You walk into this place and you immediately feel welcomed. She got me the first open appointment she had. She was with me every step of the process and made me super comfortable. Secondly, Dr. Carpenter was the BEST. He has awesome bedside manners and used the best technique and pressure to help me with my back/shoulder issues. I met the first doctor who introduced the effects of acupuncture to NIH. Dr. Hwang was a member of a medical team in Shanghai in the 70's when a group of NIH pioneers observed how the results could be measured and therefore started introduction of that healing method into US. Ironically I never received acupuncture care till I lived in US for 10 years and after talking with Dr. Hwang. It was in August of 2004 when I first received Chiropractic care. I also saw the improvements of alignment from X-rays and reduction of muscle tension after rigorous session of initial adjustments. (3 times a week for 4 months plus traction and heat.) For a person who is into mild physical activities besides sitting at a desk at work, I get adjustments for my body just as cars get alignment and balancing works. Dr. Blessing is thorough and gentle in touch. At first, I thought the more gentle touch than male chiropractors might take longer to see results, but I was wrong. She knows how much force to use and where to work on. My recent right shoulder issue was bothersome when I rested at night, she knew where to press, pull, push and after the adjustments, I'm usually in amazement how my shoulder felt way better.

I was much more impressed with New Mexico Chiropractic Center! Dr. Marcus is HIGHLY knowledgeable. He asked me several questions to get the full perspective of what my body had been through and what we needed to work on. He informed me of his background and expertise. He explained every little thing to me scientifically which was amazing. He adjusted me and each time, he charted specifically what manipulation he had performed. Then he would walk me through what else my neck, back, hip, and shoulder needed and then perform the next manipulation and chart again. He also sent me home with exercises, and recommended I continue with physical therapy at the same time as seeing him. I would definitely recommend New Mexico Chiropractic Center! Hands down!
