Tom also video recorded a little the first day to show how we started and later progressed. The practice facilities were great! He explained things in a way we understood and helped us identify what we were doing incorrectly so we could fix. He has already been in contact 3 times since we left two weeks ago and I can't say enough good things about the experience. I feel more confident and with practice (which Tom identified where would be the best time spent practicing) I will 100% improve my golf game and my knowledge of my swing. A few disturbing things that I noticed....there is no ATM on the entire property. That's weird. They have a pro shop and a bar/restaurant and it's a golf club where people bet. The other item is the wait staff in the restaurant. For some reason when they give us a bill they point out that there is a 20% service charge on the tab but it goes to the facility and they do not get any of it. At the bottom of the menu there is a notation about the 20% service charge for the administration for the food and beverage services and then it states "No additional gratuity is expected or required". We found this odd. We felt strong armed into leaving an additional 20%. We are there for a few days coming in and out every day. If we didn't tip extra we felt we would pay the price with bad service or worse.... Not sure why the menu states one thing and we are told something different by the wait staff. Regardless the property is awesome and the golf is AMAZING!

The latter seems odd because technically I've already paid for that spot ... and now I'm getting double charged. not sure if it's legal but it's unethical. Other than than that... you typically have to book weeks in advance to get a spot in a class. some instructors are fabulous. others are ok. equipment is new and clean. because the classes are all booked back to back with 5 mins in between it can be a little bit disruptive and rushed. the extra charge for the forgotten class is the nail in the coffin. I won't be back.
