I decided to give it a try and was very happy with the outcome. Not only did the price seem fair, but the people are extremely friendly. A little while later, I had a problem with my remote starter freezing up my car and thought I would have to get my car towed as I was unable to start it. I called only to ask if it was okay to have it dropped off there, fully assuming I would be paying big bucks for this. Instead, Jason walked me through the process so I could start it myself. It was a simple fix, but he stayed on the phone with me the full ten minutes that it took to restart. My most recent visit was scary. My car was making a loud rumble and I knew there was an actual problem. I took it in and Jason came out with me to check it out. Oil was spraying everywhere under the good and he let me know immediately that my engine may not be salvageable. I prepared myself for a bill in the thousands IF he was even able to fix it. He called today and let me know that I was very lucky and that it was something to do with an oil seal thingy and that the engine was okay. (For now.) I know nothing about cars, but I do know that this is a very honest business and that I do not need to worry when I take my car to them. It is truly in good hands.

I don't know if you'd run into many honest car repair shops like that these days. Also, this is the most modern looking waiting area I've ever seen. I didn't find the usual dusty auto repair shop here. Everything looks to be organized by computer and they even offered to e-mail me a receipt! I was helped by a a really nice guy. If I actually lived in Winnipeg, I'd definitely have Keystone do all my auto repair work just based on the honesty and how clean their whole auto shop looked; but since I was just passing through as a traveler, I'll just have to make do with my local repairman in my hometown (who I don't think is as honest!)

We were told our SUV wouldn't pass an Safety Inspection due to rust on the rockers--but were still given a nearly $2,000 repair estimate for other work they recommended (not related to the rockers). That didn't add up. If it can't pass safety, why suggest more repairs? Left with concerns about transparency. Recommend asking questions and getting a second opinion.

We were visiting our son, grand-children and great-grand-children in Winnipeg…read more While parked downtown for supper, unfortunately, our vehicle windshield was vandalized on the driver and passenger sides. The next day, we were so fortunate to find DECO on Berry St. They were able to find a replacement windshield within 24 hours, replace the windshield, vacuum the car (glass all over the front seats) & obtain a rental vehicle, as they needed a few extra hours the following day to complete the job. All of this, on a Friday & Saturday morning! The service people, from the front desk to the technicians in the back, were incredibly attentive to our situation (we were heading back to Alberta). We are so thankful for the quality of service, the value received for our money and being able to head home as scheduled.
