We had a pool deck that was sinking. It looked bad and was very dangerous as a tripping hazard. It addition, the linear drain line wasn't properly working. Rain water went into the drain and then ran under the concrete slab causing additional sinking issues. Big expensive problem was brewing. The deck was down 1/4" on the left side and the right side had dropped 1 1/4". The screened cage was slowly being pulled apart. At some point we expected the concrete deck to start cracking. It is extremely expensive to have a concrete deck removed and replaced with a drain system. But we found a great option. Raise and fully support the concrete slab back to its original position. After serious research, we learned that the old fashion way called "Mud Jacking" was outdated and had too many disadvantages. The newer process of using injected foam was far better. With smaller drilled injection holes, the foam compresses the sand soil and completely fills in all the open gaps created by run off rain. When the process was complete, there was basically no set up time. We could drive an army tank over the slab. We got some estimates and after meeting with Joe at EFS, we wanted to work with them. Rather than have some large company with sub contracted crews or low labor crews that just did enough to keep their job, we felt far safer with EFS. The same two men that come out to work an estimate actually return to do the work themselves. They own the company and have many years of experience. Because they now have a highly respectable reputation with great reviews, they want to create a huge base of totally satisfied customers. In today's world where reviews really matter, the bad guys cannot hide and the good guys are rewarded with new happy customers. We are one of those very happy customers. Our pool deck was quickly and neatly repaired in two hours. EFS cleaned up as if it was their home. They restored our sinking pool deck back to the original position. Just look over the photos and see the before and after images. The best part is the price. Just a tiny little fraction of the cost to rip out and rebuild the deck and linear drain system. POOR WORKMANSHIP, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!…read more All they know is how to send you a bill!! AVOID THESE PEOPLE!! I needed a new roof after hurricane Irma. Crown Roofing started off ok but ended with a nightmare. First of all, they used the wrong ridge tile supports. The tiles don't lay correctly, they sit up very high compared to the surrounding field tiles. I mentioned this to them repeatedly, they tell me it's all done to code. That might be true but it's absolutely not industry standard, I'll post pics. Second, after the job was done I ended up with a significant leak. Water damage was appearing in my living room ceiling. First they said it wasn't leaking and water must have entered during the roof tear off. When the water damage grew larger they admitted it was leaking. Crown repaired the leak that they caused on my brand new roof...a leak that wasn't there before they started. I'll post pics of that too. Then they were completely unable to repair the water damage to the interior drywall. They sent out 2 different contractors over a 6 week period, neither of which knew what the hell they were doing. After they patched and painted, the stains returned. After MANY MONTHS I called in my own contractor who was able to fix the damage that Crown Roofing caused, plus the mold that formed in the attic. When I went up on the roof to take pics, I pulled up on a few random ridge tiles and some of them lifted right up. I marked then with an X, called crown to resecure them, nothing....still loose, have to call someone else. All along they keep sending bills for final payment. I submitted my invoices for the repair work my contractor did and they refused to deduct the total amount from the balance. I was threatened with a lien being put on my house if I refused to pay the amount they demanded. So now I have a new roof with a huge patch on it and ridge cap tiles that sit too high and look wrong. Bad workmanship, leaks, loose tiles, inability to fix water damage and poor customer service.

From an unresponsive field team requiring multiple emails multiple phone calls to get a hold of anyone, to failed promises such as not arriving on the day previously scheduled by them! Two delivering the wrong roof tile, damaging the roof causing a leak this has been a horrible experience and definitely will not recommend this company to anybody here. Overall just a bad contractor to deal with, the sales guy sure was great and talked up a lot of things. But once you sign with them it becomes a gauntlet where you feel like they are the customer and you have to satisfy them which is completely backwards.
