Absolutely great experience! Our daughter recommended going here for a family dinner. She loves the Fufu. It was the wife's and my first time experiencing African cuisine and it did not disappoint. I ate myself passed full. We got the Tilapia that was recommend by our server, Jollof chicken, chicken fufu, and the fried plantains. We also were brought out a bowl of the groundnut soup to try for free and it was delicious. The tilapia was amazing something I would definitely get again. The food and service were amazing. The owner walked us through the menu describing each item and how they were made . He was fun to talk to and seemed genuinely happy to share foods from his country- and we were thrilled to try them. We ordered several different dishes and each of the six of us found a favorite. The soups with the fufu was a really nice combination. The fried chicken was no overcooked. Some of the flavors were flavors I've never experienced - and my dish was really tasty. Absolutely incredible! This is my new favorite restaurant! Everything here is amazing, starting with the warm greeting and service. So very helpful finding something you will love. Its my second time here, and I got so many things to try! I LOVE the goat soup with fufu, the banko okro stew, and the grilled tilapia!! Everything is so fresh and clearly made with passion and love. Lady was throwing down in the kitchen, no lie. I got the jollof chicken and rice and it was positively scran. My girlfriend got the plantain stew, which she ate until her stomach hurt. I had a bite and informed her after we left that there was definitely fish in the stew, which is a food heretofore she has completely abhorred and refused to eat. ArkCleoRich has converted her. It was our first time eating African food. The service was amazing ! The woman who attended us was genuine and kind. The food was great! I recommend the fufu and the Joba rice I think it was called... it was amazing ! For soups, we got the goat but I think next time we'd get the chicken just because it was very bold. Stumbled across this little restaurant looking for the Pho place that used to be there. 100% thrilled to have tried something new. We were greeted immediately and once they realized we had meant to get Pho but were willing to try something new suggestions were made. Authentic Ghanaian food. I had their fufu and groundnut soup, no difference between that dish and hat I'm used to in Ghana. Definitely will visit again. The food isn't do-it-yourself though, they prep what they can and make the rest for you whiles you're there so your meal is fresh. read more
