We hired Arizona Painting Company while preparing to sell our home, which was already a stressful process with three children and both of us working full-time. After receiving four quotes, we chose them based on a recommendation and initial confidence during our consultation. Unfortunately, our experience quickly became disappointing. We met in February and scheduled a start date of March 11. We were told someone would contact us the week prior to confirm paint colors, but we never received a call and had to follow up ourselves. On day one, the foreman did a walkthrough and said they would start upstairs. Only minimal prep work was completed on two bedrooms before the crew left early, promising to return the next morning. Day two was even more concerning. Only one worker showed up, the foreman was absent, and prep work was still incomplete by midday. We also observed workers frequently leaving to vape. I will say the project manager was responsive and communicative when I reached out, and did try to address concerns. That evening, a serious incident occurred. We were alerted via our Ring camera that there was an issue involving the crew and our neighbors. When I called the foreman, he stated they were disposing of paint by digging a hole and burying it on the property. Given how close our homes are, this understandably upset our neighbors. The situation escalated into a confrontation, resulting in police being called, and the crew was told to leave. When we returned home, prep work was still unfinished, no painting had been completed, and there was trash left behind. A new crew arrived on day three and completed the job in a single day, which highlighted how inefficient the previous crew had been. However, communication remained poor at the management level. I attempted multiple times to reach a supervisor but never received a callback before the weekend. While we were eventually offered compensation, it was not proactively handled. I had to follow up myself to address and correct the compensation, which added to the frustration and made it feel like resolving the issue was not a priority. Due to managing our children and my husband working a 48-hour shift, I couldn't fully inspect everything immediately. After noticing additional incomplete work, I reached out again and received no response. We've hired many service providers over the years and have never experienced anything like this. This project caused unnecessary delays in selling our home and added significant stress. Given the cost and importance of this work, we expected far better professionalism, communication, and accountability. read more

I hired Arizona Painting to paint and seal my commercial building. I had been experiencing water leaks in the front section of the building. Before contacting them, I spent $46,000 redoing the roof, thinking that was the cause. When the leaks continued, it was determined that the block walls were absorbing water and leaking through to the interior. I was referred to Arizona Painting and met with their sales representative. I made it very clear that my main goal was to stop the leaks, and I requested extra care be taken on the front portion of the building. The sales rep assured me that, after applying their sealer and paint, the building would not leak. However, after the job was completed, the building leaked again. I called the office four times with no return calls. Only after contacting Rosie on the House, who had referred me, did I receive a prompt response. Within minutes, the office called and said their commercial manager would review the job. The commercial manager did call but never followed up as promised. I reached out to him twice with no response. Again, after contacting Rosie on the House, the office quickly called to schedule a visit. When the commercial manager finally came out, he told me it wasn't his problem and that since the contract didn't specifically state the walls would not leak, they were not responsible. His attitude was dismissive, showing no empathy or concern. I asked to speak with the sales rep, but I was told he no longer works there -- which was telling. I reached out to Rosie on the House once more, and they arranged a visit from the owner. Unfortunately, the owner took the same stance -- no responsibility, no care, and no solutions. It's now been over two weeks with no further communication. The owner's final statement to me was: "I'm sorry the sales guy told you the paint and sealer would stop the leaks, but the contract doesn't say that." If the owner doesn't care, it's no surprise that the employees don't either. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability, communication, and integrity from this company. Clearly after spending 46k on the roof and having leaks still, the sales guy for Arizona painting was well aware that I had major concerns about the water leaking. Its the reason I had the building sealed and painted. The owner has no care or integrity of what his sales guy say or do. Review the pics. The top cap for the wall never painted and I paid for the that. The exterior doors were never fully painted and I paid for that. The paint was so poor applied you can see the old paint. This was all pointed out by an inspector. The ROC is now handling this. read more

