further tests? What if they missed something critical? I do have an appointment with the surgeon, next week. So, we'll see what she says.

My visit today was with Chris Aussems NMD, I work in construction so I suffer from chronic muscle pain because of the nature of the business and he was very professional, he referred me to a radiologist and as well gave me advice to cope with my muscle pain by visiting a chiropractor also to make other adjustments for the good of my overall health. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a professionally done certification. Thanks again Raven Wellness keep up the good work

(I went for neck and low back pain but saw patients with shoulder, knee and other issues as well. I know the NP treats hormone imbalance and weight loss too.) After an initial consultation, you will receive a treatment plan. Mine included physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, decompression table, massage and trigger point injections for my back pain. Most insurances have such a high deductibles now a days that it can be difficult to get treatment paid for, but Southwest Family Medical works with you to try and figure out the easiest way for you to pay and get the treatment you need. The staff is great. The girls at the front desk are so sweet. The massage therapist is AMAZING. Dr Taylor is so knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to you. Because I don't have any complex medical conditions they have become my primary care office too! I'm living life so much fuller now that I know how to manage my back problems and know that I have a team to turn to when I need them.

I filled out the very lengthy intake documents online taking special care to make sure my symptoms were listed and accurate when I got into the office. One of the first things they ask for is money upfront, which is odd... $84. I paid the money and was called back to my room. The woman who was doing my initial intake, said, "so you're here for back and neck pain. Where does it hurt in your back and neck?" I said, I'm not here for back and neck pain, it does say on the forms I filled out She flipped through a bunch of forms and says "so it gets worse with anxiety and stress?" I never said any of these things... So I asked her, "do you have the right chart in front of you?" Now this woman with plenty nice, but when she left, she did not come back right away. This gave me a bad feeling, they didn't even know who I was or which problems I was coming in for. I stopped at the front desk and asked to be refunded my $84 as I wasn't seen by anybody. The woman at the front desk said the manager would be calling me. Two hours later, I called and left a message to see when that would be credited Then around 4 PM. I called and was told the manager would call me before the end of the day. I have yet to speak to the manager or see any indication that that amount had been credited. I did not like this place , hopefully you will

I went for my monthly appointment today. Their office isn't close and it's not easy for me to drive, I'm disabled. The Dr told me their systems are down so they can't send in my medication electronically. I said ok, what do we do? He said, I will send it in once the system is back up. I said ok, no problem. Do you want me to call of there are any issues? He said no, I will definitely send it for you, I won't forget! I felt reassured. Fast forward a couple hours. I just got a call, guess who? Advanced Pain and the rude staff! Brianne tells me the system is still down and to drive back to the office to get a paper prescription. I tell her it's far and I can't drive back. I said, how about I just call back tomorrow and check to see if things are up and running? She said "we don't know when the system will be back up". I said, that's ok , I don't mind calling. Then she said "no, you can come back here to get it." If this is the case, why wasn't I given a paper prescription by the Dr when I was in the office a few hours ago! These people do not give a damn about customer service or their patients. They mess up prescriptions, billing, copays, and they are rude and hateful. I have had every type of issue you can imagine with them, and this is the tip of the iceberg. Update: Advanced Pain dropped the ball again, shocking right? Today I called and spoke to Donna and their system is still down, shocking right? So I asked them to mail my RX to me. They said "we can't mail a narcotic prescription." I said ok I'm disabled and rarely drive so what can be done? They said just have someone else pick up your prescription. I said, "are you absolutely sure this won't be an issue?" Donna said no, it will be ready at the front desk. I said ok. (Knowing they're liars and incompetent) My wife drove there after work today and guess what? The RX was NOT at the front desk and they said "all the providers left so we don't have anyone to print the prescription." Advanced Pain, your staff is the most incompetent people I have ever met in my entire life! They need to find a job they're actually qualified for, something not patient or customer facing.

There is a 10 minutes grace period which he was told there is no grace period for the last appointment of the day something we were not told when booking the appointment and it is NOWHERE posted in the office. He was also told the provider was already gone just after 5 minutes something that I find very unfair because what if the provider is running later with a patient or is in the restroom then what! The patient has to wait Extra to be seen! This happened to him on his initial appointment, he got there 30 minutes before his appointment time ample time and he still had to wait 30 minutes more because provider was running late. Lastly, still haven't received a call from the back office team. It has been two weeks and according to their policy, 1 or 2 days and still waiting.
