I could not be happier with the cleaning of our area rugs. I had 7 area rugs picked up to be cleaned and repaired. I did not expect the white rugs to come back looking brand new, but they did. I purchased a rug elsewhere that needed to be sized. I brought it into the Tempe location and I was less than impressed. I found two employees in the office area and they did not even come out to acknowledge me. They took in my rug and told me it would be ready the following Thursday, a very quick turn around, which I was impressed by. The date came so I called to check in if the rug was ready and I was told it would be ready the net day and they would call me. Nothing... I called back and it went directly to voicemail and the message was full. I followed up the next week and they apologized and told me they would deliver it free of charge. Then to my surprise, they also finished the piece of rug they cut off, giving me two usable rugs. They did a great job on both pieces and they were very inexpensive as well. Short story, be patient with them, they do reasonably priced, excellent work. I would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

We are on the search for 5 10x14 rugs. We've heard great things about this place however the last two times we arrived the store has been closed even during the posted open hours on the door. He then cleaned and repaired the rugs while consulting with us on how much each would cost. His work was fabulous! We are very pleased. We had a wonderful experience here with Nick. We came in early on a Wednesday looking for a very specific type of rug. Nick listened to us explain exactly what we were looking for and directed us to where our best options were. We were worried the prices would be too high but ended up leaving with two rugs for what we were willing to pay for one after looking through their inventory for a good 30+ minutes. Nick not only adjusted the lights so we could see what the rugs would look like under non florescent bulbs, but also vacuumed them, tied them up, and even brought them to the car. And he hauled the old one away. These things are heavy and awkward. I appreciated his help. One of the reviewers for Arizona Rug Co. complained that the rug she bought was not the exact size. That is common, according to information I found online. The rug I purchased is nominally 9 X 12. It is actually 8 feet, 10 inches by 12 feet, 2 inches. We picked out an area rug that we liked. It was the right design and size. When we got it home and started cutting the pad we realized that the size of the rug was smaller than the labels read. It was about 4 inches less in both directions. When we brought this to the owners attention, he said he had never had that happen before. Uh huh and the moon is made of cheese. He could not imagine why a rug manufacturer would want to change the measurement. Welllll how about they can charge more for a larger rug. He never offered to refund any money. I recently had the flooring updated in my home, replacing carpet with tile, and needed area rugs for several rooms. I had visited several different stores, none of which had anything close to what I wanted. I looked at the Arizona Rug company's site, and found a wonderful rug. I went to the Tempe site to see if they had it in stock but it had to be ordered. Dennis at the Tempe store was outstanding. He showed me rugs that had the same material and "feel" so that I would have an idea of what the rug would be like, and Greg from the Scottsdale store provided updates as to when the rug would be shipped, when it arrived in Phoenix, and asked which store I would like to go to once it was here. I found another rug in stock which I purchased in addition to the two I ordered. Dennis made sure that I could examine the rugs completely, and provided good cleaning advice and pointers on padding. We recently bought a condo in the West Valley. It has wall to wall tile flooring so we were in need of some sound deadening and a splash of color to decorate our new living space.
