First impressions are everything. Then the owner immediately responded to my Google review very defensive and began making claims without any verification. It seems that they preffer a specific clientele. So if you don't have a very expensive namebrand E bike don't even bother going. My bike had fallen over and I bent my derailer. I thought I could stop in a local shop and see if they could help me either straighten it or offer any type of replacement part. People know when they are not wanted. And I did not feel at all welcomed at any point during the interaction. There are better bike shops in town. Instead of offering to do anything to make it right. They would rather stand behind their claims of insurance issues or a component, I wasn't even requesting service for. Nobody is entitled to a good review. They assembled it perfectly, but while I was riding home, I ran over a piece of glass. I brought it back in and got some tire inserts to protect against sharp objects. After leaving, I noticed my front brakes were clicking loudly when I tried to use them. I brought it back in again, and they replaced my brake pads and rotor for free. They explained things very well and were very knowledgeable.

Waited for someone to help move it, then when I walked in I was completely ignored so I waited until the worker yelled "why are you opening my door" at me. I was shocked and said "sorry, I wasn't sure if you would want me to bring my bike in to look at it when it's my turn." He then said "look around does it look like I can have another bike in here? What's wrong with your bike anyway?" I told him I was sorry (why? I don't know, I hadn't done anything wrong) and that the breaks were no longer working. He said, still in an awful tone, "well I can't get to it for weeks so good luck." I turned around and left trying not to cry. Do not go here--try the Great Bicycle Shop instead--they were excellent and so kind.

Well, 'lo, I had my bike "tuned up" (i.e., $85.00 for looking it over and squirting oil here and there) at another shop, but my left gear shift was still troublesome from 1 to 2 to 1. So I was walking around Lake Ella and I spied a pretty sweet Land Cruiser parked out back and so, naturally, that was going to cause me to "pull over" and check it out. The owner (Ed) was nearby and we talked about it for about 20 minutes. As an aside, it was a Lexus - which means it had MORE than a Land Cruiser, but without the cachet of the LC badge. Anyway - simply based on that exchange, I brought my bike in and two days later, I was ready to pay Joe and he said it was free. That just didn't make any sense - but, sure enough, I shifted through and it was as expected. I insisted on a healthy tip - it was worth it - and now I know where to take our bikes moving forward.