In 2024 Arizona Painting Company was tasked to paint the entire interior of my house. Never again will I hire this company. They sprayed with the air conditioner on. As a result the air ducts were covered in paint. My a/c handler unit absorbed the spray and had to be processionally cleaned. The job was so poorly done they had to come again and repaint the house. They paid for the stay at an Airbnb. Who wants that with a pet! Recently, two years later I realized they didn't paint behind the toilet! We hired Arizona Paint Company to paint the interior of the house and to epoxy our garage floor. We've lived in the house for the past twelve years and it needed some TLC. Several holes from hanging art, normal wear and tear and an old rust color that wasn't attractive. They suggested world gray which is a very neutral color and we are thrilled with the outcome. The entire house looks so much brighter with the new color scheme. All the ceilings and baseboards were painted white and our fireplace was updated in the new color scheme as well. We had them paint white our entertainment center from its natural wood color and it turned out fantastic. They did meticulous work and in a timely manner. First, they were professional from the start...meaning informative and helpful in every way, explaining the process, warranties, time from start to finish, hours, etc. They delivered on all promises and did excellent work. I recently had two jobs completed by Arizona Painting Company. The first was the interior of my home and the second was an epoxy job for my garage floor. I was not very happy with the interior job and let the company know about it, unfortunately, they sent the same guy to touch up and fix what I was not happy with. He didn't do a very good job the second time around. I would still like to highlight the responsiveness of the office as well as the estimator, Travis, who were courteous and professional from the start. Despite not being fully satisfied with my interior job, I'd still like to leave a 5 star review and commend Robert and his crew on the garage epoxy job they completed. Robert was friendly and communicative. His crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves and I had no issues throughout the entire job. Decides to give them another try January 2025 for kitchen cabinets and they did not sand down and primer my cabinet doors correctly so each month I have to touch up my doors. APC only sent one person out to paint the exterior of our home, which is not a big house, but a lot of work for one person. They quoted me a Corvette, but delivered a Chevette. The salesman that quoted the job would not return my email or calls. The project manager was condescending on the phone and in person. I expressed that the caulking was not complete and he started in on asking me if I expected every "micro" crack to be sealed, but these are big gaps. I ended up caulking a lot of the big cracks myself. I still have a ton of work to do to finish the job they way it was quoted. Many steps, specifically in prep work, were skipped. The job was quoted a 4-5 days, but took 9 days to complete. The painter was a nice guy, but got the short end of the stick from the salesman. Basically, they did not meet their contractual obligation, but I gave up and just told them they were finished. I paid my invoice and have never heard from them again to see if I am satisfied. When it cools off again I will finish their work for them! read more

I worked with two teams of two guys, all four of whom were dedicated to doing a good job, delightful to have around, and communicated well and regularly about progress. Very Very upset over our experience. I do feel like they see my mom as a little old lady and thought she wouldn't know better. The job is not finished, we don't know If they are coming back or when, they have not returned my calls. They say the manager "Jose" will call me back and he doesn't. Our final "walk through" it became very clear they did bare minimum and didn't do what was in the contract. My contract says "Caulk around windows, doors and trim to seal out moisture and drafts. (Where gaps exist) Scrape and/or sand all loose and peeling paint to give a solid surface for the paint to adhere to...STUCCO REPAIRS: Repair up to 50 sqft of missing stucco unless otherwise noted above. If, after powerwashing, more than 50 sqft of stucco repairs are needed they will be at an additional $50 per man per hour. STUCCO CRACKS: We will fill all cracks in stucco with elastomeric stucco patch or correct stucco material..Patio ceiling drywall will be scraped and re-taped where current tape seams are coming loose. We will pull back loose gravel or dirt to paint below the grade. Keep job site clean...." They didn't do even half of that. The gaps on two windows were not addressed. There is one front walkway area where they didn't scrape/sand loose peeling paint and painted right over it and it is all up and loose, still cracks not filled, areas with not nearly enough paint... the list goes on and on and they told her that that is all because her house is old and they won't do anymore they have been there to long. They were there to long because no one showed up with paint till halfway through day two, they sat around for hours waiting for paint. They also couldn't get their machine to work for 2 hours, and kept complaining how the machine always has issues and clogs. NONE of that is our problem. Sadly I have had to blue tape all the areas of concern to document so that we have it in case they ever decide to finish the job or want to try to dispute it with us. Do not use this company. They do not fix their work and don't communicate after they decide they are done. read more

