From the moment they started our seamless aluminum metal roof replacement I was beyond impressed with how smoothly and professionally everything transpired. David at DC Roofing has been excellent from the start -- responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and transparent. I chose him because of his abundance of knowledge, strong 5-star ratings, fair pricing, eye for perfection, and his exceptional integrity. Since November 2025 he patiently answered all my questions and followed up regularly. He submitted our Collier County permit the same day I signed and sent the permit number to me immediately. The crew (all direct employees, no subcontractors) is outstanding. They're skilled, efficient, respectful, and keeping the entire jobsite very organized and well protected. Every area -- driveway, lawn, landscaping, and pool -- is carefully covered. There are photos showing the start of our roof replacement to the completed finish as well as the crew actively working and installing the new metal panels. I have included wide shots of the organized tear-off phase, the clean installation of the new underlayment, close-up of the protected garage and dumpster area, workers during installation, aerial of the roof, and front of the house, and rear of the house, etc. After dealing with several unprofessional roofing companies in the past (poor communication and surprise costs), working with DC Roofing has been a refreshing and confident experience. His workers found that our roof had some loose and cracked tiles, and they repaired them for free. No charge for the estimate or the work. We were shocked and relieved since another vendor quoted us over $600 for fixing the tiles, and then another $4400 for additional work he said we needed. A total of over $5,000. David said we didn't need the extra work the other vendor suggested and had his men check to make sure. We highly recommend DC roofing for his integrity and customer service. All our friends and neighbors who recommended him had told us he was a fair and honest guy. We learned from our experience that he lives up to this reputation. When we have problems with our roof in the future, he will definitely be our first call.

Well our experience with Alpha was very disappointing. We contracted Alpha to fix some settling…read morethat had occurred on our pool/lanai. Our lanai is sort of a fat T shape. Pool is on the horizontal top part of the fat T and dining area is on the vertical bottom part. The lanai surface is pavers, the pavers on the bottom of the T are on concrete while the ones on the top of the T (around the pool) are on sand. There is a concrete retaining wall around three sides of the pool portion of the lanai, sort of like a ground level sea wall, and that wall has settled a good deal. We contracted Alpha to raise that sea wall and correct the corresponding paver condition. The contract called for both elements. When the first crew arrived August 10 they installed helical piers to raise and stabilize the wall, which they did. However that raising seriously disrupted the pavers around the pool. When the second crew arrived August 11 to address the pavers they told us the pavers were too seriously settled for the poly fill to be of any use. The Alpha rep who first evaluated the job never said anything about the pavers on the sand being too settled when the contract was entered into, so if they were after the wall raising, it was Alpha's doing. When we pressed Alpha about the issue they pointed to some fine print in the contract that got them off the hook. So a warning to anyone who engages Alpha Foundations for work, be sure to go over the fine print. Alpha will exploit those fine print details to get away with anything they do that damages any part of your property.
