The first time I ever played golf this way, was when Drive Shack opened in West Palm Beach, which was a huge hit. This place has the same concept but on a much smaller scale. Honestly, that's not a bad thing--sometimes simpler is better. It's not chaotic and there aren't a million people everywhere. It almost feels like a secret hangout that hasn't been discovered yet. They also have traditional golf if you prefer to play outdoors and walk the course or take a golf cart. But sitting in the shade on a comfortable couch with a nice fan cooling you down while your own waitress takes your drink and food order sounds a lot better to me. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, which was perfectly fine with me. Prices seemed pretty typical for places like this--about $40 an hour. I also saw an advertisement for a weekday special: Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM, you can play all you want for $20. That's a great deal for anyone who doesn't work a traditional 9-to-5 job. I'm not sure if that's going to still be advertised in the summer when kids are out of school, but either way it's a pretty affordable way to kill a few hours. Our waitress was such a peach--super attentive with an amazing, fun attitude. She had such a great personality and really made the experience even better. The only downside is that they don't have liquor, so I'm guessing they don't have a full liquor license ? They do have beer and seltzers, and interestingly they offer sangria and mimosas. My guess is that they're wine-based without any added liquor. They do have a pretty decent food menu with plenty of options. You have a variety of flatbreads sandwiches, salads, and your typical bar food options. Overall, this place was a lot of fun. I took my nephew and we played a bunch of the games they have on the flatscreens. We were on the first floor, and when I asked about sitting on the second floor she mentioned they only open it when they have more servers and it gets busier. I would definitely recommend coming here--but maybe don't tell too many people, because this hidden gem might turn into a total zoo one day. There really isn't anything else like it around here, and I'm glad I finally checked it out.

They laid off a huge portion of the staff without any warning, and it shows. If you're receiving slow service, poor quality, or an overall disappointing experience, this is exactly why. Management does not appear to understand how to run a restaurant or value either their employees or their customers. Instead of creating a place people want to come back to, they've created an environment that feels disorganized and poorly operated. Thinking maybe the golf course would be a better experience, we decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. The bathrooms were infested with wasps, which is completely unacceptable, and to make matters worse, I was harassed by the course "rangers" over riding in a golf cart that I had already paid for. Between the awful management, declining service, unacceptable conditions, and overpriced course, I regret spending my money here. There are plenty of places that actually value their customers. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

The best thing about The Saints Golf Course is the $35 price point for 18 holes on a Sunday. At…read morethat price, it is absolutely worth playing. The greens were nice and appeared to be in good condition, but they were incredibly slow. The course itself is extremely flat and wide open, and it reminded me a little bit of Okeeheelee in West Palm Beach. There is not a lot of trouble off the tee, and in many places it feels like an open field with greens and flags. One important thing to know is that most of the bunkers are currently under construction. There is new piping and gravel throughout many of them, with holes around the piping covered up and little or no sand. A handful of the bunkers have been completed and have beautiful new sand, but most are essentially ground under repair. If your ball goes into one of those bunkers, you really have no choice but to take it out and play from around the bunker because the bunker itself is not playable. I am not sure I would recommend this course to better players looking for a challenging layout, strong course conditions, or a serious test of their game. However, it is an incredibly fun track for beginners, families, and couples who simply want to come out, hit the ball, laugh, and enjoy a relaxed round of golf. There are other courses in and around this area that are in better overall condition and more appropriate for mid- to low-handicap players. Those courses may cost twice as much, but they will provide more of what experienced golfers are generally looking for in a golf course. Again, I want to be very clear: The Saints is absolutely worth $35 for 18 holes. It is a very good value for what it is. Just understand that it is currently a basic, open layout with extremely slow greens and most of the bunkers under construction.

Last week the mechanism broke off and I went back to the store. I had the tube, showed it to 2 employees. One said he couldn't help me as I had paid cash and there was no record of the purchase. He even brought me a kid's tube, loaded with plastic ball--and which was clearly not the same produce at what I purchased--and told me they would not give me a store credit. Apparently, they don't sell the tube I purchased any more. The treatment I received is unacceptable and over a $20 store credit not only has Golf Galaxy lost me as a regular customer, but I will tell people who ask me about Golf Galaxy to go somewhere else. Short-sighted employees do more harm to a business that shows up on a balance sheet. Bye Bye, Golf Galaxy.

After hitting a few balls, while video was shot, we reviewed what he saw. I never realized how strange my swing looked to others. With a little coaching he got it to look better. Arlen gave constructive criticism but nothing to make me feel bad. Just some positive input & slight adjustment info. My husband's adjustments were a bit more pronounced, but Arlen made it so simple to teach him what to change. His training tool got my husband's swing where it needed to be seamlessly. At the end of our session Arlen discussed chipping, pitching, & putting. This was really informative. We plan to hit the driving range & practice green & expect we'll be seeing lower scores soon. If we were permanent FLA residents I'm sure we would be building a long-term relationship with Arlen.

That's not a typo - up until one month ago the greens fees with a cart were around $30. Now they're $52 - $55 and the course is in terrible shape. We've always put up with traps without sand and greens with bare spots because it was $30. Yesterday the greens were entirely brown after the maintenance crew did a half-assed job of aerating the greens two weeks prior without filling the holes with sand and then mowing it down to the nubs. It's an absolute joke to call them greens. And the geniuses who decided that hiring a marketing firm and raising prices would put them on par with the real golf courses in the area decided that a no-walking policy on weekends until after 3:00 pm would also be a good idea. It's obvious the government operates this course because there's no business sense behind any of their decisions. The photo is the ninth "green" identified only because there's a hole with a flag in it.

From what I've gathered the course has been here for a while (formerly Sandpiper Bay, or something like that), was closed/abandoned for some period of time, and a new management company brought it back to life last year. It still needs some time for the grass to grow and beef up in some places, and it's not as refined as Augusta National; but, if you haven't played in a while, have a group of friends who need to knock the rust off, or even want to play with a group of newbies, Trident is the place to come.
