When I explained I wanted to buy a couch, he launched into a lecture about how people come in to try his furniture and then buy it online elsewhere. I was honestly shocked by how rude and defensive he was. If price-matching is a concern, just offer it! I was ready to buy, but the attitude made me reconsider. And, wow, yet again, they did not disappoint. The love seat and chair I bought are of a very good quality, but priced below the prices of some of chain furniture stores in which I searched. The only reason that I would give it three stars is because of prices. The store was a lot more expensive than I was expecting from the $$ review. They are right up there with Mor, Ashley, Copenhagen, Living spaces....but there is more custom options if ur willing to wait a week to three weeks. I'm not sure why it only has two dollar signs but it should be more like three. They have very high-quality customizable options. But I was looking more for kid friendly couches right now. They delivered expensive recliners that were both damaged, and Chad claimed that I didn't understand leather (I was ranch raised) and instead of sending me new chairs, he took them back. Love it! I've been looking for a recliner for a few months so I've experienced the "Furniture Store Attack" quite a few times recently. It was a joy to walk in and not feel like a target for another salesperson. I was greeted politely and then they were available if I had questions. I found what I was looking for and they were great in helping me sort through the numerous fabric or leather options. I suspected the price was fair but at that point I didn't care because I was loving the way they helped me. (When I got home I checked pricing online and the price I paid was in-line). My girlfriend and I searched for 3 days to find furniture that we really liked. We found that Furniture Plus carried what we wanted. We waited 2.5 months for our furniture with a 50% deposit on the furniture. The furniture showed up damaged and dirty. $3,200 for 2 chairs. We were told that this was a family business. The owner is Chad Carling. Never do business with this company. They don't stand behind their product and they treat you as though you are an idiot who knows nothing about furniture. This place is hands down the best business to get a couch from. We replaced our only 2 year old couches that were falling apart with a completely customized piece from here and LOVE it. Me and my wife went in here today. After looking on their website and prices and reading reviews on the net it seemed like a good place. The store isn't bad though it is a little small. They didn't have everything in stock that was on their website. They have some good values on sofa's and sectionals. Also their leather sofas are really nice but a little out of my cheap price range. Me and my wife actually found something that we both liked. It was a sofa/love seat set, both with recliners. and the love seat also rocked. The material was that fake leather stuff and looks nice and should clean up well since we have a baby. They were marked at 619 each so after tax and delivery it would have been around 1434.42. The love seat had a little bump in it from a repair so the sales guy knocked 100 of that and 20 of both of them for being the floor models. We ended up paying 1280 for the set after tax and deliversy. I tired to talk the sales guy into 1250 cash but he wasn't having it. sales people aren't pushy but there when you need them. There is an upstairs with no elevator and even with a wheelchair you wouldn't be able to navigate through downstairs very easy do to furniture close together. We had a stroller and I put it back in the car. We live in downtown phoenix and the cost of delivery was 85 which seemed kind of high but what can you do I guess. Made the total price a little higher then I wanted. Bought on Saturday and scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. read more

FANTASTIC STORE!!! When I first went to that store I was pretty impressed because it is a lot bigger than it seems from the outside. Still the selection on the floor isn't as good as some of the other guys but the best part is they can order anything. So just go to any store pick out what you want and go over the Furniture Plus and talk to Chad or Aaron and they'll save you probably $100 or so on your purchase. We had that experience when we purchased our first couch/love seat set not long after we were married and we went back there last week when it was time for a new set and we had the same experience. I purchased carpeting for my nursery from furniture plus. I walked into the store and loved it, it was like a little ma and pa shop and i always like doing business with the underdogs. I worked with a man named CJ, who at the time was very helpful and made me want to do business with him. I left there after receiving a reasonable quote and went to home depot to see what they could do. They price matched me, i went home, thought about it and decided i would rather do business with the smaller company who had offered to install it the very next day I called cj back and paid down the deposit of half the amount due. He then told me he was unable to come the next day due to another job. Well we decided the following wed would work. So i made sure we were home wed bc they were coming between 8-10 am. No call, no nothing. Finally at 11, i called store and they said he was out at another job and he would call me. Finally he got a hold of us and he said the carpet wasnt even in arizona like he sold it to me thinking it was. So we rescheduled for friday between 8-10. Again, no call, no nothing. I once again contacted store and to my surprise, he was at lunch and i spoke with his very polite mother. He returned my call and said, oh it wasnt on the truck again. Lets shoot for the next wed. I will know by tues night for sure if load comes in. Another lovely wed comes and goes and he actually calls me to tell me the carpets not here. Finally the next week, 2 hispanic gentleman show up at my door and say "carpet install?" after i received no forewarning that the carpet was actually here. The workers were very efficient and did a good job, as for cj's customer service, if u are not spending a lot of money, dont expect good communication. But i will say he will be sure to follow up on making certain he gets paid! I hope on the furniture end, their customer service is a lot better than his was. I ordered a dining set from them in mid-December 2014. They said it would be about four weeks to delivery. I called in mid-January to check on the order, and they said that it was coming from SLC and we had just missed the truck and they only come down once a month. Fine. They called in mid-February to let me know that my table was here, and it was cracked. They were going to deliver it anyway, so I'd have a table, and were ordering a replacement immediately. I called in April to see where my table was.... something about a dockworker's strike, but it would be there next week! Now it is JUNE and I am still staring at a cracked table. Six months after ordering. Sorry, I am pretty forgiving, but this is absurd. Take your money elsewhere. read more

First, I love that you can customize nearly everything. I ordered 2 "custom" couches and an oversize ottoman for a very reasonable price, I could have possibly gotten slightly cheaper through another store but I liked the mom and pop feel of this place. I was told it would take about 6 weeks for them to get in (normally I hate waiting) but I knew it was worth it to get exactly what we wanted. They actually came in 2 weeks early and Furniture Plus delivered them to me the next day. 1 week later we noticed a very small hole in one of the couch cushions. It was so small we thought about just flipping it over to the other side and not bothering with what we assumed would be a hassle. After flipping the cushion we found an even bigger hole on the underside of the other cushion (have to flip and reverse for it to work), which was too big to ignore. I called furniture plus and Bruce said he would order 2 new covers for me ASAP. I regret not finding them before we had ordered some of our other furniture from another not so pleasant place. read more