When I went looking for someone to paint my home, I found it confusing and a bit daunting that there were so many painting companies in Tucson. I picked Arizona Painting Company because of the excellent customer service they brought to the process. They did a complete inspection of my home, pointing out issues that needed to be addressed, then gave me a comparable quote that I decided on over anyone else. The inspector/sales representative then gave me a tentative date to start the project. I was contacted by Arizona Painting Company 2 weeks earlier than the quote date to schedule the complete painting of my home which consisted of the whole exterior including the running board around the eves, the garage door, and the front door. They patched all the stucco and holes in the walls and accepted the color choices I gave them since I live in an HOA community. They assigned me an excellent individual to manage the project. Rene Gonzalez texted me every day to let me know when they would be arriving, did all the preparation on the home, and painted my home in less than three (3) days. I am ecstatic about the results. Quote was a fair price for the work (not the lowest I received) and I went with them because they are very reputable and I know they will take care of any issues during or after the painting project. Arrived when they said they would and spent a lot of time repairing things and taping things off. Got most painting done but then got hit with a rain storm which did wash away some paint. I had some concerns and expressed those to Francisco the on-site foreman as well as Gilbert the PM and they took care of those issues and then some. PLEASE READ before doing business with this company. As a consumer, we need to protect each other from the wrong doings from businesses. Arizona Painting Company does not honor their contract agreement and will do nothing after they are paid, even with a warranty. Facts from my experience: *1st day of painting was on May 27th - Final walkthrough on May 31st. I had expressed my concerns as they were painting and also at the final walkthrough. No response from the office when I kept calling for updates on my concerns. I finally received a response on August 25th. *They claim they apply 2 coats of paint - They swipe right and swipe left and call it 2 coats. Their own testing was inconclusive and not completed as they were supposedly waiting for final lab results to be completed. Those final results were never given to myself or anyone involved. *Painters either did not show up or were late every single day. *Broke my gutter and left a partially painted wall. *Property Damage they will not accept responsibility for. *Paint is already peeling and bubbling in some places. (It has only been several months since they painted.) *Supposed to leave paint for the owner, no paint was left and I was told to go get it myself. Came out to look at my issues on 9/4 (recorded the visit to ensure all points were documented and agreed upon), Testing on my paint was performed on 9/9 on some of the house walls, but not the fascia. I reached out on 10/2 for next steps and was told they would return on Thursday to take care of the remaining issues, no show - no call. Due to all of the rain, I waited and asked for another update on 10/24, no response. My advice, protect yourself and do not use this company as they do not stand behind their own contract or even respond. WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My interior paint job was a disaster. First we had a start date and then they called and delayed it for two days. Ok... I could Iive with that. Mind you it is less than 1300 square feet and vacant. They worked for two days and left all their trash in my garage... and then vanished. While they were there they played loud Mexican music and left their food containers behind. I live in a very conservative homeowner association. It was almost a month before they finished. The finishes on my doors and baseboards were not correct. There was minor cracks not repaired on the ceiling. Paint was on my light fixtures and cabinets... and my brand new floor. Paint and wheel marks were left in my garage. I came to inspect the first day and they were parked in my garage. Management came to repair the mess... but it still was not up to my standards. Since we were now over a month in and needing to move in... I accepted it. Now two months in... my doors all stick... my master closet door does not close and paint is chipping. I had my bathroom painted and was very pleased with the work, there was a few little drops that I had to clean up once he left, but the paint came off easily. He showed up on time and was done fairly early. However, the front office and sales person communication skills have some work. The sales person came out to my place and gave me the quote, but it took 2 email attempts for him to send me the quotes. I decided to go with AZ Painting company for my bathroom and gave him all the paint details for colors and finishes that