A quick grub stop coming out of the airport.
I wasn't that hungry since I just got off a flight (that served a meal not too long before it landed at Clark) but my crew could use some sustenance. I figure I'd just get a taste of what they were getting (which they didn't mind, of course.)
One of them got a naked P.I. Burrito (sisig baboy) which i got a couple of bites of. I regret not getting my own because those two bites i took were bursting with so much flavor! There was a good balance in its salt and savory seasonings. Adding a few drops of lime juice as well as the crisp of the raw onions elevated the flavor. The lettuce helped cleanse the palate and the chips just added texture. Whoa, restraint was a challenge!
The other ordered something more simple - the fearless which consists of two pieces of fried chicken, rice and gravy. Didn't really feel like having that, so I let that one be.
I washed down the little bites I had with the classic Libertea which was refreshing.
Good first run. I'll need to keep that naked burrito in mind the next time I come through any Army Navy spots! read more
