Great meal - awesome guacamole and fajitas and service was excellent! Nice surprise!

There are not very many restaurants in Moultrie let alone any that have good ratings, except this one. I'm A bit bewildered how this restaurant has five stars via yelp. This restaurant is housed in a shabby building in the downtown area. They have a typical Mexican menu and I went with a mix of chicken and steak fajitas. Didn't care for the flavor or texture of their corn tortillas and the meat was also quite marginal. The rice beans and other toppings were all pretty standard. I had some fresh guacamole and it was indeed fresh although a little bright with a tad much citrus. They have no draft beer, but carry the standard Mexican and domestics well available in bottles. Blahhh....tasteless Mexican like a chain restaurant. I wouldn't come here when there are such great places in town.

I gotta say, I was skeptical with the outside appearance of the business. Almost didn't go in. Decided to go in and eat. The inside was fine, I thing to write home about but about what I expected. Now, the important part of any restaurant, the food. The server was kind and had a great smile. She open welcomed us and sat us at our table. Of course, we were served Chips and Salsa. The salsa was fantastic with a bit of spice to it. The chips were warm and fresh with the perfect amount of salt to them. We added Guacamole to them and it Came chunky with real nice flavor. I ordered the Fajita Burrito with chicken. My buddy had the same but with steak. Both portions were large and full of flavor. I was so happy with the quality of the food that we actually texted his brother about coming here. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Moultrie, which is quite often. read more

I got the 2 grilled chicken soft tacos with sour cream, chicken, lettuce, tomato, and cheese and it was a game changer. Little bit spicy but really good. It took about 10 minutes for it to come. But the decor has not really great. 10/10 meal for me. I would order this again. read more

A large serving of Veggie Chicken included red and white onions, broccoli florets, mushrooms, zucchini, squash, sun-dried tomatoes and chicken from the grill served over a bed of Spanish rice and was topped with queso and fresh baby spinach. A decent selection of bottled beers are served ice cold. Guacamole was excellent, loaded with small chunks of tomatoes and avacados, and seasoned just right. Sopapilla was traditional and quite good even without ice cream. They were out of corn husk-wrapped tamales but we will return for those! Enjoyed the music selection which seemed to be Latino soft rock instead of that frito bandito mariachi band stuff that everyone else plays. The restrooms are sparkling clean. We've not been to other Mexican food restaurants in the area but are pleased to report that this one was quite good and the service is on point. This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in this town and several surrounding towns. The food is always fresh the service is always excellent and we've never had a bad experience. I've eaten here a half-dozen times now and always leave impressed. The tacos, tortas, and fajitas are the best in town, and they offer some really unique Mexican dishes, as well as the old standards. My favorite has been the torta with steak, ham, and chorizo, but my wife tried a plate called Veggie Chicken tonight on our waitress's recommendation. It is hands down the best Mexican dish I've had in Moultrie. I'm not sure I'll even need to look at a menu the next time we go. I hope Moultrie will support this clean, comfortable, and delicious Mexican restaurant. read more

I Ventured here due to the ratings. The place was clean and the server very attentive and nice. The chips were excellent - crisp and warm. The salsa had just enough heat. The enchiladas (steak) were very good as well. It did concern me as I was the only lunch customer. read more

Best Mexican food in town. Like everyone else, I am wowed by their fresh made guacamole! So much yum! Their fish tacos to die for! Don't forget the cilantro! Truthfully, I've not found anything bad yet. Service is great and staff is friendly. read more

Pleasantly surprised! We've been to other Mexican restaurants in town and this one is our new favorite. They have the BEST guacamole. It was made fresh to order and their salsa wasn't too spicy. My husband ordered #39 and he loved his meal. The taco was amazing which I haven't ever said about other Mexican restaurants. They have Taco Tuesday which tacos are only $1 a piece. We WILL be back! This place is great however l bet no one in this 12 or older will ever be satisfied with only one Taco ... I got to have 3 at least . But truly I can eat 5 . They got some of the greatest food in the town. I think this is worth every dollar you spend there. Plus they are clean and practice great health standard. read more

Because the menu prices seem to fluctuate so much, I specifically asked how much my order would cost. When I paid (without seeing the charges because he doesn't allow that) it was double. My lunch companions' orders were at least $10 overcharged as well. No refills. Definitely all of our last visit. read more

I have been here twice and don't understand why they don't have hoards of people waiting to get in! The food at all the other Mexican restaurants I have tried in the region is not even in the same league. I ordered grilled shrimp and vegetables, and my son ordered a beef burrito with refried beans.
