There were pros and cons of my experience here. The initial expierence was positive and the price was reasonable. But when I picked up the ring it was not what we had discussed or what I wanted. And instead of trying to remedy the situation, I was just argued with. Very unprofessional to basically call a client a liar. I discovered Armstrong Jewelers listing in Pueblo, CO on Etsy. They had listed some chunky diamond earrings that I purchased. They were never shipped so I had to open a claim with Etsy about my order. In fact, the business had been removed entirely. No "contacting seller" to try to figure out what happened, when or if it would be shipped, or anything. They were just gone. When you go to their website, they look legitimate enough... can't find many reviews. So I'm adding one. Be VERY careful working with this business. read more

NO stars. My wedding ring was studded with diamonds from my grandmothers ring. I decidedi to remove them to pass to my daughter's fiancé for their engagement. The woman at Armstrong was decidedly unfriendly, said $45. to remove, $25 to mail, but said it's cheaper to mail thru P.O. A week later I picked them up. A different, also decidedly, unfriendly woman, hands me a tiny ziplock back with the 5 chips. I asked for a box plz. She said, "NO. You didn't buy the ring here so you can not have a box. What? are you kidding?I JUST GAVE YOU $45. No. No box. But I want to mail them. Shipping is $25, she barked. "But I want to mail at the P.O. since it's cheaper, so how much are they worth? This place is not to be trusted. I had my wife go here to have necklace fixed. When she got this back it was clearly not same necklace she had dropped to be fixed. They gave her back longer necklace that was not the same cheaper quality and was kinked up and cheap. They were rude and not willing to see receipt of original peace that of what we had dropped off or pictures showing the difference. This place does not even deserve a 1 star. Be very Wary if you drop your stuff off here you may not get back what you have dropped off. They are rude and not willing to make things right. We were referred by a friend to get my rings resized by these people,when we entered the store it was obviously busy but we waited and it was our turn in line the conversation started out with a question from us is it OK if we take a picture of the rings for our own inventory? The lady that was helping us was so rude she advised us to go somewhere else if we didn't trust them then she walked away with my rings and came back gave me my rings and told us to go somewhere else. Took my white gold chain in to get the clamp fixed. Took about a week and when I returned they gave me the wrong chain. I told them it was the wrong chain they said their jeweler does not make mistakes. I came back and had proof that it was the wrong chain they still chose not to hear me they were very rude and insisted this was my chain. The chain I brought in was white gold The one they gave me back was a cheap silver that kinks up and is about 2 inches longer than the one I gave them I took pictures for a reference my husband even had proof of Where and how much he got the necklace for. They continued not to hear us and were very abrupt I took pictures in the same shirt as for reference. Do not take your jewelry here it is most likely that they will steal it or swap it out with some thing of a lesser value I am very thankful that I did not leave my charm on the necklace this place cannot be trusted read more

Don't do a layaway unless you can afford to follow thru. It's gone - no return. I put 10% down on a ring over the weekend and on the following Monday I had to have major dental work done. With no insurance I was out $1000. I tried explaining this to them and they basically told me "so what", you need to read the fine print, we are keeping your !0% as restocking fee. They just threw away a customer for $65. 10 mintues before that I paid the $370.00 for a repair. . Nice, and at Christmas too. read more

Pricing is deceptive. The shelf price for diamond earrings was $1,000 and the salesperson said 50% off that price. When we paid for the earrings; the shelf price was $2,000 so the sale price was now $1,000 instead of $500. I'll return the earrings just because I don't want to support this kind of business ethics.
