TERRIBLE DOCTOR AND STAFF. STAY AWAY! The receptionist is unprofessional and incompetent. the doctor told me I didn't need URGENT SURGERY and to put a BANDAGE over my broken and extremely displaced bone. Broken in 3 places and poking the skin. I would have been permanently deformed (at 29 years old) if Ossia was still my pcp. On 7/5 I broke my collarbone severely. I went to the ER and was told I needed urgent orthopedic care - assigned through PCP. I called Ossia's office (who was my pcp). The receptionist could not do her job properly and assigned me a spine specialist... then a hand and foot specialist. Neither of those were orthopedic doctors. Every time I'd call the office I would be put on hold and hung up on. I was very respectful and patient with her because of the language barrier. Clearly English is not her first language. Finally, I got fed up with the incompetence of the receptionist and demanded the dr call me himself. Ossia called me. Mind you- he never examined me, he never saw my x-rays and HE TOLD ME TO WRAP A BANDAGE ON MY SHOULDER AND THAT I DID NOT NEED SURGERY. And that it could take 3 WEEKS to be assigned an orthopedic doctor. To just let it heal "naturally". After this phone call I called my insurance, filed a complaint and switched PCP immediately and got immediate care the next working day. This whole process wasted over a week; while I was severely injured and on excruciating pain. My new PCP examined me and sent me to an orthopedic doctor the following day (not 3 weeks later). Switching PCP was the best thing I could've done for my recovery. It is now 8/3 almost healed from surgery. I needed a titanium plate, rod and screws. It would NOT have healed naturally and if I had waited and listened to Dr. Ossia I would have had a bony deformity and be PERMANENTLY disabled. Dr. Ossia I hope you see this, and I hope you take better care of your patients in the future. Please don't give medical advice over the phone to a patient you haven't examined or seen the X-rays for. And don't disregard the urgency of a condition. read more

Receptionist was wildly unprofessional on a few occasions. I was told that the doctor doesn't prescribe antibiotics for a simple rash, which I've never been told before. It took me many attempts to get the slightest thing done through the front desk because every time I called I was placed on hold for over ten minutes. Rude and uncaring. Seems like there are a lot of reviews with the same bad experience with the front desk. Sad, as I didn't have a bad experience with the doctor, but will be changing my primary doctor now. read more

I was looking for a pcp for my mother and called dr. Ossia's office . Sona , the receptionist was very helpful and professional. She booked an appointment for my mom for next day. Very quick and easy. Next day when my mom went there, there wasn't any long waiting time . Doctor Ossia was saw my mom , asked about her medical history, listened to her carefully and very patiently. I have been going there for over 10 years now. It started pretty good but after the last 5 years, I have noticed that they forget my prescriptions and referrals. They don't seem to do much in the office except weigh you take your vitals and that's it. I was just on hold for 20 minutes only to have the receptionist ask me my name all over again. They are only good for getting meds nothing more. I think they have a few good Dr but it is poorly running and your paperwork gets lost or not filed. Because they didn't request me a urologist promptly I had to wait 4 months to see one and I had all kinds of medical problems and had to go to California Hospital ER room many times. I needed meds for my blood condition badly. Last week I went to my appointment and wrote down everything I needed and didn't get anything. I had to go to the ER and they gave me the Eliquest I needed. The meds were ready to be picked up the next day. If you want a good provider and you are very sick don't go there. Find a provider that cares about your health. Every appointment that was made was made by me. No follow-ups no calls to check on me and my health. I made an appointment with Dr. Galarah at 4:30 pm a while ago when I got there they said she left at 2:30 pm and I was assigned to Dr Lu. You just can't make me see another Dr. without calling me to see if I approved. Also, any paperwork I needed filled out they wanted to charge me $100. I had to fill the paperwork out myself. read more

Clearly all that this clinic cares about is money. I scheduled an appointment last Thursday for what I thought was becoming an ear infection and sinus infection but the soonest they had was Tuesday. That's fine but I ended up feeling better over the weekend so Monday I called to cancel and because I missed the "24 hour cancellation" mark by an hour, yep an hour, they want to charge a $25 fee. They'd rather lose a patient over being so incredibly greedy. As it was, when I saw the doctor for the first time he completely dismissed a pain that I'd been experiencing for over a month and said it's nothing it'll go away in a week. Well here we are two months later and it's still bugging me. His bedside manner was disturbing and inappropriate when discussing breast exams. The staff put me on long holds every time I call and then pick up finally after a 10 minute hold and have no idea who you are. Absurd. Will be changing my primary care. read more

Worst service ever. After waiting 2 hours in one of their rooms he finally visits me to check my blood results. He goes over the results in 15 seconds and after his 15 second evaluation he gets his pen and notes "A+". Arman Ossia said I have no problem to worry about. I asked him to clarify some abnormal levels found in my blood work but he simply said don't worry about it. On the results I noticed my (absolute eosinophils) level was low and asked him what I can do to improve it. He didn't explain and said, "Don't worry about it you're young!" I also asked him about the my T3 uptake (36% which is high) he said to not worry about it again and left the room telling me that I am dismissed. Discusting. With that said the assistants working there are nice. Never stepping into that office ever again. read more
