I didnt know i liked espresso shots this much until frankly. The shot has notes of coco and fruit similar to a high quality chocolate bar but in a genuine way. They also give you a shot of tonic water since the shot on its own is strong. The other coffee is good as well. Smoothy ans creamy but the espresso is the highlight. The staff is friendly and is great to answer any question or strike up a conversation. The only down side is the size. It fits about 6 inside and a decent amount out but thats not too bad since it doesnt get to packed. Overall probably my favorite espresso plave and one of my favorites in the springs read more

This place has one of the best London Fog teas I've ever had! Normally, I'm always a bit worried about coffee shops because, let's face it, they love coffee, and I'm a lonely tea lover. But this place was great! They also had my favorite Pain au Chocolat, aka Chocolate Croissants. Park on the street, pop in and order, and take a minute to enjoy it on their lovely patio. read more

One of my favorites! They have a pretty good cold brew and some delicious specialty coffees. Service is friendly and fast. The location is convenient and there are usually a few street parking spaces out front. Prices are average. The cafe is small so in the winter it could have limited seating, but they have outdoor seating as well which is nice on sunny days. I enjoyed the lavender vanilla latte. I have to be Frank(ly) this coffee shop missed the mark for me. We passed by and decided to stop in for a quick afternoon pick me up. The baristas were super nice and the service was quick. However, the interior is quite small and really hard to move around in. One of the other customers had a large dog inside which I'm not a huge fan of both from a cleanliness perspective and a safety perspectives (and I love dogs), especially disappointing considering they had an outdoor patio with seating. I got an americano and the beans were a tad too sour for my taste. My sisters cappuccino had a similar issue. Overall, was not my favorite coffee experience but the potential is there! read more

Yum yum yum!!! Every drink we got was fantastic! The matcha was the perfect ratio and the oat milk was so yummy. The yuzu was surprisingly tasty and we had never had a horjicha but it was so good i would recommend! The chai was a but more spicy then I expected but still very good, expect a subtle burn. The service was fast for the four of us and only one person on staff. Barista seemed really indifferent about us, not super kind but not rude either. Just not really friendly i guess. Makes great drinks though! My only complaint is how small the shop is but theres lots of outside seating, just not ideal for the heat. read more

Pricey, yet delicious and aesthetic coffee shop between downtown and old Colorado city. I tried a dirty chai latte and will say that the chai is more on the spicy side than sweet-quite good! I paired it with an almond croissant which was to die for. Very small coffee shop, but there is some seating if you'd like to stay. I would say it's best for take away. read more

While I was ordering a man with admitted mental health challenges came in and was chatting us up. Both guys behind the counter were very kind and patient with him and listened to his story rather than shooing him away. It struck a chord with me for some reason. Anyhoo. Good coffee. Good pastries. I stopped by Frankly Coffee so unexpectedly because I was around an area for a massage/spa business...but the business didn't respond..so I had an hour or two to kill before my next meeting started. I drove passed Frankly Coffee and decided to stop by to just chill and enjoy my weekend morning meeting and was so glad I did! I had iced Mexican Mocha (mocha with a little bit of spice) and a chocolate queenlet. I honestly didn't know what type of pastry it was..but I think it's sort of a puff pastry (that got piped with Chocolate cream in this case...though I think they had another option of caramel flavor as well). What I liked was the environment there...the staff was very polite and nice.it was pretty chill sitting outside in their outdoor patio area and just enjoying the morning...along with wonderfully tasted coffee. I don't really have coffee so often..but once in a while..it's a nice treat to just enjoy my morning. I thought the pastry was good (though slightly expensive....but I think it was sort of locally made..so that's ok). Everyone at the patio area seemed to just enjoy their morning. Frankly coffee is literally the best coffee shop in Colorado Springs and in Manitou Springs. They are located in Colorado Springs but only 7 minutes away from Manitou-- so no matter which way you live, they have the best coffee drinks in the area. I've been here about 4-5 times and I think I'm hooked for life! This place is going to be the best neighborhood coffee shop in town-- I just know it! I bet they'll be around for a very long time, probably becoming a neighborhood favorite. I've become addicted to their almond latte, plain. They make it just as you like it. If you ask for extra foam or extra hot or extra shot, they'll do it however you want it. And they do it just right, every single time. It's priced well for the quality drink you are getting and the taste and execution of their drinks is Awe-mazing! My drink runs 5.5 and totally worth it! And can I mention that their pastries are freaking bomb?! I had their Nutella Queente, probably spelling that wrong BUT it's out of this world delish and also reasonably priced. Frankly has become my new favorite spot not only for their amazing coffee but because their service is friendly and personable--like a genuine neighborhood coffee shop should be. I visited Frankly Coffee on May 21, 2024, whilst on honeymoon. My wife and I ordered a decaf latte as well as a matcha to go. While waiting on drinks, Hannah, the barista, was extremely hospitable. She spoke with sweetness that felt rare in Colorado Springs. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the service. The space it self was small, but cozy. The hospitality from Hannah brought a home-like feeling to the space. The drinks tasted like they were made with a lot of experience and love. Frankly Coffee is a good shop, but Hannah makes it great. I highly recommend this small little coffee shop. read more

Had a latte today and then was getting some work done as I had some time to kill. This guy walked in with a dog, a bully breed, pit bull or similar which was actually off-leash till right before he walked in the door. The lash was however pretty much a moot point due to the confined space of the shop and also the owners unwillingness to control the dog. It was sniffing at my feet and I said "excuse me" and he reined it in briefly, but in a minute or two it was back. I'm not ok being forced to interact with someone's dog in general, but especially not one of these bully breeds which is statistically more likely to be aggressive and can seriously injure or even kill someone. This coffee shop should seriously consider a "service animals only" sign, especially given the confined space. I'll not be back until I hear it has one. read more
