Install smoke detectors (Nest) Matt's team was great! Everything was installed perfectly and the team spent time to make sure everything was working as we liked. We did encounter some issues, however, Matt had his team work with us to correct them as we encountered them (i.e. faulty pre-wire causing false-positives on the alarm). I have to give a special shout out to Keith. He installed every single TV in the house to perfection. I was really looking forward to a beautiful flush mount install of our TVs in every room (especially the living, game, and media rooms) and he delivered. I wanted some hard wired security cameras since WiFi seems to always be spotty these days. They not only gave me great quality cameras that I can view from my TV, I can also view them remotely from my phone. This company also installed a really cool alarm panel that displays my photos when not in use, a keyless entry lock on my front door, and I can remotely open and close my garage door.. I'm gonna ask them back soon for the carbon monoxide detector since we have a fire place, hopefully a sensor on my driveway to tell me when someone passes it, and connect my monitoring system to my irrigation system and my outdoor lights to make them remote as well. So impressed by what this company and its owner can do and how professional they are on the phone and on the job!!

I like the fact that they are a relatively small local company, because that means that customers get excellent personal attention to their individual situations. I also like the fact that, unlike many of the large national security companies, you are not presented with and required to sign one of those long contacts with often deceptive small print. The people at Technick are straight-shooters. I trust them with the security of my home, and I cannot recommend them too highly.

Do NOT hire Gold Gate Automation!!! I hired this company 2 1/2 years ago and he still isn't…read morefinished with my job. I have called and texted and he never replies. I paid him for the job he did in advanced which was stupid on my part. But he seemed like a nice guy and he is but not dependable. Like the review from Kelly and a few others it takes him years to finish the job and it's not correct. I had 2 different companies come look at gate and they told me he installed a very old opener and probably one he removed from somewhere else and refurbished and installed in mine. He also installed a sensor that doest work and has paint on it. Lastly the driveway opener wasn't installed 100' away but 10' and is probably what caused my problem. It went into emergency mode because we park our cars to close to it and it fried the electrical and Jeff tore my driveway up doing it. He also hired an young man named of Roy Bryan that installed a new fence, but used mine 5' fencing material and piece mealed it . So my 6' fence is in 2 pieces. Both did a terrible job and both blame each other. They are both at fault. My 5' fence was for my ranch and was not for them to use. I will be taking them to court. Lots of proof now. I paid these people over $20k for used parts, unfinished work and lies. Jeff also never finished staining my entire fence. I'm dome with these people. Don't be fooled with how nice is he is. I have put off writing a review because I felt the kindest thing I could do was not write one at…read moreall, because Jeff is a very nice man. However, I am now paying another company a lot of money to fix all of the mistakes. Jeff is incredibly hard to get a hold of and often would give dates and timelines that never happened. We were told that the job would take a few weeks and it ultimately took 8 months. When it was finally completed, the gate stopped working almost immediately and I had to contact another gate company to come and rewire and install correct batteries and solar panels. Worst of all, the intercom still does not work correctly and will probably need to be replaced. Found out today that a portion of the wiring is actually a piece of an old extension cord! I would not recommend!!!
