Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. I clearly requested the same foiling pattern that had previously been used. Because I part my hair on the side, starting the foils along that part gave the best result. However, Victoria chose to use a different method and applied significantly fewer highlights than expected. It was very apparent that this was done to rush through my appointment while managing multiple other clients at the same time. The end result reflected that decision. My hair was noticeably over-processed, uneven, and poorly blended. I left with stark, white stripe-like sections down the middle and along both sides of my head--an outcome that looks unnatural and is difficult to conceal. This is not a subtle issue; it is a clear technical failure. The entire appointment felt rushed and lacking in care. The focus seemed to be on volume--fitting in as many clients as possible--rather than delivering quality work. This is a significant decline from the level of professionalism and attention to detail I experienced in the past. Victoria immediately acknowledged the problem and said she wanted to correct it, which made it clear she knew the result was unacceptable. However, that only reinforces that the issue was preventable and caused by poor execution and lack of attention during the service. I was also charged $220 for what was described as a 'partial' highlight, yet the coverage was far less than what is typically considered a 'partial' at most salons in the U.S. Charging a premium price for rushed, subpar work is extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, I am from out of town and was visiting on vacation, which made this situation even more difficult to handle. When I did get in the chair, I was told I would get a "quick wash" because she has clients coming in and she came in an hour early to accommodate me. 2nd visit- I arrived at 9:30 for a 9:30 appt. At 1000 I asked if Rhonda was in the salon. I was informed she wasn't and my appt wasn't until 1030. I told them I would get breakfast and return. I figured i put the wrong time in my schedule. I received a call from the salon at 1015 asking me to return because my appt was at 9:30. No apology. Rhonda actually got an attitude with ME because I wanted clarification. 3rd visit- I called to ensure appt time was 1200. I arrived at 1210 (my fault for being late) and checked in by signing my name and stylist in a sheet of paper. I was just getting weave maintenance. I was asked what was I there for by a stylist and the receptionist. I was asked if I was there for a consult. I informed them I have an appt for 12pm with Rhonda and it was for a wash and style. 3 people were seen while I waited. No one came to me and offered water or informed me my stylist was running behind. After waiting 45 minutes without any acknowledgement of my time, I asked the receptionist to cancel my appt and I walked out. Customer service is a two way street. You have to respect the technicians time AS WELL as the clients time. If I treated my patients the way I was treated at this salon, I wouldn't have a dental office because no one would come. When you treat customers like they are doing YOU a favor by coming, you will never thrive as a business. By the way, I never received a call or text after this situation.
