First appointment available was July 29th, almost a month waiting period. I was also told to figure five hours for the replacement. I had no problem with either because I was told. I live alone and didn't want to sit for that amount of time, so I towed my car trailer and spare car up there. After unloading car and unhooking trailer I left the truck as requested. An hour later I get an apologetic phone call saying they had ordered the wrong windshield. No problem, those things happen. Rescheduled 2nd appointment for Friday August 2nd, just 4 days later. Showed up the same way with car, trailer and spare car. After unloading car and unhooking the trailer, I notice he had a sign on the door window "out sick.". I figure if he had time to put a sign in the window that he had time to call those people that had appointments. No such courtesy. He was in fact sick with pneumonia. Shop closed for 7 days. I called on the 14th of August and was told that was his first day back, and to give him a little time to figure out his schedule and he would call me back. A week later and still no call. One last shot. I called again and we rescheduled again for September 10th. Now I figure since I had a 9:00 appointment for the first day he was sick that I should be one of the first people that he takes care of on his return. Wrong again! This is my last go around. Now the only reason I had not gone elsewhere is I didn't want him to get "stuck" with the windshield he had ordered for me. So, I agreed with the September 10th installation. showed up 9:00 Tuesday September 10th only to be greeted with another sign in the window "Closed Tuesday.". Again, not even the courtesy of a phone call. The worst! I drove to Safelite in Kalispell and got an appointment two days later. Price was less than Auto Glass of Whitefish. And to top it off, they finished the car in one hour.
