SHE IS A TERRIBLE "SO CALLED BOSS". let's start from the beginning when I first started working at Saxony. It was my first week there, I think my third or fourth day there. I had no idea who she was, I had no idea who the director was, nobody was ever at the front when I came in at 9:30am to greet me. There was always a sticky note on the clock in machine that told me where to go. That whole week was teacher appreciation week. Amanda, came in to the room I was working in and introduced herself... BUT INTRODUCED HERSELF AS KATIES PARTNER, and then right in front of my face gave these two employees both gift cards worth $50 a piece. Mind you it is my first week so I don't expect anything at all. But it would of been nice to of done that NOT right in front of my face, or even a hello card. But not to give other staff members $50 gift cards. But moving on! I started working over at Arbor Village! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT THERE! BIG SHOUT OUT TO PAM AND RACHEL IN THE FRONT! A BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE TEACHERS I WORKED IN THE SCHOOL AGE ROOM( YO-YO,HUNTER, AND CASEY) ! And ANOTHER SHOUT OUT TO THOSE KIDS! THEY WERE AWESOME! I LOVED EVERY BIT OF PLAYING IN THE GYM WITH THEM, KICK BALL, BASKETBALL, YOU NAME IT, Ms.Tracy was right there playing with them! I SHOWED UP FOR WORK, ON TIME! NEVER LATE. AND THEN BOOM.... I had to change my payroll information, and I did that up front with Rachel right next to me and I'm sending Katie pictures making sure I did it correct. They both knew! Well payday came, didn't get paid. THIS IS WHEN IT GETS FISHY... I'm sending Katie screen shots and she's like okay I'll take care of it. Amanda sent me my paystub through my email. And I had to call her because I just had talk to Katie saying it didn't go through for the account, well Amanda said well we will have to issue you a paper check and taxes won't be taken out, which is perfectly fine because I'll just owe them, ME! NOT THEM... well then Amanda messaged Rachel saying issue her a check for this amount. Well I go and open it and my taxes are taken out..... WHAT JOB TAKES TAXES OUT OF A WRITTEN CHECK ???? THAT JUST GIVES YOU FRAUD QUESTIONING ALL OVER IT BUT BUT BUT I DIDNT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT FRAUD, my exact words were how do I know that they are being paid? They CAN EASILY pocket that money. And AMANDA BLEW UP.... HER EXACT WORDS WERE, "TRACY IM NOT KIDDING, IF YOU THINK IM DOING SOMETHING FRAUD THEN TODAY CAN BE YOUR LAST DAY IF YOY WANT IT TOO BE AND SHE HUNG THE PHONE UP ON ME, then calls Katie and I guess tells Katie I cussed her out is what I heard from a couple people. And I guess told Katie she didn't want me working there anymore. So Katie calls me and doesn't even know what to say because she's in the middle... SO LONG STORY SHORT... DONT WORK HERE... OH AND NOT TO MENTION THEY HAD TO ISSUE MY LAST CHECK AS A PAPER CHECK, WHY WEREN'T THE TWXES TAKEN OUT OF MY LAST CHECK??? Doesn't make any sense!!! The building itself is state of the art with a large indoor playground, sensory room (only place I've seen with this type of activity), huge gymnasium for them to blow off steam, and a cool activity center with arcade games, computer activities, tv's, etc. I would highly recommend this establishment to any parents trying to make one of life's most important decisions. Our son (7mo now) has been going since he was 3mo old and I have peace of mind knowing he's well cared for in the infant room. They don't just put your baby in a bouncer and call it a day. They interact with the babies and give them age appropriate activities to make sure they're hitting their milestones and giving them love and attention. My daughter has loved all of her teachers and even grown a special bond with one of the teachers she's gotten to have in her infant room and her toddler room. It's the sweetest! The toddler room seems so fun for our new 2 year old with lots of arts and crafts and learning activities (she learned how to count to five in what seemed like a week)! They also have a Spanish class every day which I love. The new gym they recently added on is really nice for the kids during gym time- it's just like an elementary size school gym so lots of room for kids to get rid of energy. The building is well kept and they've been doing upgrades as needed- they just got new floors. The staff has always been very kind and helpful! Krista the director has been amazing! We get weekly lesson plans and a monthly newsletter with everything that'll be happening. I'm so happy my babies are safe and happy here, we love it!

