They are locally owned and the windows are manufactured locally, helping our local businesses and not paying the over-priced national marketing prices the other companies were offering. We worked directly with Brad and felt comfortable with him as he was not trying to upsell us on every decision. He also came up with a great idea to remove the architectural arches above the bay windows and frame in a standard window for cost savings. Brad was honest, frank and enjoyable to work with. He said he would talk to his rep from the cabinet company and let us know our options. We waited several months and tried to contact Mark to follow-up. He never called us back. He finally answered when my husband called and said he had not talked to the cabinet company yet. At this point we had waited five months. Why come to our house to see the problem, get our hopes up and leave us waiting? I would prefer a direct response if he was too busy or did not want to do the job so we could move on. I finally sent an email directly to the cabinet company. They honored their warranty and sent us new cabinet fronts. It was pretty simple!! I called Mark again to let him know I had success with the cabinet company and to see if he would like to do the install. Still no call back... It's very confusing since Alpha Cabinetry did ALL the cabinets in our 6,600 square foot home. Are they worried about the integrity of the product they supplied or just terrible at communication and time management? If I ran my business like this, I'd be out of business!!

I'd identified the type of quartz I wanted fairly early in the process, but procuring it was a little more complicated. Enter Rueben and Stone Tops 4 Less. I walked into his location on a Saturday, found exactly what I was looking for and got a quote--all within less than 30 minutes. The price we paid was quite reasonable, a little over $3100 for material and installation for 33 square feet. Three weeks after visiting Stone Tops 4 Less, we have gorgeous new counters. The price, selection, process and quality of installation were all great. I couldn't ask for a better experience, and I will definitely be calling Rueben for any future countertop needs.

Unfortunately, the workmanship was sloppy and lacked attention to detail: * Countertops were never polished or buffed and had debris and grit left on them * Walls were damaged during installation * White silicone was applied on beige walls * Grout lines were uneven, thick in corners due to poorly cut quartzite despite laser measurements and laser cutting * Caulking along countertops was smeared and inconsistent * Backsplash was improperly measured, leaving visible gaps in corners * Large clear adhesive circles were used to secure the backsplash, which have already begun pulling away * The crew left a mess and did not clean up after themselves Repeated mistakes, poor craftsmanship and unprofessional project management made this a frustrating experience from start to finish. I would not recommend Granite World for your countertop or backsplash projects and would have preferred to give 0 starts if allowed.
