Frogholler is a lavender farm, with a small nursery. They have a couple of weeks in the late spring when you can go and pick lavender stems for $0.10 each. There are tables where you can make lavender wands or wreaths. There were rows and rows of lavender to pick from. The scent of the garden was heavenly. There were few people there, so staying away from others was not an issue. We had a lovely time picking our flowers. They provide baskets and sanitized scissors which are returned immediately to a bin of disinfectant when you're done. The people were fun, helpful and friendly. Check-out is in a small, but adorable gift shop. During this period, they limit to four people at a time in the shop and you must wear a mask. The shop has all things lavender, i.e. soap, oils, sachets, etc., plus items like handmade birdhouses. While we waited our turn, they served us a cup of delicious lavender lemonade. It was perfectly balanced - lemony with a light floral undertone. If you're looking for something different and fun to do, this is a good choice. They apparently have some other festivals over the season, so I'll be checking them out, too.

Great not to have to spend a fortune as you can at the movies. They also give you a coupon when you buy your ticket for a popcorn and drink combo at discount price. Everything is done by self check out for tickets, with a person there to tell you where your theater is. They have a lot of concessions here too. Bathrooms clean, and the theater was pretty empty for my show. They have all the newest movies here and imax available. Lots of parking, and easy to navigate. This was a nice break in my rainy day, I'll be sure to see what's on their Final Cut showings in future.

The theater itself was clean and you have assigned seats so no rush. Seats are reclinable and very comfortable. Lightning in the back row was dim and my wife almost ended up landing on her ass trying to find her seat in the dark. Movie quality and sound were great! Definitely will be back but probably eat ahead of time or sneak in some snacks......yes that's a Latino move but it's ok because I'm Latino! Go catch a movie, you won't be disappointed!

Marriage, modern day behaviors and protruding manholes were just a boisterous bit of memorable subjects discussed, leaving the crowd both stunned and stuck in their seats, doubling over with laughter. Myself (and my friends that I brought along) arrived just 15 minutes before the sold-out show only to enter a jam-packed theater house full of comedy-lovers. Seated directly in the front row (because there were absolutely no other available seats), I confess to feeling a tad bit anxiety over the possibility of becoming one of the comedians' targets to tease... but as the show commenced, I/we was/were left more than thrilled to have the best seats in the entire house! Would I go again when these "idiots" return to the soapbox & silverscreen in Salem? Uhhh, duhhhhh! Should others be sure to check out whenever they do make their way back to perform? It actually looked a little dated and dirty. Okay sound and a fair screen, my tv at home has a better picture in my opinion. It used to be an inexpensive way to go out, going to the movies. No more. We arrived about 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. The parking area had a dozen or so cars. We proceeded to the covered barn and were immediately greeted by the family. The young man was friendly and efficient, we also learned that veterans receive free admission which was a welcome surprise, very nice touch! We also learned they have swag including shirts, baseball hats, stickers and decals. They were selling Colts signature honey and Carolina Gold oils made from sunflowers. They were down to their last bottle of garlic oil so they set it aside for us. We grabbed a bucket which was already equipped with cutters for us to cut our own sunflowers. The back field was where we were headed and the casual stroll back was enjoyable. There are beautiful flowering bushes and flower fields along the way and I was able to capture several cool pics with butterflies as well. The sunflower field was beautiful and we immediately began taking pictures. We commented that we should have brought the drone to capture the farm. We ended up cutting eight sunflowers to take home and arrange. Once up at the covered barn area they wrapped the sunflowers up and we selected our various swag items. Very cool local family business. We asked and they told us this is their sixth year. Support local and enjoy the beauty of Dogwood Farms.

There is a large dirt parking lot that holds plenty of cars. The one issue I have with this market is that the it is outdoor and the produce ripens quickly in the heat. Sometimes you have to hunt and pick through the selection to get fruit and vegetables that are not on the cusp of being overripe. I am only one person, so I cannot possible eat a whole melon in one day and need it to last a while. The owner is nice and all the employees are helpful. I do find the produce a bit expensive, but I really like the vibe of this local market and like to support them.
