My motorcycle was taken in for 5000 mile service along with a few trouble shooting items in relation to the brake lights . Also a carburetor kit was done. When Motorcycle was picked up the price was much higher than quoted. Bike was taken out for a ride and a grinding noise occurred so bike was hauled back to Arnies. About a week later got a call and bike was done . When we got there we were told the primary sprocket had come loose and we were charged for tighting it up . This had never been a problem in the past. Also after it was riden for just a short time the rear running lights went out. I took it apart myself and the harness was all burned out. So I ordered a new harness. This shop is a joke. If you want more problems with your bike than you started out with this is the place to take your bike. Horrible service and it takes forever. Had a couple small things done to my dirt bike and they didn't even charge me. So I tipped them each time. When my bike needed serious serious maintenance, my first instinct was to bring it to them. Dropped my bike off on a wednesday, dude said he will get to it in two fucking days, the following wednesday came, no call. So I called them and all he said was no they haven't gotten to it. Another week went bye still no call, called again he told me there were three big projects ahead of me... Don't ask when I need it back bye and tell me you will have the problem figured out in two days then don't fucking call for two weeks. So I picked it up the next day and it was sitting in the rain with a quad a couple other dirt bikes and not so good looking Harleys... Took my bike to motorcycle shop in Temecula for a service, a tune up. Nothing was wrong with the bike, it ran great, I just hadn't done one since I bought it four years ago. Well after this "tune up" my bike never ran right, it actually got worse. Took it back to the shop since they worked on it and he recommended to literally tear the motor down to figure out what was wrong with it. He was quoting almost $1500 for the work! I already didn't trust the shop so I picked up my bike and after talking to the guys at Arney's I knew this was the place to go. They had to do some back tracking since some things had been left disconnected. They were able to diagnose and repair all the issues for almost half what the other shop was quoting me. They kept all the old parts to show me, including hoses that had been pinched at the other shop when reassembling the tank. Walked me through all the issues and the repairs. Took a little longer than I wanted but it was well worth it. The bike runs great! I own a 2018 Ninja ZX - 14R ABS SE. For whatever reason Kawasaki did not factory install a quick shifter. I bought a Healtech Quickshifter Easy. Called in about 5 minutes ago. All I can say is horrible customer service from whoever answered the phone. Must have been somebody in management or the owner? Really pompus dont need your business attitude to pair with his smug attitude. Inherited Goldwing from my grandfather "Bill" was recommended to me highly from a friend so I just wanted to see if he was willing to take on my Goldwing issue. Guy on the phone was arrogant dismissive and too busy for my business.So I said thanks but no thanks... call another local shop immediately after what a difference polite asked me what was going on and how to take care of the issue will be going to see them as soon as they're specialist is available. At least these guys will try to help you out! If the work is anywhere near the lack of customer service I received. Had to take my bike in, couldn't get it to run after buying it from a tow yard. Bike needed a lot of work. Carb rebuilt, fluids changed, cables replaced, brakes adjusted, petcock replaced, chain replaced and more. The techs did a great job and the bill was a lot less than I expected for all the hours and parts put into my bike. They even noticed a couple other things I wasn't aware of like an oil leak and the clutch slipping. I'll definitely be back when I need more repairs. I picked up the 2nd bike that Arney's did work on. My first bike is a 01 Honda Shadow Spirit VT1100, They did a safety check and resealed my forks. The bike is now running as it should. The second Bike an 03 Suzuki SV650 was in for a safety check as well. They suggested an upgrade on the brake lines, which we will do later. All in all a great shop. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and we had a great experience. Introduced to Arney's when my regular shop was low on manpower and they recommended him. That was high praise. Arney and Bill got me in and out a couple of times doing small but necessary repairs. Then I burned a hole in the piston of my Electra glide in Georgia, after losing the oil cooler on a hot cross country trip, two up and heavy. Arney's rebuilt the top with S&S parts at a reasonable price. He went above and beyond. Paying attention to, and replacing or repairing other parts that needed attention to make it reliable, as I travel a lot with that bike. He always took the time to explain the work and show old parts. I read, with interest, some of the reviews of the snowflakes that write reviews with F bombs. He won't say it, but I will. Consider the narcissistic source. I'm sure.. they have the skills to do better. I'm glad He took the extra time to do the unexpected, unseen things that popped up during the repair. Based off of the previous reviews, I thought I'd try AMG. Enthusiastically, I called to ask for price on a few things - regardless of price, I was convinced they were the ones where I was going to spend my hard- earned money. When I called, I asked the person who answered the phone, what is the amount for tires and oil change. He said he was busy with two customers, but would call me as soon as he was done with them. So I gave him my number. Well, I never received a call back. I don't like to feel like I'm a burden to a place where I am going to spend a good amount of money. Wow! This guy KNOWS his stuff! Very professional when dealing with his customers. He explained everything he was doing and gave me an accurate labor time he would be charging me. I brought Arney my 2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50T Classic to repair some poor custom work that the Back Alley Custom shop screwed up! My passing light was not working (poor wiring connection) and my LED angel eye headlight was STILL shooting the light beam up into the air instead of the road ahead of me so I decided to take it to Arneys to have it all corrected. When Arney opened up my headlight, he called me over to show me what he found. It looked like a rats nest and the wiring was held together by twisting them and a partial dab of solder, then wrapped with electrical tape! Arney was going to have his hands full but he did it! He redid the shoddy wiring job that the "Back Alley Custom shop" did! He himself was shocked that see the other shops workmanship! It was the kind of work you find being done by an inexperienced mechanic in his home garage! I only ended up paying half of what it cost me originally, so I have to thank Arney which also shows their expertise and experience! