There were no issues with the fading that Mike gave me and I was very pleased that he got it right the first time. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the workstations they had need to be cleaned - dust and accumulation of what I think is shaving cream, is not appealing. If they can clean it up though, I'll gladly change my rating to 5 stars. I've tried to find a reliable barber in the area that respects appointments and I finally have!

They should have followed up with barber when they made my appointment. My regular person wasn't there. And I just really needed a cut. Oh well. I may give them another shot one of these days. Since my normal barber here does so good. Definitely make appointment.

Went in there to get some fresh lines, because my barber had been out for a bit. There were a few…read morecustomers in there; one in the chair, another waiting. I sat down; the guy cutting his customer's hair took one look at me and said, "Excuse me, we're closed." I was shocked, because this was during open hours, with the open sign lit up (I had also checked the hours, online). Just for curiosity purposes, I sat outside and watched customers go in and out, clean shaven as they left. I haven't experienced that type of treatment before. I was extremely disappointed, and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone who needs a haircut. Hey, you lost out on a great customer who tips VERY well (I was even going to give extra, cause I was in a bind with my barber being out). Ya snooze, ya lose! Your loss! Bye, bye!

I decided to try this place out after going 2 months without a haircut due to the lockdown. The…read moreplace I would normally takes walk ins and calls, but I knew it would be crazy as there would certainly be a bunch of guys like me desperate for a haircut. Right off the bat I loved that I could go online and see what appointment times were available at my convenience rather than waiting for them to open. Add to that, it was just as easy to move my appointment when I had a schedule change come up. My son and I arrived for our haircuts a few minutes early and were promptly greeted even though they were not quite ready. A short while later we both took our turns getting done what we needed. Our hair was cut just the way we wanted, shampooed and styled. She did an excellent job and we will most likely return again and again. My only criticism is very small...they went a little heavy on the product they put in my hair. Just not what I was used. Excellent Experience! Definitely Recommend.

When I asked what the difference was between the photo and my request, she mumbled a quiet response--as if trying not to let the other barbers hear her uncertainty. I even asked directly if she felt confident doing the cut, and again got a laugh and another vague, "We'll see." There was no indication on the website that certain clients--or hair types--aren't welcome. For a business that claims 60 years of experience, I was shocked at the apparent discomfort with cutting textured hair. If you can't do a basic cut and fade on curls, what happens when clients of color come in? Can you only cut straight hair on white men? I left disappointed and disheartened. What should've been a fun and empowering experience felt exclusionary and dismissive.
