By the time you get any help, or any answers, most of the slots for the classes are TAKEN so you have to either enroll for some BS class, or take a class you didn't even want to, in that particular semester. It's almost like they put the online students on the back burner, and IT SUCKS!!!!!! Like they make it so inconvenient & it makes me soooo angry!!!! There's literally NO HELP!!! Idk about other departments, but the SOCIAL WORK DEPARTMENT/ADVISORS, omg, NO!!!!! It would be better if they had MORE THAN ONE freaking advisor per group of last names!!! One advisor per one group of last names is absurd. It slows things down, it makes people frustrated, and discouraged!!!!!!!!!!!!! Idk, I'm kind of regretting starting the social work program here at this school. Good Morning after…read morebeing let go from my previous employer after 8 years, I was left wondering what next - and while the world was in the middle of a global pandemic it was a difficult decision to make while locked up in the house Reassessing , I made the choice to learn a new career. the programs at Peloton College offered choice in careers that will give me an edge to maintaining employment and at any part of the country should I need to in any situation . Medical Billing and Coding was my choice , and I was determined to attain to the best of my ability the course program and achieve a new successful career not only was it a challenge to go back to school but to also overcome the fear after not being in school since high school graduation 1989. and at being an older adult I was second guessing my own abilities. from administrators to the faculty, I never had a second thought about the quality of training and empathy I was getting from Peloton College and also the fact that the curriculum was based in a classroom , and having to attend the classes 90% in a online format due to the pandemic made it more challenging to complete, but my instructor gave me the curriculum in a matter that I could understood and surpass my expectation of what I could achieve myself. Ms. Diana Bowie not only made it understandable but also made the complexity of Medical Billing And Coding easy to grasp and learn. Peloton College's determination to provide students the tools to succeed in new careers is fully demonstrated. I'm not one who is thrilled watching these ceremonies, but this one was fantastic! She was the first one to get her PhD hood and diploma so after she was done I could enjoy talking to the others in our group! I know, that's not being overly nice and respectful to the others but we were on the back row (by design) and kept our voices very low. (FYI, they were live streaming this over the internet.) The facility and organization for this event was perfect! Plenty of parking and the food court near by gave us something to do before we went in. The seating is quite roomy. The campus is easy to find and there are lots of maps online to help get you to where you need to be. The campus had more than enough event signage to make sure I didn't get lost.

This review is for the Dental hygiene program that offers low-cost affordable teeth cleaning along with X rays. I was given the chance from a neighbor who is attending school for dental assistant to clean my children's teeth. I accepted the offer to help her out and provided her the adequate information to get my kids in there for an appointment. As we arrived, we were greeted by the staff and was given paperwork to fill out in the waiting area. Once the paperwork was filled out my daughter was brought to the back room where she was given x-rays of her teeth. After the x-rays were completed, she was brought to another room for her teeth cleaning. I went ahead and sat with her and observed everything happening while the assistant cleaned her teeth. This is a school environment so there were some questions being asked from her to the Dentist but as far as it goes, she performed her duties in a highly explementary manner and needed little to no supervision. The Dentist was around time from time to give her some pointers but other than that she highly excelled in her job performance. Altogether my kids got their teeth cleaned and I didn't even have to use my dental insurance to get it done. I highly recommend this place for a cleaning that doesn't break the bank! I will say it did take quite longer than expected but that's because it's a school and the students are still learning but that is perfectly fine because the results are second to none!

There's a student that currently attends this school who not only failed her first term, she failed it for a second time too! Going off what the rules say she's suppose to be removed from the program. She instead was moved to the next term but there were several students who failed and had to repeat the term again. As far as the teachers, deans and president knowing, they all are aware and is keeping it quiet. They preach about professionalism and accountability in the nursing field so much here but don't hold that same standards. If yall can go somewhere else please do, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!

My youngest is playing football for Texas Wesleyan and it feels more and more like "home" every time we step foot on the campus. This is a place where personal connection to your environment, fellow students, faculty, and staff MATTER. Here the "we care about your child" isn't just spoken, but lived, at every single level of the University. College isn't for everyone. If it's for you (or your child) check out Texas Wesleyan if smaller CAN be better - smaller campus, smaller classes, more tightly reigned focus (after all who really needs a degree in 20 different Chinese dialects?!), and a staff that knows your child's name. This isn't A&M; this isn't TCU. This is like Cheers in a sense - everyone will now your child's name and will do everything they can to make sure they succeed. This is the right fit for my bright, communication-focused, self-directed child; it wasn't about whether he was a big fish in a small pond, or a small fish in a huge pond. This is about finding the right-size pond where he can thrive. I believe with my whole heart that TX Wes is that place. There's a Rosedale Renaissance going on; I can't wait to watch this place and its community get better and better!

The professors are are almost ALL liberal thinkers and Marxist. Critical Race Theory is pushed in almost every class. 1619 is not condemned as fiction and questioning professors blatant biases is mocked. Some classes are even proudly anti American. It is not a safe place for conservatives not Christians.

I attended the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program from August 2019 to 2021…read more This is a great school with small class sizes. Many amazing and knowledgeable instructors, who not only know the material, but have lots of clinical experience as sonographers. Everyone here wants you to succeed. Financial aide helped me apply for FASFA each year and informed me when I qualified for CARES grants. My experience as a student: My first class at the College of Healthcare Professions was Anatomy and Physiology taught by Professor Halle. While this class was a general course, it was our first chance to connect with other future sonographers. We were given group projects to enhance this connection we would hold for the next two years. Professor Halle also taught our class Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Intro to Vascular. For the entirety of the program Mr. Halle always went out of his way to help the students succeed with extensive tutoring sessions and messaging. Our next class was ultrasound physics and instrumentation. I particularly knew this would be a large pill to swallow as I typically had a difficult time grasping physics concepts. The staff went out of their way to prerecord lectures for us to rewatch, get to class early to answer questions, and respond to messaging in a prompt manner. I was able to easily pass physics and the board exam Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) as did the rest of my graduating class. Intro to sonography, our next course, was taught by now program director Athena Haas. Mrs. Haas pushed us to be the very best we could be. She taught us difficult concepts such as Abdominal Vascular and Abdomen. I always admired her looking through textbooks with us to find answers to topics we were unsure on. Professor Kemallee, an experienced pediatric sonographer taught us Patient Care and proper ergonomics. Professor Stevens taught us Small Parts, she was such a caring and compassionate teacher. She assigned projects to enhance our learning and break up the day. Each instructor brought something different to the table and together they make a phenomenal team. Scanning labs attached to each class were very helpful in learning how to scan different structures, especially before we were able to scan patients in clinical. The second half of this program included clinical rotations at a large variety of hospitals and clinics. This hands on learning was essential to enforcing and expanding knowledge gained in the classroom. I value each location as I gained different knowledge at each site that I still use today. I was able to pass both the ARDMS OBGYN and Abdomen exams before graduation in part to all the amazing instructors. If I needed something today, I have confidence they would all be willing to lend a helping hand. Thank you CHCP for giving me the skills needed to accomplish my dream!
