The all brick buildings with green roofs is what gives me that impression. Most bases have random looking buildings scattered throughout the base. They appear to have ample parking which considering this is a carrier base is unusual. The base admin buildings are easy to find and they have a decent amount of direction signs to help you find sites. What is lacking is with the Exchange. It was on the puny side and had minimal items for sale. I was surprised for the amount of people that can be at the base they the NEX would be so small. The food court is sad and despite being here on numerous occasions I always eat out in town.

We followed it back to the station, where we were given a grand tour. The fireman (andy) showed us all the engines...how the trucks operate, where they chill waiting for the next call. For a 2 year old..this is big time stuff. My son was in awe, of sitting in the main truck, and putting on a helmet. Most stations welcome the little ones, and have them get knowledge on how they operate, and what to do in a fire. If nothing else, give them our thanks for the job that they do.

First, I was given wrong information from (name I forgot, sorry!) regarding release of information. She told me to look it up online. Okay, lazybones, I know it is not available online and I have to contact the courthouse. Sorry to interrupt your game of computer solitaire! Again she tried to deny me (I'm honestly beginning to wonder if she got paid off, I find her behavior so odd...why this delay? Is she seriously that lazy) So I called the courthouse on my cell phone when I was standing right in front of her, and the lady behind her answered. This is the only way to get things done; you have to both *be there* and call them at the same time. The same information I was able to get from the Everett Division in about 60 seconds, and I would imagine that is a much busier court. and that is the sad thing. at least their employees are competent. However, most of the cases were filed in this court, so I have to deal with them regarding release of information. It would've been helpful to learn that the person I was filing against was a convicted criminal, but they denied me that information. Thanks, but no thanks S Division. Driver 1121 This…read moremorning my fiance saw on Facebook that there was a beaver stuck in one of the sewer systems drain address of 99th and 6th place se in lake Stevens. We showed up to try and help and no one was there so we started checking out the drains in that area. During our search a city truck with sewer department on the side stopped and asked what we were doing. (Totally ok to do so). We explained what we were doing but then the driver started getting aggressive and we told him to just leave cause he was refusing to help us and only wanted to make stupid comments like "just let it die beavers don't matter. He then drove down the street because I told him to just leave because he was not helping but he then said to me F off and drove away. I then flipped him off and then 5 times after that just kept going back and forth down the street and each time when he passed he would talk shit then drive away. That's harrasment and pretty sad coming from a city employee who is paid by tax payer money to entice a fight over a beaver stuck in a drain. I care more about animals than people and will always do anything I can to help them. He also got pissy that I took the drain cover off. Then shortly after animal control drove by and I tried to stop them but they just kept going and didn't care even though the person who made post on FB said no one from the city could help. Next time we will handle ourselves and if any city person comes out I will tell them to leave and to go sit on their butt somewhere eating hostess doughnuts and chocolate milk. I don't appreciate the lack of respect from a city employee and expect better. The person who drives 1121 needs to be fired cause harrasment of civilians is also illegal. Have already escalated this to the is department and to the police department for not at all helping and being aggressive and don't care at all about animals. Saying the beaver should just die shows your a cold hearted person who hates animals and likely abuse them to.