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Arneys to anyone needing CUSTOM work done on their motorcycle. Arney does not discriminate against what kind of motorcycle you ride either. UPDATE: My response to the owners reply to my review: "Being a motorcycle mechanic shop that says you are an authorized Harley shop as well, you should know that when there is an electrical issue, codes are dropped by the ECU that may not be the source of the problem. There were multiple electrical symptoms occurring but that is because the main wire harness underneath the rear fender had worn from contacting the rear tire over a period of time. The tail lights were not working or turn signals in the rear. One of the first steps shouldve been to check that harness for damage. You guys never checked it, if you had, you would've noticed the obvious 3 inches of bare wires and frayed rubber that caused not only the rear lights to work but also be the source of multiple codes being tripped by the ECU. From the beginning I stated there were multiple electrical symptoms. Your excuse to say it was hard to figure out what was wrong from my call shouldn't have made a difference. Your job is to trouble shoot and there are only so many places on a motorcycle where major electrical components are located. I authorized a replacement battery but NOT the regulator. Your mechanic replaced the regulator in an effort to "fix by process of elimination". I only knew the regulator was replaced AFTER you installed it and told me on the phone. And that part was NOT needed. Harley identified the problem within an hour and showed me the worn harness. Instead of making excuses and blaming the customer, own up to your mistake and learn from it. My review and one star rating still stands." read more

A few weeks back I came to Arney's for a routine oil change. Next day I come to find that my bike is leaking from the oil filter. Mind you my bike didn't leak prior to this. Check it out and turns out filter wasn't even snugged on. I was able to turn it almost a whole turn more. Thought that would solve the problem but next day I come to find it was still leaking. Still from the filter. Since they have walk ins on Saturday I decided to go and have them take a look. The receptionist mentions another customer also had a leaky filter and that k&n may be having quality control issues at the moment. Regardless of that fact they replaced my filter with the same part hoping it would remedy the leak. Low and behold I check my bike again the next day and it's still leaking. I check my oil level (bike is equipped with a dipstick) oil is down to half. Filler cap was on so tight I couldn't break it with two hands, had to use a wrench wrapped in my riding gloves to loosen. Yesterday, Since I was planning to go to cycle gear to grab some equipment i also made a stop to Arney's and asked to be reimbursed for a quart of oil and filter so I could deal with it my self. First thing out of James' (the owner) mouth is "There's no fucking way he needs a quart of oil." I intervene and let him know that i don't need exactly a quart of oil but I do need a quart to top off my bike since it had been leaking. He continues to ask how much oil I have in my bike and I tell him it is down to half. Tells me it shouldn't even be filled to the top which I know is Bologna since the dipstick indicates the full and low levels. Which from the original date of oil change they had initially filled it past the full line. He then proceeds to ask me how far the bike is and tells me to just bring my bike down, disregarding the low oil. I also mention the over tightened filler cap which he his response is. "Welcome to our world most of the bikes we work on you can't take off the caps without pliers" that's funny since all these caps are designed to be loosened by hand. I let him know that I've never had an issue with that on my bike which he arrogantly responded to by saying "OK we only go through 40 bikes a day". That's great! Jiffy lube also went through plenty of services in a day, that didn't stop them from screwing up someone's vehicle occasionally. He proceeded to laugh at me stating "fine we'll let you tighten the cap yourself".. Although he asked me to bring my bike back to fix the leak I really rather not. You think after shelling out 116.75 on an oil change only to have to come back twice due to a leak they would be more apologetic about their service. You think they'd have the decency to dish out a little respect to their customers. Funny is that they advertise themselves as a friendly and honest garage. Never have I dealt with a more arrogant and unapologetic business owner than James. Id rather take my chances with my now leaky bike then have to deal with this garage again. If this guy could be this disrespectful to me in my face I can't imagine the shady shit he'd pull on me while my bike isn't in plain view. That being said. If you want slow, unfriendly, disrespectful, and faulty work done to your bike come to this garage. You won't be disappointed. read more

Outstanding service, attention to detail, concern for the customer, and reasonable prices. I have a vintage '72 Honda CB750. I developed a leak that sprayed oil on the rear tire. First of all, it is difficult to find a place that is willing and experienced to work on vintage bikes. I took the bike to them. They could not get the leak to repeat. However, they were concerned about potential safety issues if they could not find it and the problem happened again. They kept the bike for several weeks and rode it each day until the leak finally appeared again. They ordered a few inexpensive parts and fixed the bike for about $100. That is amazing considering the time that they invested looking for the leak. I will definitely continue to be a customer of theirs. I encourage anyone with a new or old bike to check out this shop. They do not discriminate against any type or age of bike. read more