As both a mother of a child that attended Weston school, and an employee of Weston school, I could…read morenever recommend this establishment to anyone. Understaffing is a severe issue because they treat their employees like trash, which means the children get shuffled endlessly around to different rooms, even during meals/snacks they are forced to move from room to room, often having to bring their plates of food with them. The children are so disregulated and bored there is frequent fighting and massive behavioral issues that teachers try to quell, but with limited success due to the frequency and severity and the amount of students with issues like hitting, throwing hard objects and biting and attacking staff. My daughter started out loving coming to school but by a few weeks in she would cry every day and beg me not to make her go. She frequently shook, cried, and clung to myself and her father as she entered a classroom full of behaviors like screaming and tackling. There is a mold issue in the school that is not addressed, there are very little supplies, and almost nothing available to implement the curriculum. The burden of fighting for these items is placed squarely on the shoulders of teachers. We're frequently forced to come in sick, a coworker was even forced to come in actively vomiting, having to carry around grocery bags to vomit into in case she could not be relieved from the classroom to vomit privately in time. The cost is astronomical when you consider that the curriculum is not implemented in most classrooms, children play with the same bins of toys day in and day out with little variance while also being shuffled along in a hyper-structured formulaic day. The food is BAD quality. I frequently had to serve green bananas, spoiled celery, grayish hotdogs etc, and children never receive a full bun, only half! We were literally required to serve every "sandwich" or hot dog open faced or with a half bun because of serving size requirements. It was pathetic and every new teacher who came in had issues with the portion sizes. We also gave children water unfiltered directly from the tap. No filtration system for the water. I was prompted to hide refilling the water pitcher from parents because they KNOW it's wrong. Toxic environment for children and staff, stay away from The Weston School. Everything is a facade to look good for NAEYC meanwhile the children suffer for the school to look good on paper. Sad.

I went in excited, motivated, and ready to build relationships with the children and families, and they truly were the best part of every single day. The parents, the students, their smiles, their joy... those moments were the only thing that made showing up worth it. Unfortunately, everything else was overshadowed by management practices that, in my opinion, drained teacher morale faster than I have ever seen in any school or childcare setting. From day one, I noticed inconsistent treatment among staff. I was written up for things other teachers did daily and far louder than I ever was, yet nothing seemed to happen when they did the exact same things. It quickly became clear that concerns were only heard when your voice was loud unless someone in management did not like who you were. Rules were different depending on the person, and it created an environment of fear and distrust. Teacher turnover is unbelievably high, and not because the job is hard, but because many of us felt there was no trust, no respect, and no support coming from management. Several staff members shared their discomfort with being pressured to work while sick, even when clearly not well enough to care for children. Disagreeing with management on even small things often led to threats of write ups or termination. It felt less like a workplace and more like walking on eggshells every single day. During my first month, I used a simple educational song during curriculum time, something I have used in multiple previous centers with no issue. Instead of receiving guidance or feedback, I was told that using an iPad for teaching was unacceptable and that if I did it again, I would be pulled into the office. That moment alone showed me how little creativity or flexibility was allowed, even though so many teachers there hold associates, bachelors, or even masters degrees. Hearing leadership say that our education does not mean anything without a short term certificate was, in my opinion, incredibly disrespectful to the hard work educators put into their training. As a teacher and a parent, I found the lack of consistent behavior support and classroom management deeply concerning. When children were being consistently harmed by peers, I often saw little being done to address repeated behaviors. Incidents were minimized or brushed aside, leaving teachers feeling powerless and families unknowingly trusting that everything was being handled properly. It is heartbreaking seeing children go home with injuries and knowing nothing is truly being done to prevent it from happening again. I know for a fact that more than a dozen teachers have left or are looking for new jobs, not because they do not love teaching, but because their confidence, self worth, and passion were worn down day after day. These were floaters, lead teachers, assistants, people from every part of the building. When so many educators from so many roles all feel the same way, that should say something. If you are a current family, I strongly encourage you to pay attention, ask questions, and trust your instincts. If you are a parent searching for a daycare, please know there are many other options nearby that treat both teachers and children with the respect, support, and care they deserve. I wish I had known before accepting a job and before trusting this place with children. I hope sharing my personal experience helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

They send you a daily report about the activities she did and also how these activities help with her development. We also get a photo each day around lunch time! When my daughter misses a day, she is anxious to get back to her friends and school family. I actually feel guilty when I keep her home, because I know she will miss a worthwhile lesson. She has been in three different classrooms in 7 months, but only because the administrators insist on placing children in the classroom that best suits their development pace. In her first classroom, her teachers managed to get her about 85% potty-trained within her first week of school. We were amazed. Also, as a neat freak, I love that the school is kept tidy. I always notice upgrades to the facility and new toys. Lastly, at this location, many extracurricular activities are planned for the students and their families. We look forward to each one!

For the infants, there are three rooms with eight babies in each room. And moving onward from that age, there are more and more kids due to less caretakers per child ratios. The staff were welcoming and gave us a tour. They shared the fact that they are open from 7 AM to 6 PM and you can drop off and pick up your child whenever you need to during that window. They also give you the option to do part time and pick the days you would like to attend. Each year, they offer two weeks of vacation where you can skip the tuition for that week. They also seem to have fun events like picture day, egg hunts, child recognition ceremonies, and more. We are happy we stumbled across this spot for our daughter.
