I didn't leave there until after lunchtime and we all know that everyone wants to take their lunch so to think that there could be a possible recess before the rest of the people were seen was quite crazy. have to say everything was very clean not a fan of the parking. I recommend going to a different spot. There are a lot of court cases going on, so smart to walk over here. Signage is pretty decent, and this is better than a lot of courthouses.

The judge just wants to leave and so you are guilty until proven innocent and since innocence requires evidence and the judge doesn't understand evidence or logic, you are guilty - better take that terrible deal the prosecution offers. What a farce of an institution. There needs to be oversight over these people. Such evil needs to go back to the third world country it was stolen from. I watched the judge ask for time estimates. The lawyers all knew what she meant, but a regular man representing himself didn't understand what she was asking him for. In response to his question, this racist judge asked him if he needed an interpreter because he had an accent. It wasn't even that thick an accent and he did not need an interpreter. He just didn't know what the time estimate entailed. Had I not paid a lawyer I would have had trouble with such a question and I exclusively speak English. The judge didn't explain, but asked the man again, only more condescendingly. Obviously embarrassed, the man just agreed with what the prosecution had proposed - 5 minutes. All the lawyer estimates were around 5 to 10 minutes, with 10 minutes being the longest. The prosecution and judge clearly just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible, facts and justice be damned. I was appalled by what I saw in that Kangaroo court. I lost all faith in the justice system today and honestly, as a woman watching a female judge and a female prosecutor teaching a younger woman how to be corrupt and incompetent (literally laughing at having to admit a mistake to her boss before the courtroom opened) I kind of get why some people oppose the 19th amendment. That's how bad those people were; they have me questioning my own right to vote. Where is the good representation I was promised as a kid? Where are the good examples to support the 19th? Not the judge or prosecutor I can tell you. ​​

I really try to avoid negative reviews, but my experience with the court is proving profoundly…read morenegative. I'll spare you all the details, but I am a litigant before the court, and the judge in question clearly has prejudged my case and is biased. In addition, he seems to have issues respecting the notions of due process, equal protection, and the First Amendment. I've asked for a new judge, and hopefully that will happen and the court ultimately will prove to be neutral and unbiased, and keep in mind that the real reason most people, myself included, go to court isn't to pull a fast one, bully someone else, or any other negative reason. We go to court because we are counting on the court to be fair, unbiased, and a means to resolving conflicts that we cannot resolve ourselves. Unfortunately, the judge in question appears to have lost sight of that.

I came for jury duty and although I didn't get selected (bummer...lol), I really enjoyed my time here. Since it was kind of an all day event. I had a chance to walk around and tour....well wander the building. There are definitely a lot of changes and upgrades made to this building for the better. The newly renovated jury duty space and lounge is a great addition to this courthouse building. And, definitely a step up from the old, archaic wood and dated spaces and rooms of the past. Here for jury duty. Kind of an all day thing, so was able to look around a little. The 4th level, where the potential jurors wait, is an open space with a glass ceiling and a little viewing garden area. The juror lounge and waiting room is located on this floor. It is a large wide-open space that is very comfortable and filled with plenty of chairs and a few tables to wait out the time. There''s also plenty of outlets around and WiFi to stay connected while waiting your time out as a Juror or waiting to be called. This is perfect for those needing to handling work while waiting or buy the time. And, believe me you will have plenty of time to spare as part of your jury duty. So I advise that you bring something to read, your phone, iPad or even a laptop....as to these items are allowed. There's also little cafeteria downstairs on C level that has some decent coffee, desserts, and some handhelds/quiches. It has a Starbuck's vibe and more charging areas/wall outlets there for use. In all, a nice building and very accommodating for those having to take time out of their day for jury service duties. Not that I'm interested in coming back....I still give this place a Thumbs Up for the overall experience today. Yelp Elite Tip: Arrive early! The parking is a beast and hard to find. Also, no photography in the building and no phone calls in the waiting room....ignore my pictures taken...teehee ;) Security is monitor the floors and there are cameras everywhere!

Truly an amazing group of people doing an incredible dangerous and thankless job. Clearly they…read morecould never be appreciated enough for always being there when needed. My review is specifically for the firefighters and EMTs at station #206 on Seminary road who were a godsend to me on Thursday when I needed their help. I couldn't be more impressed or thankful for their care and attention. Unable to move and in severe pain, they bundled me up, with extreme care got me to the ambulance and once they'd done their preliminary work whisked me off to the hospital. At all times I knew I was in good hands and they were exceptional at communicating with me each step of the way so I knew what was going to happen. One of the EMTs was even nice enough to ask my friend if she'd remembered to let my cat out of the bedroom where he'd been locked up while they worked. No one ever intends to need help from our Fire and EMS folks. But I'm really thankful for the crew at station #206 who were there when I really needed them.

My girlfriend and I recently moved to a new apartment and the wooden slat that the previous tenant used to lock the sliding glass door that led to a third story balcony fell behind us, stranding us on our balcony. After trying to call neighbors and locksmiths with no affordable options (lock smith for a condominium with a communal locked front door + personal locked door being $295-$400, and neighbors not answering) I called the non-emergency number for Arlington county's police/fire. The responder told me that "you only call this number as your last resort" and that he was sending the fire department, who I assumed would break the lob door and apartment door by force. I tried to talk him out of it to no avail. Thankfully, they Instead took us down from the balcony with the firetruck's bucket and allowed us to try a few neighbors' codes to buzz us in and eventually got past the first door. Our apartment door was opened gracefully with minimal damage. Every one of them was understanding and courteous. "This is what we do". Thank you so much for helping us out in this potentially costly and/or dangerous ( I was considering trying to climb down from the third story balcony that offers no footing) minor emergency. I could not be more impressed with the professionalism and care these brave men provided us.