I wanted. After I had given my paint color choices twice I still got an email to send in my color choices. When the painted got to my house, he still didn't have my color and finish choices. This part of the process needs a MAJOR lesson in communication skills! I plan on using AZ painting for my living room, if this failure to communicate regarding paint colors happens again, I will be demanding more of a discount, there is no reason that if I give the colors before hand and the painters show up empty handed. We had Arizona paint our brand new construction home. It looks beautiful from a distance. They left a mess for us to clean up. Paint splatters on the toilets, fixtures, and other areas. When putting the trim back on, they didn't fill all the nail holes. Some, but not all. They painted rooms the wrong color and when they corrected, can still see the wrong color around the window sills. Bummer because the company was referred to us by a business acquaintance. My painting job took almost 2 months to complete. Communication was terrible. They had to come back out to fix the underside of the patio which looked terrible. Would say they would be there on a certain day and no one would show. 2 different project managers. Paint splattered on my new $2500 gate. I really hope I will not have to contact them during the warranty period. The communication between project manager and the office was consistently incorrect. Earlier this month I had a Tucson team come out to paint my kitchen cabinets. I have a large kitchen and a LOT of work needed to be done. Lalo and Jose were outstanding. They took three full days to prep the area - removed all doors, drawers, hardware. Covered everything before sanding and painting, covered everything in the garage which was their work station. Thursday and Friday they painted and replaced everything - all in the right places. They cleaned up every bit of sheeting and debris. They were professional (as were all members of the team and staff), courteous and friendly. I am very impressed with the quality of work, their work ethic, and the pricing for a very big project. Seth, the salesperson showed up on time, was friendly and took measurements and photos of the rooms I wanted to be painted. He was professional and made a few color suggestions. Cara in the office sent the quote over that day. The 15% discount was a nice way to catch new clients. I took the bait. Julie, the Colorist was delightful. She was smart, quick to show me all the color samples she carried and helped me to blend some ideas together for paint choices. Day of painting: Jesus and Brenda showed up early and got to work taping up the rooms and putting down drop cloths and covering cloths over furniture. Jesus was the foreman, he was diligent, clean and professional. An expert at edging the brush to the seams. Brenda was quiet but a hard worker. She worked alone, and was fast and she made the work look easy. I added on a paint job and the price was reasonable. The colors came out BEAUTIFULLY!!! The bedroom is so relaxing now I love it! I have a whole book of nothing but bad experiences with this company from start to unfinished, but I will let the "34" plus 1 star reviews speak for themselves. Being a Veteran of the United States Navy, and experiencing unfavorable conditions in different countries, I would have never thought to be treated this way coming back to the States. The part that is most shocking are the lies. Poor workmanship, showing up late, not showing up at all, record keeping, phone etiquette and not returning phone calls, can all be fixed and somewhat tolerated, but if you look at all of the "1" star reviews the most common complaint are the lies. Horribe service!!! Go else where if you can!!!! We were impressed with the consult and promises and great attitude. We gave a deposit scheduled service and informed the office of the color we wanted to paint our kitchen cabinets. Day 1 was a no call no show, Had to call the main number and was told it happens, and they would reschedule for the next day. A wasted day off. Day 2 painter arrives late with no idea what he was painting or the color to use. After he got the info he went to the paint store to get what was needed. He removed the doors and left. Day 3 Painter arrives late and starts to paint the base units. He did not tape or tarp off anything as we asked for and what was promised to us during the consult. Day 4 painter retuned to put another coat on base units as the previous coats were sloppy and spotty Day 5 painter returned with cabinet doors and installed them. While reviewing the so called completed job and asking he to do touch ups he become rude and complained. During day two the painter complained that AZ Painting Company dosen't care about customer service only booking jobs and making money, and that complaing would fall on deaf ears. All in All if I could go back and choose a different company I would. I felt it was a catfish of service or lack there of, and was told anything we wanted to hear to get the money. read more

On the day of the start date they called and said their team was sick and was not able to come out. I was very upset because I had already booked a non-refundable hotel for me and the kids to stay at since the house was a disaster to prep. They didn't start the job for four days later.
