We engaged Armor in the design phase and continue utilizing Armor in post construction system management. The products & services provided included AV, Security, Lighting and Home Control system management. The best decision we ever made was getting Armor on the design team very early in the process....they became our technology advisor/expert from Day 1. The home technology is "user friendly" for a homeowner (me) that isn't the most technologically savvy guy in the world. Design and user experience is second to none. Post construction the Armor Team is a phone call away to make the technology onboarding learnings comfortable. Armor did an amazing job designing and installing the AV and security system in my new home in Lakewood Ranch. When I initially sat down with Barry (the owner) we discussed my dream list of things I wanted for my new home: structured wiring, high-end alarm system with security cameras, whole-home audio, motorized voice-controlled window shades, OLED Sony TVs, Control 4 automation, motorized door locks and my dream--a media room with a hidden in-ceiling movie screen. After this meeting I anxiously awaited the quote, worried I would not be able to afford such an elaborate system. But when the quote arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The pricing was much more reasonable than I thought, and I was able to get everything I wanted. Once it came time for installation, I was blown away by their quality of workmanship. Structured wiring is the foundation for home electronics and the Armor team did a masterful job in running the wiring throughout the home. Not only did every single ethernet cable work perfectly the first time, wiring was laid in a very meticulous, clean and organized fashion. The team did an equally masterful job of installing speakers, TV's, ring doorbells, cameras, projectors, media cabinets, and of course the in ceiling motorized movie screen in the media room. I am a detailed-oriented person and am difficult to impress and I give an A+ to all aspects of their installation. I moved into my home a couple of months ago and am really enjoying my modern automated home, and my media room is incredible. We have been customers of Armor systems since 2000 when we built our home in Osprey. When we built our home the BEST sub we hired was Armor. They were the only sub that wore shoe covers to prevent getting dirt in our new home. They installed our alarm system as well as stereo throughout the house. Nine years later we built our second home and of course used Armor once again. The installers that worked on our home in 2009 were the same ones that did our home 9 years earlier.
