He had a terrible experience years ago at another vet, so I was very apprehensive about bringing him in. Joy was SO helpful and so understanding over the phone. She gave me a game plan to bring him - with the least amount of distractions for him. I already felt so much better about the visit before we got there. We got there today and let me just say.. WOW! They. Were. Absolutely. Amazing. Dr. Haines and the nurse Mackenzie - were already in the exam room waiting for us, treats in hand. They were so welcoming that he warmed up to them immediately. Puppers didn't even need his muzzle- which he was THRILLED about- because he hates it! We now have a plan moving forward, to get him all fixed up and I'm beyond happy. Let's just say- when we got back to the car- I sobbed! I was so relieved and happy!! Then I came straight here to leave this review! And I will leave it on every site I can!! Maybe I'm the one who needs the meds to relax Seriously - I 2845891% recommend this place if you have an anxious pet like mine!

It was obvious that he was not interested in us saying anything as we were just supposed to keep our mouths shut. Not gonna happen. We have every right to care for our pet's health as we see fit and if we feel we need to inquire of our Vet on how to do this, we have every right to do so. Dr.Gables was VERY RUDE to us and showed no empathy or compassion whatsoever. Our other cat died at the beginning of this month and we told him this twice and he could not even bring himself to offer condolences. Think about this people... What does it say to you about a Vet that after you express some concerns about certain aspects of your pet's test results, the response is "Your cat's gonna die and there aint nothing you can do about it so just accept it" . No interest in helping our cat live as long and healthy as possible...just slamming us for being "obsessive" for asking questions about how to best care for the health of our cat. There is something seriously wrong with this man in my opinion because he was not like this when I first met him. If you are interested in going to a Vet that actually cares about your pet and will treat you with respect and empathy, then LOOK ELSEWHERE!

We brought our cat to VetMed for a dental cleaning on 6/15/26. Dr Gables had seen our other cat…read moreabout 5 months before and provided sound insights for him as an aging cat (he was 14) with health concerns and answered our questions. Fast forward to yesterday with our remaining cat. We shared that our cat he saw months before had since passed away and we asked questions about recent labs performed for his brother and how to assess the lab results, that although currently in a normal range seemed to be trending downward from previous results. In essence, Dr. Gables told us we were too intense, and were obsessing about normal results based on information we pulled online. He asserted that our cat at age 14 had likely lost 40% of his kidney function and that we needed to just accept the normal course of a cat aging. Yet in the same breath, he asserted that he didn't know anything about our cat or his health since he had not been his vet and this was his first interaction with him. How could he assert our cat had limited kidney function if this was his first time seeing him and his labs were normal? His behavior and demeanor were shocking strange, hurtful and insulting, especially considering that he took our money and acted like a champion for preventive health and early detection and diagnosis for our other cat from the prior visit. He essentially freaked out and refused to do the dental cleaning. This pivot in behavior is concerning and I cannot recommend this practice to other pet owners, especially those with elderly pets.

Up until this year she hasn't had any sort of health problems, and because of that, I just kind of let go of the feeling I was getting from these guys. But our girl developed a pretty bad UTI, naturally we brought her up in order to get an exam and antibiotics. This is where these guys dropped the ball. They gave us a week of antibiotics while we waited for her culture to come back but they let us know there was a refill available for us to pick up once that came back (another weeks worth, so 14 days total is what she should have had) The week goes by and my partner reaches out to them to arrange pickup for the refill, this is when they tell him that because our girl was "showing signs of improvement" the antibiotics worked and we didn't need anymore. Mind you-- She was STILL peeing blood and straining. When I called they flat out refused to give her anymore medication because they "only give 7 days of antibiotics for everyone and that should be enough." Didn't offer to retest her, but instead decided to try to pressure us into having her put to sleep in order to do an xray... We had a different vet reach out for her documents so we could seek a second opinion, and MAGICALLY our refill was approved! On top of all of this mess, every time information was available we had to reach out to them. They didn't reach out to us, they would have let her suffer through the weekend without medication if we hadn't of hounded them, which is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. If you care about your pet and their health, I wouldn't bring them here. The techs are wonderful but the doctors and the front desk staff have irritated me to no end. Also these guys may claim that they're more budget friendly but I promise they are not. Their services are marked up like crazy. So not only is it below par care but also ridiculously expensive!

How about the fact that it appears they don't even do the actual medical work as they claim they do? Today I had to put down my kitten who was spayed here just yesterday. When they released her to me, she was very lethargic, and barely could breathe. Bringing her back in today, it turns out she had a collapsed lung likely due to pneumonia, and likely infection relating to kidney issues. As far as I'm aware, no apparent tests were run that would check for any of this beforehand. Additionally, on discharge, the checkup form they gave me indicated that they had checked her respiratory abilities and found no issue. It appears that they did not check for this on release though, as I suspect they would have noticed something was wrong. Unfortunately as a non-trained professional, it was just assumed to be the reaction from the anesthesia. The kitten's condition and breathing was in the same state from the moment I picked her up to the moment she was put down. To make this more frustrating, the clinic also couldn't keep her there to attempt to save her over the weekend, as they didn't have weekend staff. Instead they recommended to pass her off to an ER location that would cost $3000 a day for a chance of her to make a recovery. In the end the hard decision was made to end her suffering, despite her short life lived. Of course there's really nothing the public can do, as the wonderful animal medical system often feels like a massive hustle for the consumer and leaves you with no legs to stand on. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. I believe there are much better, and cheaper, options in town.

Sent an email to request a visit, then called early the next day. To our surprise she arrived that same day with an assistant. She's worked for a few of the local "vet-in-a-box" veterinary clinics, she just decided to leave the corporate run shops in favor of her own... They did the accustomed evaluation of Bailey in our house (she has a large van if needed) and gave her recommendations talking us through the pros/cons of each. She has a supply of animal medications with her and called the pharmacy for those that she didn't have with her. Our pet, while old, wasn't acting normal. Happy to say, 24 hours later, the old gal is up and running almost %. The concern of quality of life is all but gone! Not sure why I never heard of a mobile vet before, but I'd call her again in a heartbeat!
