Dr. Debbie Smrz actually was able to ELIMINATE my foot pain completely! Here's my story: About 14 months ago, I went to the Urgent Care Clinic barely able to walk. I was diagnosed with a severe case of plantar fasciitis. It was so painful, I could barely walk. I sought treatment at a podiatrist who promptly prescribed orthotics and stretching. Nothing helped. After 6 months, the podiatrist decided to try cortisone shots in my foot. If I rate my pain prior to the injections, I would give it a 10 on a scale of 10. After the second round of injections, my pain went from a 10/10 to about an 8/10. Better...but still AWFUL. I was no longer going to the gym, and I was spending a lot of time sitting. I started gaining weight. I was told to exercise to lose the weight, but I couldn't put weight on my foot. I tried the stationary bike; the recumbent bike - but still a lot of pain.
