The best thing about the new fire station is its modern touches, like having 4 WALLS! Yes, we will all miss the "open-air" feel the fire station displayed during its 3 year renovation---who can besmirch the architecturally compelling 3-wall design? But progress marches on, and Tenleytown is again a safe haven from wayward cigarette butts, leaky gas lines and malfunctioning refrigerator motors. It's good to have our station back.

From the security to the courthouse, the staff was very respectful and friendly. Yes, you need to go through security & you and take your purse with you just no phones or smart watches! They were very patient and kind and you can truly see they love what they do. They are extremely knowledgeable and we learned quite a bit. Lieutenant Morris and the crew really made the boys day. I was prepared to use this service to help transfer my title and get my vehicle registered. The…read morehelpful staff member that greeted me at the counter also worked with me to get everything sorted out. After looking into my receipts, she spotted an error- the state had already charged me to retitle my vehicle, but the lender had not done the work. She told me I needed to go back to the MVA and have them look into it. This saved me at least $200! She could have helped me re-do the work and get it finished, but she told me the best way to proceed was to go back to the state. Her honesty and helpfulness made me wish I had another vehicle, just so I could use their services.

They do this with the high standards, that they've been known for decades. They handle their fire and rescue operations professionally. Am writing this wishing my son was younger, but even he enjoyed Santa making the rounds on a fire engine during Christmas time. This past holiday I was having a rough day, and was thoroughly exhausted after moving to the area. Sirens cranked on and I saw the lights. Just like anyone I looked out to expect the worst, but literally grinned seeing Santa on top of the engine. Things like that are kind, and also help facilitate good relations with the community. Top notch folks, and am grateful for this company.
